Acceptable”

They messed up with the bookings, so when I arrived my booked room was already given to someone else and they didn't have any vacant rooms left (the kind of room I booked). First they made me wait past 2pm (the check in time was supposed to be 12 noon) and I only had 1 day on the island. Then they offered me to pay an extra P600 to move me to an aircon room (which would make it double the original price total). A decent host would give an upgrade for free as a sorry for their mistake, right? The other option they offered was to move me to another resort without any extra pay (since the room there costs the same as the room I booked), so I went with that. I managed to check in at almost 3pm. The room wasn't nice, yellow chunks of dirt/dust were falling down from the fan, bathroom wasn't that clean also and the toilet flush was broken. But at least I didn't have to search for another resort myself, so thanks for that.

Perfect Location”

Not beach front but still good 3-5mins walk to the beach. Theres a lot of restaurants around the area.

Good location ”

Location is good. Just a few minutes walk to Kota beach and MJ square. They also offer motorcycle rental for 300 pesos (cheaper than outside). We had very minimal problem with water system (water stopped but was repaired immediately) but did not matter since we were mostly outside. The entire house is silent or maybe there were just no loud guests at that time so sleeping at night was peaceful. Overall our stay was a perfect getaway from the city hustle and bustle.

Very good”

The door knob on our room is broken. It's hard to open with a key, you have to be patient in opening it and doors must be opened easily without giving too much effort. That stressed us because we went their to rest and that's what we have to face.

The room was very clean and quiet. If you want to relax, this place is it. It's also close to the beach, you can just walk or take a trike. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They also offer personal tours

Owners Attention to details error”

They let us stay in their outside waiting area for several minutes because they thought that our booking is for that day, knowing that we book this prior night to guarantee early check in. If I did not tell them to check our booking details again, they won’t let us check-in early. Also the staff who is cleaning the area is not so helpful, keeps on telling us that we need to wait because the owner is still sleeping. The room is good though for the value of money, but don’t expect free toiletries even towels are not provided. They won’t allow you to bring your slippers inside so you have to walk barefoot inside the house. I can say that the area is clean except that the staff is not willing to help and no toiletries and towels provided

Facilities and Electric Kettle”

Facilities - No shower heater during cold weather. But, it's sometimes good to take a bath with cold shower but not quite good in the morning or rainy season. The place is quiet and nature friendly. The staff is accomodating and helpful. The electric kettle should be provided for the guest to help themselves to get a coffee anytime they want.

The location is perfect just few meters away from the port of Sta.Fe. Restaurants and beaches aren't too far and the staffs are exceedingly helpful and hospitable . ROOMS ARE CLEAN . BUDGET FRIENDLY 😍

CHEAP BUT AMAZING ACCOMMODATION”

First of all, I love the hospitality of the people in Stevrena Cottages. The friendly staff and Ate Dulce who's been helping us a lot. The location was indeed good since it's just 10mins away from the port and an 8-10 mins walk to the restos and market. I met new friends also. My cousin and I rented a motorbike for 300 PHP (whole day use). The place was clean and you can even use the utensils. Thank you Stevrena, I'll be back, soon.

Best and most affordable decent cottages in Bantayan Island. One thing that I like is the place is secure and its near to most establishments in town. No need to worry of where to dine and unwind.

The location is good because from Bantayan Port we just walked going to Stevrena, we saved 60 pesos not riding a tricycle. From Stevrena, it is just a 5minute walk going to MJ Square to eat and around 10minutes going to Kota Beach. There is a shared toilet and bathroom outside the rooms on the same floor. If you will just sleep in the room like what we did, this is the Best place for you. They also have an air-conditioned room if you want. The staffs are very accommodating especially Ate Dulce and Kuya Vice. Thank you to them and Agoda for this wonderful accommodation and we had a great tour in Bantayan Island! 😊

いつも一人旅では安宿を利用している。このホテルは2回目の利用。前回は二階の角部屋、今回は一階に宿泊した。一階のシャワー室とトイレは日本人の感覚だと常軌を逸している。シャワーは壊れていたので バケツに水を溜め行水スタイル。しかも蚊だらけ、ベッドはダニが生息していたようだ。 でも安いので割り切れる方なら大丈夫。
