Great concert local - some wear and tear”

Great Concert Location a couple blocks to Enterprise Center - Some wear and tear (missing closet handle and loose door security chain/bar lock). One of two key cards didn't work and had to walk back to the desk. Historic parts of the hotel are awesome. The modern add-on part of the hotel under the Union Station awning has shorter ceiling, long maze with only one set of elevators instead of two for each wing. Was quiet for having a bazillion female pop concert goers. Pool and landscaping are great except is a bit small for size hotel. Do note the STL Aquarium, soda pop store, and giant ferris wheel are all under construction till 2019 winter maybe fall so request to be on the side away from the construction it's a way longer walk from the one set of elevators but I think it is worth it. Station Grill restaurant food and staff were awesome and highly professional. Beds are super soft. Bathroom was large. The bedroom was quite small and cozi. HVAC worked well in the heat. Hotel has room service. There is an Irish pub and restaurant next door if you want cheaper food. Hotel staff seems to be able to handle large numbers of people checking in and out all 10 stations were staffed.

Great Location ”

The staff was great! We did however have a few issues. First we chose to do our own parking and the lot was full. We had to go to a back lot. Our room was nice and big but not cleaned well. There was still a party favor behind the entertainment center. The mini fridge didn't work, and there was some sort of urine, vomit stain around the toilet. It was very convenient staying at the Hotel because the next morning we went to the Aquarium. Even though our room was at the end the music and light show didn't bother us.

Fabulous building and great location but room itself is not as great”

The building is fabulous and there are ferris wheel, mini golf and aquarium just behind it. Also there are fire show and light show every evening which is great! The problem is the cleaness of the room. We found big stain in the sheet and bed cover is dirty. Hope it can improve its cleaness to match this great building.

Parking is not free”

I was not told about any free parking, cost me $30 a day not exactly sure what I'm paying for, since I had issues with a key fob in my battery went dead, causing my alarm to go off four times on my car, and no one ever came to inspect. I guess the only reason they have security is to make sure people pay when they go out. Other than that the hotel and surrounding areas are pretty, and clean. Everything that we were planning to go to was nearby, or at the hotel itself. Was kind of disappointed that the train that they had on display was not viewable for hotel guest, since there are posters, and pictures of the train all over the inside of the room made me think that they would. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Nice, but expensive”

Nice hotel, staff and stay, but pretty expensive for what you get. Well over $200/night by the time you add $35/day parking. Unless you’re set on staying here, I would recommend staying a cheaper hotel nearby and stopping in for a drink and the light show in the lobby at night, or breakfast in the AM, which would give you the same satisfaction of checking the place out.

Beautiful but not convenient 50/50”

This place is for people who specifically come to view the beautiful building inside and out with it's history and entertaining places near by. It comes with the basics such as a very clean room, nice decent size towels, bigger than usual TV, cureig with options of tea and coffee (no water), higher quality shapoo & conditioner and super comfortable beds. I say "basic" because that's what it should come with for a hotel room with regular price of 260 dlls.(I got it in spacial here in agoda for a bit over 100dlls 😊) Other than that, this place is not convenient for your tipical traveler who stops for convenience. I paid over 100dlls for 1 room with 2 queens. They charge you a ridiculous 35 dlls for parking even if you are staying at the hostel's parking. You basically have to walk around the building for a bit from the parking lot to the main entrence so if you have luggage get ready.... No convenience stores at walking distance nor in the bulding. Prepare for another maze walk in the hotel until you get to your room.... Rooms are decent looking but not the big wow for the price. So at the end of the day it really depends what you are here for. It's best suited for people with a car who is willing to pay for a room near known attractions in a gorgeous hotels with a history.

Not Worth the Money”

The room we had was definitely not worth the money. We had a king bed with a pull out sofa for our daughter. The light and phone didn’t work, the bathtub was unusable because there was no drain stopper, the bathtub was cracked as well, we had no menu to order room service from (and the phone didn’t work anyway). We had requested extra pillows which we never receive. We let the staff know when we checked out (we were there less than 24 hours) but nothing was done about it. The food in the grand hall was good. They were short staffed so some of it was cold, but still tasty. The salmon and steak were fantastic. Overall, I would stay somewhere else and just eat there.

A bit disappointing ”

While this is a beautiful facility, we experienced a let down for the money that we spent. There were two events being held which really limited our access to the facilities. But the real issue was that our room was not ready at check in, and we waited for two hours to gain access to it. This made getting ready for our event in town difficult. There were other people waiting in a very long line and all throughout the lobbies. This should not happen at a facility of this level of expense.

Accessibility issues galore!”

If you are wheelchair or stroller bound, this hotel does not for you. There are very few rams and if you need one you have to go all the way around out of the way. If you are a hotel guests, they make it a burden for you if you don’t do valet. You have to park in a side or back parking lot and walk a quarter of a mile to get to some sort of entrance. It is really hard to find the hotel entrance from the aquarium side, due to a lack of signs. Make sure to lift up on the handles for key card entry doors, they really need to be replaced. When parking on the weekend, a security like to block off parking lot exits. And there are barricades everywhere making you walk even further when the entrance is just right there. This location is not suitable for the handicapped or disabled. Ramps in elevators are a few Can be prepared for a lot of walking to inconvenient parts of the hotel that are not close to your room or any main lobby area. Also, Station Grill online says it’s open for dinner but it’s only open for breakfast and lunch.

Nice hotel. Inconvenient accommodation. ”

The hotel was very nice. However during our stay the main lobby area was closed. We wanted to see the light show, but was not able to. Valet parking lost my keys. The lady at the Valet stand, I believe her name was Jasmine or something like that was rude, condescending. Basically hateful. The Valet Chris was amazing. He was an older gentleman who went above and beyond. Great person. Back to the hotel. While nice, with all of the areas shut off from guest for special events it made getting my girlfriends elderly parents to dinner with us very difficult and inconvenient. I doubt that I will stay here again. Unfortunately
