Nice service and good location for your next train trip. Adequate room space with small window.. Quiet!! Best for your deep sleeping. Enough the consumables, shampoo, foaming soap. I also love their toothbrush and razor, that is provided for any guest. Good quality.

Old hotel but still charming”
This is really near the JR Shin-Osaka Station, you can walk to it, just use the JR新大阪駅東口 / EAST GATE exit using google maps. This is a small, old hotel but is OK for budget-friendly stays. We were able to do laundry (no need to bring detergent) but their drier will only work like 80% so you have to think on how to fully dry your clothes-- good thing we washed ours on our first night there. The room was small like any other Japanese hotels, it has the tub+shower combo with toilet. No complimentary water so buy some on their lobby store. There's hot water for coffee and instant noodles; microwave and seating area on the lobby. I think they also provide breakfast for like 500Yen but we were not able to try that. You can also have your itinerary printed with a small fee. There's electric kettle for water but you have to ask, no additional pay. They'll give you a night key as they lock their main door around 1am so always bring it.

Tiny rooms... but close to Shin-Osaka Station ”
This is a small hotel located right beside the Shin-Osaka Station. The neighborhood is very quiet owing to it being some kilometers away from the shopping district of Umeda. But being located next to train station makes getting around easy. Our group is travelling to Tokyo via Shinkansen after our stay in Osaka so this makes the location of the hotel superb. We don't have to crowd in the city trains with our baggage during rush hour. And we can leave our hotel at a later time since we are just a few steps away. Locating this hotel might be difficult at first but the trick here is to take the east exit and turn right on every street surrounding the station. The room we stayed in is really tiny. With just room for a decent-sized bed and not much else. For guests with many baggage or with big baggage, you really need to take turns opening your suitcase as some people have suggested. However, the rooms are clean and they provide near complete amenities (i.e toothbrush, razor, etc.) They have a breakfast buffet at 500 yen per person. For that price I believe the selection of food they offer is more than decent. The staff there spoke little English but there seems to be always one staff available that could handle most basic enquiries in English. They also have a couple of computers in the lobby for people to surf (for free) and they also have free wifi in their lobby. If I would return to Osaka, I would still stay in this hotel. The tiny rooms are just a little compromise in my opinion.

All good,budget hotel”
i think all service and room is good but i confuse about way to go. If you book this hotel and go via shin-osaka station (jr) make sure your exit True east gate (east exit at left side not going down at central east gate) then downstairs and go ahead to small road then turn right you will find this hotel

Great inn just out of the station”
This hotel was a great value for the location, just outside one of the more quiet exits of the Shin Osaka Station. Because there isn't much around near the hotel besides the station, there isn't a lot of traffic aside from the trains, and the surrounding area was really peaceful.

Simple business hotel close to the station”
the step inn is a small, no-frills japanese-style business hotel. it was about a five-minute walk from shin osaka station, which was good for the weary traveller with a suitcase. one of the two staff on duty spoke reasonable english. the check-in was processed quickly and after a quick demonstration of how to use the room key and a perusal of the personal hygiene products it was up the small elevator near the front door. my room was small and utilitarian. there was a wall-mounted lcd tv with only japanese channels, and tiny refrigerator next to the bed with a water heater to make coffee and tea on top, but two clocks, one on each side of the bed. the bathroom had towels and soap and was good enough for a one night stay. the bed was pretty solid. there was an air-conditioner above the bed. there are no restaurants next to the hotel, and the food on offer was of the instant-just-add-hot-water variety, but there are a few within ten minutes walk. hassle the staff to show you where since they're more interested in selling you instant noodles. don't believe them when they say there aren't any restaurants. if worse comes to worse, there are places to eat in shin osaka station. i checked out too early to sample the breakfast, but it smelled like a standard japanese-style one was being prepared; rice, miso soup, eggs, and so forth.

Incredibly close to the train station”
Finding the hotel as soon as we got to the Shin Osaka was a bit of a challenge, although its only a 2 minute walk from the station, you have to exit at the right place to get to the hotel. This is the East Exit, and by appearance looks like a back door to the station. After finding this route, there was no more problem. The staff were friendly and although didn't speak much english, they could be understood.

Exceptional”
This is a typical Japanese hotel. The room is small but good enough for a night or two. The main attraction is the short walk to Shin-Osaka station. If you're looking for a place to rest in between train trips, this is a great choice.

Steps from the Shin-Osaka Shinkansen”
This hotel was in an ideal location for us. Steps from the Shin-Osaka station which was one stop away from the downtown nightlife and perfect for our day trip to Nara. The bed was firm and comfortable. A couple things we noticed. The building seemed a bit worn and tired. The noise from the train station was unavoidable and kept me up. If you are sensitive to noise this might not be the hotel for you. This hotel is perfectly fine if you are in transit and are looking for a reasonably priced option.

Clean, near to train station but not shown in maps”
this seems to be a new hotel; the map at the train station shown many hotels around this area but not step-inn. had difficulty finding it, asked a local who asked another local and finally they helped us to call the hotel. however, once u know where it is, it is very convenient. just head for the east exit, take the lift down to ground floor. go around the lift such that you walk underneath the tracks, you'll see a bus-stop of sorts. look up, there is a school and step-inn is next to it. the room was clean, slightly bigger, and you can help yourself to the toiletries in the recep area.

It's good and convenient”
It was a little hard to find the exactly exit to the hotel, but if you found out the correct exit from the subway station, the distance from the hotel to the station was very short!! Good serveice, and the water pressure was strong. The 1F was a small convenient store, and there was a good non-smoking place I stay. Besides, the Shin-osaka station was also a good place for shopping, so you can find enough usual needs there.
