As expected”
Completely as expected before arriving. I visit Yangon regularly for business purpose. The base rate of Hotel in Yangon has lifted up recently. At Stallion, I can say the price, the room and the staff all are as good as expected. One thing I likes to see that is internet of Hotel is quite good during my stay of 3 days. It did not knocked my down even 5', and surpise me with its fast connection. It takes less than 10' to reach the airport, again as my expect.

Budget Hotel with some pros and cons”
I stayed at the Stallion Hotel for low price and proximity to friends. The bed was comfortable. The sheets seemed clean, though the pillow cases seemed worn. A small refrigerator in room had a couple bottles of free water each day (though the seal on one was already broken). Staff were helpful, but spoke only the simplest English. One found my passport to return to me upon check-out since reception staff were away. No real dining facilities. I was seated on a chair in the reception area and a small table pulled up for breakfast two mornings. Breakfast (a piece of French toast, cut up into pieces and a cup of hot, sweet coffee mix) was brought to my room the 3rd morning. Most room furnishings were quite worn, though the air conditioner and one room chair were relatively new. Glass blocks along the hallway ceiling allowed the hall light to shine into my room all night, though it didn't bother me. Other rooms didn't seem to have the glass block where there was a hall light. Wifii was slow but useable for basic functions like receiving email and doing Skype chat. Saved $10 by taking a cold water room. I might stay at the Stallion Hotel again, though the management could step up its performance with room instructions for the wifii (I had to ask the password), fixing the cable connection to the TV and seeing the room was made up everyday. Stallion Hotel is less than 5 minutes from a Citimart shopping area near Junction 8 with several options for Asian food, localized burgers or a couple of bakeries. Serviceable for a budget traveler, but could be improved.

Very basic, no frills accommodation.”
We needed to avoid Yangon's permanent traffic jams for an early morning flight and this was 10 mins to airport. We had 2 rooms, one with a little balcony which afforded a lovely view of the market in the lane-way behind and an early morning procession of monks. The other room was a windowless box, mercifully air-conditioned. Pale lilac walls with no adornment. A little decorating wouldn't go astray. Large, adequate bathrooms with independent hot water showers which allocated a tiny dribble. No common area to relax in, so this is purely a functional hotel as a bed for the night. Staff speak limited English but are very nice and helpful. No English channels on TV. A short walk to some great local eateries nearby with plenty of cold Myanmar beer. One night stay was perfect but I wouldn't want this to be my base for a longer Yangon visit.

Not so bad”
Spacious room, considered a fast wifi. Staff nearly do not speak English at all, charged 15USD going to the airport and we end up getting a taxi on the street for 4USD.

Lovely hotel”
I cannot access to the Internet. Hotel staffs barely understand English.

Located close to the airport.”
Chose this hotel as a transit hotel for our early morning flight home. Negotiated with the taxi driver at the airport to bring us here for 3,500 kyat. There were few restaurants around the area and one shopping mall but that would require a long walk. Good place for transiting but far from the centre of attraction.

Expensive, horrible room and terrible nights sleep”
Booked tho hotel for a transit stop through yangon to mandalay the next morning. Hotel was hard to find and once there the room was dirty, no hot water and there were windows onto the hallway up high that meant that the room was bathed in bright light the entire time. Horribly overpriced and worst hotel I have stayed in for a long time.

Just as bad as everyone says it is”
They only reason I stayed here was because it was the cheapest place I could find on Agoda that was close to the airport. It was quite honestly almost not worth it. The toilet seat at several multi-coloured stains and splotches on it, there was exactly 5 squares of toilet paper left, the sheets and pillowcases were stained and there was no hot water. The room was quite large and had a wardrobe, vanity, drawers, tv and a fridge, which is good. But the lack of cleanliness was practically unbearable; I slept in my clothes. The breakfast is delivered to your room, french toast and milk tea. The staff are friendly though severely limited in English. Thankfully I stayed for only 12 hours because any more time there would've been unbearable - and this is coming from someone who primarily stays in hostels! *Taxi to and from the airport should cost only 3,000 kyat*

Very basic.”
We stayed here because we arrived at the airport one afternoon, and were leaving from the bus station in the morning - no need to go as far as city center to stay overnight. The hotel was very basic, verging on dirty, but not quite. Were told we'd have breakfast at 7:30 in our room. We told them we wanted it served at 8:30, but at 8:00 two trays with eggs, sweet toast and sweet coffee were brought and could not be refused. There's a mall a few blocks away with restaurants, supermarket, ATM, etc., so that was a saving grace. Wouldn't want to do it for more than one night.

Big, but modest room. TV had no English channels.”
This was a pleasant experience, mostly due to the staff's willingness to accommodate every request we made.

Nightmare!!!!Except for near the airport!”
It was nightmare and suck!!!!Most Terrible experince in Myanmar!! First,it was hard to find.We hired a taxi from Aung Mingalar Highway Bus Station and cost 6000K to get there. The hotel was so small that both us and the driver could not find it without asking 3 or 4 people. But there was nice that we got the room soon after we arrived at 8:00 am. The room wasn't good or too bad, just OK, but no hot water to shower!!!!And when we asked the manager,we only got his"yes, yes,no hot water"but any explanation. And there's very noise all the day!We were so tired that day so we didn't get outside, and we heard two men yelling all day!Even 7:00am the next morning which made us very upset. And they sounded like having a fight= =. I think the worst is the attitude of manager. We payed 30$ before we went there by agoda, and agoda promised us the breakfast, but when we asked the manager, he refused to offer it,even after we argued for 15 mins.He just can't give us some pieces of bread, because he said we only paid 25$,if we want breakfast, we should pay 30$.But we already paid it!!He said that Agoda took it,he can only get 25$,so we hadn't get the breakfast finally. And no delivering to Airport, but it's really close to it,maybe 20 mins and 2000K is Okay, for taxi. But I will never go this hotel again, the most unfriendly people we have met in Myanmar!!! 真是糟糕的经历!

This Hotel is more like a hostel for us. We stay here only because it's close to airport.

Nearish to airport, cheap but a bit scary”
The room was kind of scary. It was in a basement area that doubled as a carpark. The room itself was large and empty and the bathroom was as large as the room, in a bad way. It was a huge tiled room with a shower with no curtain in one corner and a toilet in the other corner. The windows in the room never sounded closed and made it hard to sleep as the noise and lights from traffic continued all night. The staff were friendly, but as it was a room full of younger guys watching tv it felt a bit creepy. I would probably avoid for single travlers.

bad hotel. ”
Hotel not clean, not hot water, no place for the breakfast, the toilet was out, no windows, room like a jail, I have seen bloed in the bed, sorry very dirty and the breakfast, horrible. We were two friends, it was impossible to stay in this place. I don't know how it's possible to ask so many money for a room like this. We are gone to the hotel 63, good place and clean.

Inexpenive but noisy.”
The staff were friendly and helpful but the acoustics are terrible. Every opening and closing door echoes and noise from the street made sleep difficult. Not recommended if you have an early flight and wish to be fresh and alert.
