It was great staying here... in terms of parking book it early or else theyre fully book all the time. Housekeeping is very honest.. left my sling bag with my wallet(cash and credit card) in it! pick up the next day! thank you very much.
Pro: strategic location easy access to town. Love the interior and comes with all necessary equipments Cons: limited parking and it comes with a cost NZD25 per day. If you drive campervan, not suitable as the car park entrance is not meant for big vehicle
Excellent stay at St Martins Waldorf”
Really happy with our stay at St Martins Waldorf. We definite will come back here if ever we are in Auckland. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big room with ample space. Clean. It's just an excellent place to stay. Well done!
Booked a two rooms apartment with 2 very comfortable queen beds, it's really great after a 13 hours long flight, Considered a fully furnished apartment, washing machine is a plus but no dryer and we spend NZ2 to dry our clothes at the nearby dobi.
Great value for money, very clean and staff are great only down side is the location which is pretty far from where everything else is, however there is a bus that can take you to the main spots in the city which cost 1NZD to hop on.
clean but small apartment”
location was OK. there is a very steep slope leading to the hotel entrance. units are abit small. do note that parking at the hotel itself need to be booked in advance. there is an open air carpark next to it which charges 40nzd for 24hours of parking
Great stay in the city”
No complaint but do take note that their car park is 3 underground floors with probably 10+ spot every level. Saw a family having problem entering the car park with a multi-carrier as the entrance is abit tight for big vehicles.
Awesome location. Nice quiet room with washing machine and all the facilities we needed. Would be good for longer stays. Comfy bed and great central location just away from the late night noise of the city. Awesome views from the higher floors. Best value for money for multiple roomed apartments.
Nice place to stay short term”
Parking car fee $25+ garage entrance /exit winds and is super narrow one car only We had a 2 bedroom apt unit. only had a washer, no dryer. .had to purchase tokens from receptionist to use building laundry facility dryer to dry clothes which is located in the basement. This was a huge inconvenience when you're on the 15th floor. The unit could use some artwork in the bedrooms. The desk chair was stained and torn. The light switch over the king bed was broken.
Comfortable living condition for city
2 days' stay”
Excellent location but drop off & loading is a bit of problem. Parking is chargeable. Room condition was fair
so Unfriendly Staff!!”
I had Jet lag and super tired the day we checked in,and they didnt care and knocked my door to ask us to go out with super unfriendly tone! they didnt even care when I asked for one hour to prepare.. check out is at 11..which normal hotel should be at 12. location next to cemetery which is uncomfortable view. but I do concern about their staff here.. VERY UNFRIENDLY.. so not recommended..
Great Location & Accomodating Staff”
stayed at St Martins Waldorf Apartments for 4 nights with my family (8 adults & 1 child) in 2 corner 2BR Superior rooms both located on the 16th floor which are both spacious and with convenient amenities (dishwasher, washing machine, TV, ref, microwave etc.) like we are just back home. Thankful also for the reception staffs (Filipino ladies) who are very friendly & accomodating to our concerns & requests. Location is very near multiple bus stops.
The property is quite disappointing. In my room the airconditioning did not work properly and the unit was damaged physically. The TV remote functions were all worn off and the TVis mounted on the wall too high for comfortable viewing, with cables hanging along the wall. The furniture looked like it had come from a second hand shop and the room layout is strange and cramped. The second bedroom had no airconditioning and was small. There is only one bathroom, which might be OK for a family, but not suitable if you are sharing with a colleague. The staff were OK, but disinterested. Breakfast on the weekend is not available until after 8:00 am, so if you have to be somewhere early, bring your own.
Pro - location is about 20 mins walk to central. Bed is comfortable and towels are clean. Check in was a bliss when we arrived at past 1am. Con - room a bit dated and furniture looked old. No washer and dryer.
Great Place in Auckland”
Room size is generous. Generally clean and tidy. Staffs are friendly. 5-10 mins walk to the centre of Auckland downtown. Parking is a problem especially if you have a higher car such as van and suv. It was a lovely place to stay and highly recommended.
This was the most affordable among the 4 different accommodations we stayed at in NZ. We had a corner room, it was spacious and had a nice view. Just wish the pathway to the entrance of the hotel had a smooth non-stairs option for better movement of luggages.
the apt is located next to a graveyard & there was not enough parking for the guest. i had to pay $15 for night parking. until 8am. The next morning i woke up late & reach the car park at 8.30am & saw a summon of $65 for expired hours. Total disappointment. Met another Msian guest staying at same hotel, he also receive summon. The hotel staff was not that helpful. they should have forewarn us to wake up early or assist to pay for early parking fee as the guest needs to wake up b4 8am to avoid penslty. Unpleasant experienced. Need to pay $20/ night if park in the hotel
They need to study aboyt their parking. Very dangerous and terrible even for small car. Please use other pay parking nearby for your own safety. Toilet quite smell when we check in. Other than that everything ok about this hotel.
