Great hotel at central location”
I spent 2 nights at Stanford Court San Francisco Hotel and an overall experience was excellent. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The location is great, very close to many attractions. I will definitely return and highly recommend.

Sad goodbye...”
Very nice and clean. Super friendly and helpfull staff, Thu Nhi, she´s the best..! Excellent location!! But... they charge us at the end $ 22 dollars PER DAY for WiFi service, what is RIDICULOUS when you´re paying that kind of rate, it is NOT a cheap place, and WIFI is a service they should provide for free...! Our time in San Francisco was great and Stanford hotel was very convenient, but, this charge for WIFI, was very disappointing....

A beautiful hotel”
We booked this hotel through Agoda because we had the option of interconnecting / adjoining rooms. For a family of 5 with 3 kids, this was imperative for us. Unfortunately the hotel was not able to grant that request. Very disappointing! Anyway we stayed at Stanford Court San Francisco for 5 days so we learned the following: 1. The breakfast food never changes. After 3 days you really want to try something else. 2. It's atop a hill so traversing the steep incline with young kids gets quite difficult and, of course, tiring. If you plan to do a lot of walking, consider this! - I didn't think about this. I know. My fault! 3. The elevators are S.L.O.W. Other than that, this hotel is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. This hotel is thoughtful! This is the first hotel where we felt they built it for their guests. We were provided with sports bottles that we could take with us and refill with very cold water from their water station at the lobby. Thank you for that, Stanford Court!

Big room, comfy bed, great hotel bar”
Good hotel near the top of a hill. Large clean, quiet room, good shower. The basin & wardrobe were grouped together in a sort of walk in annex which we liked. Great lively hotel bar which actually made you want to hang out there, different types of seating, great craft beers and nice food too. Surprised by the walk up the hill but that’s San Francisco apparently!

Exceptional experience staying at Stanford Court Hotel ”
The location at Nob Hill is perfect to get around San Fran by cable car or Uber. The breakfast is very substantial and great choices. Having a drink in the bar is very relaxing. Our room was so beautiful we did not want to leave. However we have to say the best thing about this hotel is the staff: Michael on reception, Joe and Jeffery on concerige duties, the cleaning ladies were all amazing to us. We will return some day and we highly recommend this hotel which was always busy to anyone lucky enough to visit San Francesco. If we could score it 20/10 we would. The saddest part was leaving after 6 nights. The room upgrade was exceptional and very generous. A big thank you John and Catherine Sherry

Unpretentious, friendly customer service”
What I like most about Stanford Court was the customer service. I often find hotel staff are either hurried or pretentious. Neither was the case at Stanford. The staff were not only extremely helpful but created a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Instead of just another lodger that need to processed in, you felt welcome by all the staff from valet, to bellhop, to front desk. I will definitely be back. The room I stayed in was quite adequate especially for the value and location.

Stanford Court SF”
We loved our short stay at Stanford Court SF Hotel! It was accessible to the North Beach area, Chinatown, Union Square, etc. It was located on the cable car line, which made it a little loud in the room, but honestly didn't bother us. It was kind of nice to hear the ding-ding in the background (& they provide ear-plugs in the bathroom if it really bothers you). The staff were all pleasent, helpful & welcoming right down to the housekeeping staff. It was very clean, well appointed, had comfortable beds & good water pressure. It checked off all the right boxes for us & we will definitely be back.

Comfortable, friendly staff, recommended”
My stay began with an early check-in (and a complimentary upgrade). Helpful staff attended to each of my requests, and the Stanford Court was conveniently located (close to public transport and sights). It is at the top of a steep hill, but having to walk 5min up a hill at the end of your day makes you feel a whole lot less guilty about those desserts you had earlier. Highly recommended.

Pleasant stay”
Room was very clean n spacious (for san fran). They offer free coffee and tea until 10.30am. They also have a water machine at the hall way to stay hydrated. Location is convenient but id still recommend taking a cab cause of the up hill (unless you want a good exercise!)

Best bed I've slept in years”
After getting over the shock at hotel prices in San Fran, we found a great hotel here. I had the definate WOW factor with the room. It's luxurious and worth a treat. Liked the Starbucks coffee touch. Didn't like the hills on approach to the hotel..suitcases and very steep hills don't go.

