Fantastic”
The service was out of this world literally, and reminded me of hotel service years ago, where staying in a 5 star hotel meant something special. The staff are extrmemely polite and attentive. I drop a fork, somone is on hand to hand me a clean one. My mums birthday and she gets a surprise cake. Lots of little touches like that. The staff work amazingly well together, and the place runs like a well oiled machine. Chapeau to the management! The courtyard area is great and the decor and swimming pool area are very well designed. The rooms are a great size, comfortable and clean. The nubian retauarant has amazinf Egyptian food. To say it was a pleasure to stay here would not be enough. Thank you to reception staff, Nubian restaurant staff and cleaning staff, and the chefs.

Great hotel and value for money ”
I feel like my stay this hotel was wonderful. The staff is so friendly everywhere in the hotel which I found not the case in most other Egypt hotels. Everyone here has a smile on their face and treats you in a welcoming way. We stayed here for the new years gala dinner which was spectacular. There was an incredible amount of food selection from sushi to meat carving to desserts. The entertainment was so fun - belly dancers, singers, DJ. They even had a finger food with free alcoholic cocktail welcome party before the dinner outside with balloons that fell from the sky and fireworks. Overall I was very impressed. Mufasa, the hotel manager, went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He needs to be praised for managing such a lovely hotel with customer satisfaction and comfort clearly his top goal. I never felt so taken care of. After steigenberger in Luxor and also in Cairo we moved to other hotel chains. I miss the Steigenberger style. Would highly recommend to anyone I know.

-staff genuinely friendly and help with concerns! felt safe as solo traveler. - 3 restaurants at hotel to choose from. never left hotel for food. - wifi not bad for egypt - clean rooms / beautiful pool and gorgeous nile view - tour company in hotel not very impressive. they are nice but experienced trips that are disorganized when booked with them. not at all impressive. they outsource to third parties and keep all the money. wasn't pleased. avoid them. otherwise great hotel stay and highly recommend!

An amazing stay”
After a two week extensive tour of Greece and Egypt it was a well deserved rest at this hotel. The staff were superb and helpful. I recommend getting an executive Nile view room for incredible sunsets. The wellness centre is great for massage, gym and a barber at a reasonable price. The hotel boasts a great pool, sun decking and easy access to a felucca. I tried all four restaurants onsite without any complaint. I will definitely return when in Luxor again.

Steigenberger is an excellent property with superb facilities at a beautiful location. The staff go out of their way to please their guests. Beautiful view of the Nile River from our Nile View room- totally felt it was worth the extra money. The pool was fantastic and we could relax after a hectic day of sightseeing. All in all, great location, well-equipped hotel with friendly staff. Great restaurants and service. What more can one ask for!

Beautiful hotel in downtown Luxor on the banks of the Nile. Room was clean and comfortable, pricing offered value for money, restaurants were excellent and the bar with outdoor terrace was a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. Staff were all courteous and very helpful. They also did a perfectly serviceable Christmas dinner!

Great hotel — good location & value for money!”
Hotel location is perfect — easy to locate with easy access to nearby museums and temples. They have good security and follows COVID19 protocols. We enjoyed the view of the Nile and they have lots of restaurant options to enjoy a sumptuous meal. Room was quite old and worn out but complete with amenities. We had a great stay and surely recommend this gem for a hassle free stay.

Such a wonderful stay, home away from home ”
This is my first time in Luxor. I came here after spending a few days in Cairo. The hotel grounds are spacious with great views of the Nile. The security staff are friendly and ensures your safety. The food at the restaurants are delicious and affordable. I particularly enjoyed the Thai restaurant at the hotel. I also really liked how they have shops located within the hotel so that you can get your shopping done right downstairs. Such convenience…..Had I known about such before hand I would not have shopped in Cairo. Shopping prices are much more affordable in Luxor. My favorite shop there is a wonderful and excellent quality spice, tea and oil shop across from where breakfast is served. The two brothers who run the shop are honest, genuine and kind. I love the organic essential oils for skin and body that they sell. Their prices are better than Cairo. They also have high quality spices and teas in that shop. Next time around, I would skip purchasing oils and perfumes in Cairo and get the oils from this shop instead. The price and the quality was exceptional. I ended up getting most of my presents and gift items from them. During my last day, I did not feel well, I went by the tea shop and Malek made me a nice cup of ginger cinnamon tea. I felt much better that evening. Definitely check them out if you stay here. Lastly, Wafaa at the spa is the one to ask for!
