Close to Taitung Train Station”
Easy to find. Close to station. Quiet and clean
The host is friendly and helpful. Even though there are not many restaurants, we can order delivery.
The bath room is clean and spacious.
It is close to train and bus station, so it is good to stay if you need to stop by for transferring.

A simple, clean, decent place for a night's rest.”
Convenient, easy-to-find, and quiet.
I stayed at the Star Inn 101 with my 11-year-old son and 3-year old daughter. The photo we were shown when booking showed a room with 2 beds + a sofa and we expected that to be perfect for the 2 kids and me. It turns out, the room we received was smaller than shown. The room was so narrow, that the door into the room couldn't even open all the way.... part way open, the door hit against the bed and we had to squeeze in through the narrow opening. And, there were only 2 narrow beds with no sofa at all, so it turned out somewhat more cramped than we expected. The room was simple and small, but clean. Breakfast was also simple: our choice of rice porridge or toast and jelly. The kids and I felt that our stay at the Star Inn 101 was okay, but nothing strongly impressed us.

Good option close to the station”
Clean, friendly staff and close to the station
This hotel represents a decent option for those traveling on a budget. Whilst it is out of town, the main reason to come to Taitung is not really the town centre itself but the surrounding areas and countryside so a location close to the station helps in that respect. Bikes can be borrowed free from the hotel anyway and although it is quite a ride into town, there is a cycle pathway with no traffic on it. The breakfast was fine and the staff were helpful.
