An Oasis In A Far Place”
We arrived late at night. The staff held our room and made check-in very easy for us. After a good night's rest we had a delicious "free" breakfast. Later that evening we had another meal in their restaurant. The food was well prepared surprisingly tasty and priced correctly. The swimming pool was one one the nicest designed pools I have seen here in the Philippines and there were an ample number of seating accommodations surrounding the pool. The landscaping was excellent and gave the entire hotels grounds a sincere feel. If you are traveling to Vigan, take the Florida Bus Line from Manila as its route is shorter than Partas Bus Lines. Have them drop you at the Candon Hotel for a restful night and then catch another Florida Bus in front of the hotel to continue your trip.

Rooms are very clean, spacious enough. Beds are comfortable. Air con a bit noisy. Stayed at the 4th floor. Hotel has no elevators. Convenient location along the highway if you need to stay in Candon or you'd like to take a rest before driving to Ilocos Norte. Breakfast so-so. Staff friendly and efficient.

Their rooms feels like you are in the lodges of Sagada that’s why I keep coming back here whenever I’m in the area. This is my 2nd time here and will book again if we have family gatherings in Ilocos Sur!

Staff needs more training, overall a good hotel”
Attendant upgraded our room since the one booked wasnt endorsed properly so the room was kinda occuppied once we got there. thank you for the upgrade. The hotel has the potential to be the best hotel in Candon however, needs improvement on staff training and cleanliness. Breakfast was good however, took 25 mins to prepare a simple toast and scrambled eggs. After checking out, we got called for the extra coffee we asked from waiter which was submitted late to front desk so it didn't reflect on our final bill. Note to self, breakfast coffee was limited to one each (LOL). To have them call me just for this after having been checked out is a big no, we were already underway Manila. If I was informed that there was a charge for extra coffee then I would have reminded front desk for this minor charge. The rooms needed a deeper cleaning. It's clean butan extra detail of cleanliness would have made a better impression. In any case, it's the most convenient hotel close to road.

Our stay is fairly good. Our room is clean and the Staff are very nice. It would be better if breakfast is also included. 😁 But I will definitely stay in this hotel again when we come back to Ilocos norte.

Best available option”
Stayed for 3 nights while visiting friends. We arrived early a.m. hours after the drive from Manila. It was very nice to be greeted at that hour and all during our stay as “sir”and “ma’am”. The hotel restaurant also was fine for breakfast and a simple dinner during our stay. Where it misses is that our room never was cleaned or towels refreshd during our stay. While the room was clean for our arrival it is disappointing to not have that done during our stay. The hotel has a good location on the highway, a short tricycle ride from shops, and the rooms are clean comfortable for a brief stay. In a town with few good options Staylite provides a good basic room.

2nd experience for this Hotel was better! Will definitely go back, room was pristine and was much better than executive in terms of cleanliness and bathroom facility. A bonus was the balcony. Air-conditioning was coldand cable tV channel was ample. please keep it up, will recommend hotel in the future.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Good size room for 2 adults and 1 child. Close to eateries. Only complaint was two days a stinky smell coming into the room in the morning only. No elevators and steps of staircase is quite small and steep, can be dangerous but we were careful so its ok. I like the exercise going up and down the stairs.

I arrived very early in the morning at around 2:30 am and I was accommodated. The front desk sought my permission to be billeted near the highway where I could hear and feel the road vibration of the transportation passing by. Even if my room was right beside the highway, I was able to catch up on sleep Saturday night with the cable television set on CNN.

Good Stop on the Northern Road”
This hotel is a good stop on the road to Northern Luzon. Clean hotel. Helpful staff. Location right on the main road, at the southern end of town. Hotel is well kept, simple, and good value for money.

Hotel is perfect for budget conscious individuals ”
The hotel is okay, the rate is very affordable and the rooms are big, the good and bad thing about this hotel is it's location, good because it's accessible (located along the highway), bad because the windows and balcony door are not sound proof which means that you can hear the vehicles passing along the highway. Most of the items on the hotel's restaurant's menu were out of stock when tried to eat there also so we ended up travelling to the city center (only 3 mins away) to look for a better restaurant.

Gone downhill”
We stayed three days at this hotel. During that time, the wifi didn't work at all in my room. Also, my room, was almost like a cave and I couldn't even get a cell signal. There was no plug for the kettle and no landline or way to contact the front desk for help. We asked for more towels and water on day two and although they said yes to the request, we got back late at night to find no towels or water and again no way to contact them without walking outside through the restaurant in our pyjamas late at night. I booked an executive suite so I expected that the facilities would be much better than this. No wifi and no cell phone coverage, is not good at all in this day and age.

Good --- checking in was fast; rooms lack toiletries and foot towels --- but when we requested it ... Housekeeping immediately provided d items requested! Downside: dead phone lines during our stay & staying on d 4th floor without provision of elevators... Hu hu hu!!!

Hot shower not working ”
pros: good location, friendly and helpful crew cons: hot shower in our room was not working, we had to transfer rooms twice just to get a room with a working hot water as it seems most rooms doesn't work. Last room we transfered to seems too small for what we paid for but we just accepted it out of no choice. not much choice of drinks for breakfast as well. only hot chocolate and coffee. when we ordered breakfast, we wanted hot chocolate but it was out of stock, unfortunately we don't drink coffee so we had no drinks for breakfast

Reasonable price, for relaxed travellers”
Suitable for relaxed travellers. Pool is clean and well maintained. Adventurous travellers will have to seek alternatives outside and nearby towns. Check with receptionist. Attentive staff will provide linens and towels when needed.
