With its excellent and friendly staff, this hotel has won the hearts of its guests. The best location in the heart of the city makes it easy for guests to explore the nearby aquarium and museums. The spacious and clean rooms are equipped with good quality amenities. The hotel offers many activities and services nearby, including easy access to transportation.
Few guests mentioned uncleanliness in rooms with dirty surfaces and litter. Some reported slow and disorganized valet parking resulting in longer waiting times.

For the price of this hotel, it wasn’t worth it. This hotel is in a great location- there’s a lot to do in the area, and the lobby is really cool. It is hotel itself is huge, and parking (which is a separate fee) isn’t close to the entrance, so you have to haul your luggage far. There is one main set of elevators, and it’s a long walk to the rooms. Our key cards didn’t work at first, so we had a long walk back to get new cards. When we finally got into the room, there were Doritos in the middle of the floor and between the beds. There was also coffee residue in the sink, dust covering every surface, and a pencil and pretzel on the floor. We ended up getting a new room, which was somewhat cleaner- this one had a plastic lid on the floor and hair in the shower. I asked for housekeeping to come clean, and I was told they needed 24 hours notice. We got the manager involved at this point, and he attempted to make it right. We ended up in a third room, and this one only had a little hair in the shower. Overall, the cleanliness of the rooms was not great- I’m guessing housekeeping is short-staffed. The location and building itself were awesome, but with parking and breakfast being extra, in addition to the already high price of the room, I would choose to stay somewhere else next time.
We found articles of clothing in our bed. Our bathroom Floors were dirty. Customer service was impossible. Valet was incredibly unprofessional. Trashcans were overflowing throughout the hotel. Told them about shattered glass in the floor of one of the main areas but it was still there the next day. Was really so excited to stay here and it was just overall an unpleasant experience.
I was not told about any free parking, cost me $30 a day not exactly sure what I'm paying for, since I had issues with a key fob in my battery went dead, causing my alarm to go off four times on my car, and no one ever came to inspect. I guess the only reason they have security is to make sure people pay when they go out. Other than that the hotel and surrounding areas are pretty, and clean. Everything that we were planning to go to was nearby, or at the hotel itself. Was kind of disappointed that the train that they had on display was not viewable for hotel guest, since there are posters, and pictures of the train all over the inside of the room made me think that they would. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.
Stayed here for the Kenny Chesney concert. Way above my expectations! Staff was amazing, room was fresh/comfortable/clean. Highly recommend

“Staying at Union Station!”
We had an amazing weekend!! The location was great, there is plants to do at Union Station itself and it pretty closed to much more in downtown St Louis. Our room was fine but they could be better cleaning, there were left behind prescription pills near the night stand, we had to move the bed a bit to get something that fell back and it was pretty gross back there. On surface level it was clean, the bathroom was clean and the sheets looked good.