Average”
My city view room had the thinnest windows ever made so you heard everything. Including the construction that started at 6:30am. The breakfast not included wasn't great at all and over priced for what it is. Good location but beware of hills. That's just San Francisco though. Gym is good though. On my stay the TV lost almost all its channels

What is an Urban Fee???”
We stayed for three nights at the Stanford Court and thought the hotel and staff were fabulous. However when leaving we were presented with a bill of over $100 for Urban Fees. We asked what this was and was told that all hotels in SF charge this fee and our booking agent would have told us about it. As I couldn’t access my original booking, I had no way to check this, so we just had to pay the fee. After we left I managed to get a reservation confirmation and there was no mention of this fee. We paid quite an amount for the hotel stay itself as it was a busy time of year, but to be hit with this fee really made us angry. I am in the process now of complaining to the hotel itself.

LOVE THIS HOTEL LOCATION”
we love this hotel, especially our first impression when we got 1 complimentary drinks at the first night, and if you want to buy it just $1/bottle such an easy for us to have a mineral water, since our previous 5stars hotel didn't even provide complimentary drinks just like stanford did. the service not so good....since everyday i've to asked the housekeeping to refill our coffee again and again. but overall still RECOMMENDED!

Hell of a Weekend ”
I had a great time in SF. My weekend almost got ruined by another guest who stayed in a room adjacent to mine. This individual stole my wallet and caused a scene with his guests while I confronted him regarding the incident. I notified hotel staff who went above and beyond to help me. Long story short I was able to get my wallet with a few missing things but the most important items were still there. The security staff helped out and also the front desk personal. This incident could have changed how I felt about SF but it played out as best possible which I think it's because of the hotel and its staff. Unfortunately there are some individuals who choose to commit crimes while people are enjoying themselves. Overall I had a great time and would recommend the hotel.

Love love this hotel but the surrounding hills make it terrible for getting around”
This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are huge and elegant. Best beds ever! We absolutely loved staying in this hotel. But... The hills in every direction make it so hard to get around. If you're driving it would be fine. We used uber and it was perfect - only about $8 to get to Fishermans wharf. Well worth it. The cable cars are sooooo much fun but at $7 per trip is a costly way to get around. Get a day pass for $20 and use it as much as you can. Try to stand on the outside - absolutely brilliant fun. With all that in mind, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Easy relaxed hotel”
At the top of a hill but I guess so is most of San Fran. Didn't see much of the staff but were friendly enough when we did. Quick and efficient breakfast. Not overly exciting hotel but great if you are out all day and night exploring the city.

Great Location & Great Service”
greeted and checked in was told there were 2 options on rooms available at the time. the front desk rep. took us to view one of the rooms which was a parlor room loved it spacious with a beautiful view so didnt need to see the queen bed room. the hotel overall is very nice with all the amenities a family, couple or for a group of friends can ask for. i spent my birthday weekend here with a few friends and had a sleepover which worked out perfect.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!”
The staff here is AWFUL. I called in ahead of time to ensure that my husband could check-in by himself. They put his name on the reservation, took his contact information, and confirmed that he could indeed check-in without me being present. When my husband showed up, they said his name wasn't on the reservation and wouldn't let him check in. At first, they pretended like they never took my call. Then they blamed it on their "central reservation line", which they refused to take accountability for. It was a huge mess, my young daughter was melting down because she was so tired and they wouldn't let my husband check in to put her down for her nap, and they never took responsibility for their mistake. They were unprofessional and NOT SORRY. We also got a queen bed when we paid EXTRA for a KING bed. And parking is SIXTY DOLLARS!! It's NOT worth the money, book elsewhere. There are plenty of nice hotels in San Francisco. Don't bother with this place.

I was very surprised”
Staff were all friendly. My room cleaner was the best!! I stayed in room 448 if the manager wants to relay my appreciation to her. Premium space and accommodation. Newly renovated so all was awesome!! I don't know what to say but it's one of the best hotels I have been to! Thanks for making our stay a very happy one.
