Please note when booking a Double/Twin Room, it is possible that you will be staying in a 4 to 6 bed dorm. The remaining (bunk) beds will not be available for other guests. Please note that the beds are not made (except for the Comfort Double Room), but bed linen will be provided and guests are required to make their own bed upon arrival. Towels are available at a surcharge. Guests are requested to inform the property when children are coming along. This hostel is certified with the EU Ecolabel. Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed to stay in a shared room / dormitory. Guests aged 16 or 17 may also stay in a private room without being in the company of an adult, provided that they can present a filled consent form upon arrival at the hostel. Really budget and with premium price”
No towel or any amenities provided in the room. Booked a double bunk bedroom, no table in the room, only one chair, which we found it is a bit ridiculous. Breakfast quality and varieties are average. Once the hard boiled eggs are finished, they are finished. They won't make it again even though you asked them nicely.

Ok location, not so good room ”
I booked a solo room that was advertised with a large bed and given a completely different room. I was given a tiny room with two bunk beds, a bathroom that was two separate rooms within the room, and forced to put on and take off my own sheets. This was advertised as a hotel last year when I booked it. Nowadays you see no photos on the listing and when you arrive you find out it’s actually a hostel! It didn’t feel clean and the physical location while somewhat centered, is down a long sketchy street connected to a park with unsavory characters lurking around. The shower was weak. No towels shampoo or soap provided. You can hear your neighbors up down and side anytime they speak or move around. Worst of all, one day I was naked changing and an employee of the place walked in without knocking or warning. She stood there and stared for 30 seconds before leaving. When I told staff, they did nothing. This place is not worth the price. Look elsewhere.

I would recommend Stayokay for those who are seeking for quite place to stay. A distance walking to city center, but no tram station near (but close to bus station). I felt some dust on the floor, but it was still acceptable. All the facilities were clean, and so many rules to stay in this hostel.

Didn’t get what I was told”
I was told I would get a balcony with my room which I didn’t, the breakfast was very poor, no croissants available with continental breakfast nor scones. Mattress was like those you would see in a military camp or prison cell same with pillows but staff was excellent and smoking area outside front of building was quite nice and the park across from the hotel is quite nice too. Overall I think next time I return to Amsterdam il find a different hotel to fit the standard of money spent, because for just under 420 for 3 nights with breakfast for two I’m sure I could get more for my money if spent elsewhere closer to the destination I need.

The place was very nice. I loved the ambiance, the setup and everything else. The staff were very helpful from checking to checking out and even storing my luggage as my transfer to Belgium was late in the afternoon. It was just stressing to pull my luggage from the tram to the place.

Stayed at Stayokay Vondelpark 11th-14th September for my fiancé birthday. We stayed in block B, a private room for two and we were very impressed. The beds (although single!) were incredibly comfortable, the room was lovely and clean and the staff were amazing ! They even arranged for a special surprise for my Fiancés birthday on the Monday, putting a birthday card, a magnet and two vouchers for free drinks in our rooms. Couldn't of asked for more! Absolute perfect location, easy to find and just the perfect distance from everything. olaced within the park itself, it was the best "base" we could of asked for. Only a 5-10minute walk from a selection of great restaurants and shops. Would recommend visiting Rookie Cookies Coffee shop, not even 10mins away. Brilliant ! Can't wait to stay again, thank you to all the staff, especially Cecile, for making our stay so brilliant.

Loved my stay, it was very easy to check in and check out, no problems and not to mention great location. We had decently large cupboards for storage.
