Great homestay with excellent breakfast”
The homestay is located slightly outside the city center and surrouded by palm trees and banana plantantions. House and rooms are beautiful and the owners very nice. We could take bikes for free to go to the city center which was not far away (20 min by foot, 5 min by bike). It was a great experience to ride a bike through the streets of Hoi An, which are often not as crowded with people as in other cities as motorbikes and cars are baned from the city center most of the time. For breakfast (included in the room charge) you can chose one dish and one drink of a menu. The banana pancakes are highly recommendable. Additionally, fresh local fruits are served for free. We enjoyed our stay in Strawberry Garden Homestay and Hoi An very much and would highly recommend this homestay to other travellers in Vietnam, also for a longer stay in the city! Thank you =)

I stayed for three nights at Strawberry Garden Homestay last July and I highly recommend it. Although it is a bit far away from the old town of Hoi An it´s still worth staying. Rooms are clean newly built and the staff is very friendly. Probably the best place I stayed in Vietnam. P.S: yes, delicious pancakes.

Our best stay in Vietnam!”
Strawberry Garden homestay is the best place we've stayed in South East Asia. For only $21.50(NZD) we had clean spacious rooms, comfy beds, fridge, cable TV. Breakfast is included and was a choice of pancake or eggs served with Vietnamese coffee & a fruit platter. The banana pancake is delicious! The family are so kind and helpful organising any transport, day trips etc. I also have to say they did our laundry ($30k per kg) and it came back the cleanest it has on our whole trip. Can not recommend this place enough, just disappointed the rest of our accommodation won't be this good!

Best Homestay around!”
This place is Amazing. I can not say enough good things about this place, the family who runs it, or the receptionist (Duy) who is willing to help out with any questions you might have. The family invited me to lunch and exposed me to local food I would never have tried on my own. The breakfast is spectacular and comes with many options. A bicycle is included with your stay which makes Ancient Town and the Beach accessible within minutes. Motorbikes are also available for rent on the cheap, which I highly recommend taking advantage of with My Son Sanctuary nearby (a must see!). Fast internet, quiet and spacious rooms, food options within walking distance and a loveable fluffy white dog makes this homestay the ideal place to stay while in Hoi An!

Our favorite stay in Vietnam”
We stayed here for 5 nights (booked 3 in advance and extended for 2 more afterwards). We loved the room with balcony, the long mornings in the garden, the beautiful bicycle drives late at night from the down centre and between the rice fields during the day, the evening lights/lanterns in the garden... It’s also only a few kilometres to the beach area. It was the best time from the 3 weeks period we stayed in Vietnam. We really enjoyed the breakfast too – my favourites were pancakes with banana and mango filling which I covered with fresh passionfruit and other fruits they serve with meal. On the other hand my husband always said good words about omelet. And cup of Vietnamese coffee is a must! The staff is very helpful and polite. There are free bikes for you every day, they can also book you a tour or organise a motorbike if you would like to. We had an early flight from Da Nang airport. They advised us about transport, and leaving times to the airport. Also, they woke up at 4:30 to prepare a breakfast for us.

we, 8guys stayed this homestay and i'd like to say it was one of the best. the hotel owner and staff were so kind and warm heart. i've been to many countries, many hotels and guesthouse, i bet this was one of the best. so peaceful place and reach any places easily by bike. i feel it's like my home, my family. i miss this homestay already and i bet i'll stay here next time

Nice homestay family and staff are very nice and attentive to your needs.. Lovely fairy family dog to welcome me everytime i camre back to property. Breakfast nice omlete fruit coffee.. Free bikes not fa from old town 8 minutes on bike 15 minuts on bike to beach... I recommmend it to other people..

We felt at home. Beautiful place to enjoy the relaxing side of Vietnam. The staff is amazing. The breakfast in the garden was the best one during the whole stay in Vietnam. The room was very clean and comfortable. We hope to come back and stay longer next time.

Very good sized room with a comfortable bed and a well equipped ensuite bahroom. Very nice breakfast eaten in the garden and a twenty minute stroll to beautiful Hoian Ngoc was extremely helpful from our first contact by email and throughout our stay.

Great hospitality good breakfast”
our stay was good. Breakfast very delicious. The location is a bit outside but with the bikes is the old quarter reachable within 5 minutes. The staff is friends and very helpful but the staff is not well informed about further travel organization! So we had to take shortly an expensive flight and had to take another night there which was in our opinion overcharged. All in all we can recommend this nice homestay and would go there again.

A lovely quiet homestay in beautiful Hoi An”
Highly recommended. The staff were wonderful with our young children, the common area was comfortable, the WiFi was good enough for Skype phone calls, the breakfasts were great. Free tea and coffee available all day and access to a well maintained kitchen for cooking. The room was spacious and comfortable with an excellent shower and a bath. The location is good, being halfway between the old town and the beach, both easily accessible by bicycle (5-10mins). Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Thank you.

Fine - no more, no less”
I very rarely leave reviews but felt we should as we decided to stay here based on the amazing reviews and were a bit disappointed. We’re a couple travelling for 6 months in a back/flashpacker budget so have realistic expectations of somewhere in this price range but our first room was not good. It was so damp the bedding was damp to the touch and it smelt really musty and the bed and sheets were not clean (dust, hair and tiny bugs) on the sheets and under the pillows and there were a lot of flies in the bathroom. As it was late we just went to bed but asked for a new room in the morning. To be fair the staff sorted this quickly and gave us the family room no problem which was much better, less damp, cleaner and less flies. The breakfast was good and location and bikes were good but to be honest I would find somewhere else to stay if I were coming back.

It has been one the best hotels we have been. We felt very comfortable, not only because of the nice place, but also because of the staff and the owners that made us feel like at home. They were very aware about us. They offered every kind of facilities, thus we solved every need with them. We felt like home and we will return when coming back to Vietnam.
