Friendly Staff”
I want to thank the staff of Stay-In Lodge for accommodating my unusual need for a room with no wi-fi intrusion. They took me from room to room until I could find one with a good environment I could tolerate. As a result, my stay there was comfortable. This is not a fancy hotel, but not everyone needs fancy. It is a good deal for the price. Regarding food, there were great restaurants and food vendors nearby.

It's OK, I guess?”
I would recommend this lodge because of its value for money and its location. Recently, I've stayed there for a few days and personally, I would say it was satisfactory. BUT, due to its renovations taking place on first and second floor, only rooms in the third and fourth floor are available. Also, the facilities shown in the picture for the lobby is not what it looked like. All in all, I would say this lodge is satisfactory for last minute and short stay but not for long stay.

Different than what I have booked, yet still on satisfactory level”
I booked a room with double bed & double decker with breakfast provided. But when I tried to check in, they told me there's only room with 2 double decker available, breakfast will not be served as well as renovation is going on at the kitchen floor. Above all the negative experiences, the accommodation itself is very strategic and value for money. It's located in the middle of the city and with that price and the services of the staff, it's worth every penny spent.

Inspection should be done frequently. Can't say not well equipped, but the small broken things make the customers uncomfortable, says the fan in room can't oscillate left and right, the adjuster of the shower heater is broken, toilet door can't lock...

Good location and cheap”
It was a okay stay considering we shred the floor with 20 young soccer players, it was loud at times, all went to sleep by 10:00 PM, it does need a few upgrades, sometimes helpful staff makes up for those things that need to be updated, the management was helpful and answered all are questions and give this Hostel thumbs up.

Good location, common bathrooms aren't clean”
It was just ok because most of the times we're out. It's near the Atkinsons clock tower and there's a lot of establishment around since it's located along Jalan Gaya. The price is cheap but the rooms aren't good/accommodating. No design and it looks old and messy. You can look for a better room at the same price around the area. The common area where the common bathrooms are located were dirty and not properly maintained. The hostel is sharing the building with other hostel that looks cleaner and more comfortable. The free breakfast is just a bread (loaf), butter and coffee.

Rather disappointing”
We asked for a window room and got one facing the corridor. The staff were pleasant but the standards were low. The sweet butter at breakfast had been kept too long. We were on the fourth floor, all the others includingthe lounge had bed bugs. Avoid the sofas!

You get what you pay for! ”
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who isn't looking for extreme budget or who is staying more than one night. I didn't have high expectations at all, and it met my expectations. The staff was nice enough. Breakfast was toast and nescafe. Despite the signs asking folks to be quiet, the walls were basically cardboard and it was quite loud (and I booked a private room). Showers were communal, and I made the decision to wait to shower until my next hotel. Definitely bring shower shoes for this one!

Gross room, noisy, terrible washrooms”
we stayed one night. It was awful. The family triple we booked which was just big enough to fit a double and a twin with no space between, had a window that couldn't close out to the hallway, where a group of men who were on the same floor talked and made loud noises all night. The shared bathrooms were not clean, and the light did not work in one of them. Certainly not a 3 star establishment. I have payed less for far better facilities and service in a 1 star hostel.

the lodge was ok..but i dont like with the service of the stay-in lodge..Everything that You ask need the deposit..for example, i ask the iron, water heater, they said it need the deposit..I hate that place..
