                  Poor service with untrained staff and mismanaged hotel”

                  Had a really bad time at this property. Nothing seemed to be in order. The room given to us has major AC and leakage issues, and only after we fought for a replacement room, were we given a room at 11.30pm and night. The breakfast buffet was horrible and completely mismanaged and understaffed. Very bad experience at this hotel.

                  the acin all the 2 rooms were not working. we found that even if u set the temperature as 20 the ac will noy go below 25. when we complained they told us that it will take some time to raech 20. but in vain, after lot of arguments they shifted to another room at 11.30pm where also we found the ac is the same. we had to sleep without ac. they know the problem but they cannot solve it. strongly we donot recomend this hotel. umesh lohia, mumbai

                  Even after paying 5050/- for 1 night, the AC was not working. Repeated complains to the room service also did not fix my problem. Non of the staff was even bothered to check if the problem was solved or offer another room. The food was bad, tasteless and raw. When I went swimming, the pool water was brown and dirty because the filter was not working, so I could not even use the pool,No toiletries were provided unless called for atleast 2-3times At the time of check out I complained to the manager, Christopher, About how they spoiled by day and how I felt cheated. He promised me a call back in 15mins after my check out and tell me how St. Laurn will make up to me for the inconvenience and horrible experience they gave me. And guess what, it’s been over 10hours and no one from the hotel has bothered to call me back. It’s no wonder that the staff is least bothered about the customer experience coz if their seniors don’t care about their own responsibilities, what will the staff learn.

                  Was charged extra through Agoda once card details were put. Called customer service, no solution found. Exhaust wasn't working in the room which made the room. extremely warm and uncomfortable. Couldn't get most tv channels. We booked with breakfast but didn't show up on our voucher. Agoda called the hotel to request they made an exception and allowed breakfast, the hotel refused. Quality of food for dinner buffet was really bad, 2 chicken starters both tasting the same, soups were watery, it took 30 mnts and 3 reminders to finally get a beer and a cocktail meanwhile starters were cold. Mocktails were to be included in the buffet price but we were not even informed, same with drinking water, staff were serving water from the jug. No soup bowls, dal bowls, tea spoons, absolutely shoddy service. And I am from the Hospitality industry, shame that the experience was spoilt completely. And I am still waiting for my extra amount to be refunded.

                  My checkin took 1+ hours at 11:30 pm. This was all because the mananger abhishek was TOOO lazy to get up and find my reservation and insisted on making a junior just stare blankly at a screen. When travel agent agoda representative called on landline and mobile, they refused to pick up thephone and just kept saying they cant find reservation. Finally I made a junior speak to the representative thru my phone and they realized that they had a reservation!!! MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE as I was tired after a long day and a longer flight. Best part was when I was checking out - i informed them about my departure 30 mins in advance and despite this they still had nothing ready after I was waiting for 45 mins!! A V O I D. it will keep you saner.

                  Check in was done inappropriately Room given had long women’s hair all over the floor. It kept getting stuck on my feet Bottles of water were not sealed. And when confronted we were told it’s Ro water being refilled We were told to be thankful our room was being changed Front desk employee was rude and didn’t help I was not given a managers number upon asking several times I was told no card or contact number is available for a manager The chef came out trying to say he’s a duty manager. When asked for his card I was denied it The problem is yet not solved. Still waiting on hotel revert

                  It’s a good hotel to stay. The staff is excellent”

                  I was in Pune for business purpose and stayed in st laurn. The hotel has a good location next to Taj Vivanta. The rooms are spacious and clean. The AC is central and their were issues regarding that the AC cooling wasn’t effective which I had told to the manager and was dealed with promptly. But this problem happened again the next day. I don’t make a huge fuss but I should have been offered another room. The restaurant Ebony has a wide variety of options and breakfast buffet was very well prepared... I had a suggestion to the chef that for a lunch the vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes what similar curry , which was well taken... Overall I will recommend this place

                  A missed opportunity”

                  With their location and name, these guys could have been a great success, however due to the mismanagement , the rooms feel very dated, lights in the room didn't work, drainage was chocked and so on n on... there were open electricity wires in the swimming pool, however disconnected, it was a moment away from disaster... I wouldn't go to this hotel again, because it's not that cheap either.

                  Not worth the price”

                  Stayed for 10 days and the hotel had a major issue with cleanliness and unattentive management. Two days into the stay and the rooms a/c stopped cooling. My wife also got bitten by a bed bug. I finally had it when i found blood stains on the bath towel. After having a strong word with the duty manager, our room was changed and he promised the rest of the stay would be pleasant. Two days later their water heating system broke and all the guests were left without hot water. They did manage to fix the problem but the next day the water flowing through the tap was dirty. It just kept getting bad to worse but it seemed the management was unmoved. We endured the worst stay in a 4star hotel but

                  Stayed at St. Laurn for 2 nights in an executive twin room. The room was perfect, spacious, could adjust the aircon to my liking, good bathroom, what more do you want? Breakfast was included and it was okay, with the usual order your own dosa etc. The room service was good as well, with a variety of choices of Indian and Western food. Loved the Muligatawny soup. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. The location is just perfect for exploring Pune and if you need an auto rickshaw or a cab, it was no problem to get one. Koregaon Park area has some lovely alleys and streets lined with trees with little cafes and restaurants with gardens. For the price paid, it is very value for money! Will stay here again if I come back to Pune.

                  St Laurn is a hotel not far from the city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean.- The breakfast buffet was very good. Lunch a la carte wasn't. One thing should get better: It is very irritating. Sitting at breakfast or another meal in the hotel restaurant while about 3 to 4 waiters standing around, taking plates away and constantly asking things that were already ordered 10 to 15 minutes before three or four times. The waiters are very friendly and polite, but that is too much.
