Although the hotel isn't on a tourist neighborhood we found that a plus. Several buses take you quickly and really cheap to anywhere around the city. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect for us. 100% recommended!!

Pros - quiet side alley, microwave, balcony, comfy bed. Cons- barking neighbour dog, teeny tiny bathroom..smallest yet!! Not much in the main busy road.. few restos on side st. Dirty floor hasnt been mopped in a long time.. would have stayed a couple of days but room wad booked out.

Short and Simple”
Location was perfect as near to worksite. Everything works here. Only some noisy pumbling sound when the adjacent room uses the tap water. Curtains could not shield the morning sunlight. Woke up 1 hour earlier then scheduled. But would return if have better rates here.

Starlight Guesthouse was a real pleasure to stay at, it's certainly on the cheaper end of the scale for what it offers (kingsize really comfy bed being the main detail, fridge, microwave and kettle just extra for me). The staff are really friendly, and Ms Ha, the manager, is incredibly helpful. She also gives an excellent massage, multiskilling to the max!

We stayed here for five days and we loved it. It’s very clean, quiet and the rooms are big enough for what you need. They contain everything you need in there for your convenience. The owner Winston is very friendly and will help you with anything you want to know about Ho Chi Min. It’s in District 7, but it’s only 20 minutes to Distract 1 by bus which costs 5000 dong, travelling with the locals is fun. You can get a taxi, but it takes about the same time and is about 100,000 dong. All in all a great place to stay if you’re in Ho Chi Min. Many thanks to Winston and his staff for a very pleasant stay.

Transportation from and to International airport: Owner Winston Tew made the arrangements. Food: We had most memorable time in the nearby cafe for morning coffee and breakfast on authentic Banh Mi - Vietnamese Baguette freshed out of the bakery. Room: we stayed on the third floor, as compare to all the rooms we have been staying, Starlight Guesthouse room is spacious, very clean (easily beat many 3-star hotels) and well maintained. All the things you need are there: airconditioning, hot water, tv, wifi, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee and tea, and best of all is the little balcony where I spent lot of evening time just to relax and enjoy the breeze.
