An Exceptional Experience”
This is the first time we're staying in a hotel with transparent roof. Although we didn't get to see the Aurora on the night we stayed, but it's still a nice experience in this hotel. Like it and the staff are friendly.

Incredible location, incredible rooms and incredible service! ”
We stayed for 3 nights before moving onto another igloo for a night and to be honest I wish we had stayed at the star artic for all 4 nights. The staff were incredibly helpful. The room was beautiful but unfortunately we did have a hiccup( an issue that could’ve happened at any hotel). The manager handled our complaint with such professionalism and provided generous compensation so much so that I highly recommend the star artic to anyone considering travelling to the area. Thank you to the staff at star artic and we can’t wait to visit again.

Aurora cabin”
Great stay with excellent service. Unlike most hotels which do not cater for kettle, this one does! The place will look nice in winter when snow covers the gravel/sandy ground. The room is beautiful especially for indoor photoshoot and location (Main lobby/outdoor/ Suite with view) provides you an awesome views of national park ahead and Saariselka town. Just a lack of privacy to forgo for the Aurora cabin. Be careful while driving on a foggy night.. the signs along the "road" to the hotel can be improved on...

Beautiful hotel, slightly on the pricy end. Airport transfer by hotel costs a bomb for a relatively short rIde. The cabin was fantastic. Clean and cosy. Great room service. Great wifi. Breakfast is good, but the usual fare, nothing fancy. Great location for Aurora viewing. Came in Sept. Not quite skiing season. Plenty of wild berries just nearby and good trekking trails. The ski slope and lift is literally a minute’s walk, with a souvenir shop and a restaurant. Happy stayer. :)

Clean spacious suite rooms Lovely view of Saariselka from the balcony of the Scenic Suite rooms and of the sky from the Aurora Cabin Some staff very helpful & accommodating with requests Buffet breakfast whilst not extensive was more than adequate and provides a good start to the day Cons Steep staircase in the Scenic suite rooms. Tiny bathroom in Aurora Cabin, poorly designed - toilet gets wet when having shower.

There is flood after shower. 2. Room 310 - Light pollution, light reflection from main restaurant. Not a prefect room for aurora. 3. No proper room for luggage storage. Basically you can just dump your luggages anywhere. 4. Messages sent and confirmed there is dinner served. Re-confirm around 3pm to reserve the table for dinner but receptionist said there is no necessary. Reach restaurant around 6pm, initially they said no dinner serve for the day, but fortunately one of the staff said they have only one dish leave for us, which is reindeer stew. But customer come in later have a fish dishes serve without booking in advance.

Amazing Stay”
We enjoy the stay in suite even there is no Aurora at night. The room is with high ceiling, beautiful & comfortable. The staff here is helpful. The restaurant food is delicious. And we join the safari tour, it’s fun!

Nice hotel with polite staff. The hotel is still new and expanding. Location is good if you have a car. Could be better if the gym is neater. The stairs can be improved to make it safer esp. families with young kids.

interesting glass house”
Glass roof is interesting but as other's have noted that privacy can be an issue. I expect other glass roof themed hotel to have similar issue. The bathroom maybe a tight fit for some. Had a great enjoyable stay.
