This place is a joke!”
Booked a room, got there at 10 pm. Not a soul in sight. Called 3 times, no one answered. Had to go to another hotel and got their last room. The girl there said they get people all the time because no one is there to let them in. What a way to run a business. Still trying to get my money back.

Good Value in Wonderful Little Town”
Wallace ID is one of my favorite little towns, located in a historic silver-mining mountain valley. Spend a comfortable night at the Stardust, visit some fascinating shops (taxidermy, anyone?) and get a good meal. Wallace never disappoints.

Timing ”
The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The mattress needed to be replaced but was okay. The nightly rate was more than I would normally pay, however, it was an issue of supply and demand for the folks attending the blues festival. I would recommend this facility with the knowledge that is an older motel and that there are vintage characteristics to it.

This is an older facility. My wife and I had a room with one double bed it had a fridge and microwave so we got food at Walmart about 10 to 15 miles west of wallace and ate meals in our room. We put our bikes in our room at night. We went there to ride the Hiawatha trail. No daily maid service unless requested, which we didn't mind. It seemed clean but I always wore my sandals in the room. The office was not usually available but there was a cell phone number to call. Good to stay and go do other things and then sleep. Not good to stay and relax

I prepaid for my room via Agoda, but was charged an additional $92 when I arrived at the motel. There was inadequate parking, the amenities listed on their website were nonexistent, and the bathroom needed to be cleaned. The clerk was unable to explain the charges, and made no effort to answer my other questions. This has the potential to be a quirky charming motel but needs some serious staff training and basic improvements before it is even adequate.

Security nonexistant. The key entry needs replaced. The deadbolt would not shut from the inside. The door had clearly been kicked in with visible damage to the frame.
