Underrated ”

The staff was great! The room itself was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed. The room was quiet too, which was our reason for moving from a hotel that was pretty much next door. The location and the view were both really good as well. I would stay there again.

The hotel is good but the problem is with Agoda, I left a note of my special requests upon paying for the rooms but they neglect to inform the hotel that we will be checking in early. We arrived at 8am and had to wait til 2pm to check in our rooms. So much hassle on our part and so much time was wasted. Better be looking for another app to book an accommodation next time.

The front desk has been incredibly nice and helpful and was very helpful. Parking is adequate. Hotel was very clean as well as the beach, swimming pool & room. The breakfast was better than what I expected. Though we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, other than sleeping but it left a great impression on us! Our sheets, towels and surfaces of desk, counter and bathroom were all regularly cleaned during our stay . Nice beachfront hotel and easy access to city..love place to stay❤️

Nice place & view. Service meh”

The room was nice, view was great. The AC has difficulty keeping room cool even at night. At night we did have a cockroach in the room but it's normal for the area. Service needs done tuning. The bell boy did not ask/off to carry bags. He then lingered a bit (I'm guessing expecting a tip). When we ate at restaurant the waiter was quick to arrive when we first sat and took our order for drinks but then it seemed they forgot we were there. It was like that for the entire time. Very slow, very.

Property is ran down. ”

We have stayed many times in the past, but it appears as though minimal maintenance is being preformed. Starting to look shabby. No lock box available. Great staff, but I despise the way they use training as a means of having free labor. We had several excellent meals there. Sea food platter on of the best. They never have understood the American love of coffee. How hard is it to get a carafe? Other properties offer the same price for a nicer room.

It's OK but better stay elsewhere”

The staff are very good. Nice area to sit out under shade cover for relax, food, drink and gaze out to the sea. Nice pool. The standard room is too small and has no chair, pick a bigger one. Food portions are huge. I got bedbugs in my room, so bitten badly in the night. Location is a long walk to the Barretto bars and moderate walk to the beach (no beach at the hotel). Better stay closer to the action you are looking for.

Could do a lot better”

The place is aged and needs some attention. Lacks a proper leader to bring it all together. Food is good but service is poor. The hotel was empty and I got a room with no windows, (we had 6 rooms) they refused to move me next door as it was a higher class and wanted me to pay USD40 more per day. All our other 5 rooms had a view. Be careful even if you get a higher class room you might end up without windows. Like we did.

Worst holiday experience ever”

Cannot begin to express my sadness at the experience I had at this so called establishment. Things did get off to rocky start at the booking stage as it all seemed to change from the moment I booked to payment day. I would never pay AUS 70 for a room over an eight day period. I tried to sort this out with Agoda but to no avail. Anyway, the room had no fridge, no coffee making facilities, no safe, power went off on a regular basis, wifi was rubbish, electrical fittings were an OH & S issue, pool was closed for a day, beach access was shut, kitchen took 25 mins to make a bowl of oil ridden fries, shower was dirty, cabinets were chipped and damaged, and you were lucky to get into the room as the lock was faulty. So after 3 nights of an eight night stay we went to a place 100 meters down the road, 1000 times better and cheaper and went back to Manila 2 days early. This was a $10 a night room..not $70...truly horrible.

Awful”

I would not recommend this resort to anyone. there are plenty of better options in the Subic/ Olongapo area. the hotel is painted a tasteless shade of blue which is peeling and rusting in numerous places. Our rooms were standard but extremely small with no refrigerator or tea making appliances - all designed by the management to force you to eat in their restaurant. I did not have the courage to eat there because of the bad reviews and the absence of any customers, indicating that the word had got out. Aside from the cramped accommodation the place is plastered with signs warning you not to bring food or drink in, which is really annoying. My nine year old son was questioned carrying a paper bag from 7/11 and warned not to bring food in - really ridiculous. The resort is on the bay but there is a virtual absence of beach between the building and the start of the salt water. if for some reason you find yourself there book for only one night and look for something better.

I was dissappointed in this hotel.”

My New Year will not be complete if i was not able to go on a trip with my family on New Year or after New Year since It is also my wedding Anniverssary on the 3rd day of January. It was a big mistake to be booked in Subiza Hotel. These are the following transpired in the hotel: 1. Ok 2 big rooms is ok but if your particular with the smell and cleanliness, it seems that after the celebration of new year with the previous guest is you can still smell the used pillow case and probably the used bed sheet. 2. The plastic in the trash bin probably is replaced but the traces of toothpaste and other stuff you can see on the surface of the trash bins. 3. The smell in the bathroom is the smell of a pee that was not proplerly flush or have cleaned for so long. 4. The air con is broke and the staff told that is centralized and you cannot control the tempetature. Hence you have to manually flip up the windows of air con up in order to lessen the freezing temperature of it. Not a good hotel.

Few parking space. They took advantage on the super peak season. We checked in april 18-19 for 2 deluxe room & 1 executive room(no breakfast) They informed us that for the extra person we need to pay 1000 pesos/head and another 1000pesos for a extra single bed or 1500pesos of the double bed. Also, the food service is too slow. They gave us wrong order and need to wait for another 30 mins before the food arrives..

esn't auto renew so u have to sign in every 4 hours, lame, You pay 3 star price for a 1 star room. Bathroom was full of cob webs I asked front desk to clean it , they didn't so I cleaned myself. This is a $30 a night hotel at best, anymore spent is wasted money, my first and last time here. Mangrove next door is few bucks more and much nicer place toasty at and eat and kayaks are free and they dont charge 10% SC to ur food bill. Other places near by as well for better value than what Subiza offers u. They have bands that play music here every night from 7 till midnight and its annoyingly loud ifu want to rest up during that time so ur stuck listening to it all night. Message to the owners of this place: ,buy a $35 AP and make wifi operable in all the hotel it's not that difficult to do. I'm here for 6 days I'd gladly wire it up for you at no charge. The rooms can use some TLC specially some basic inexpensive updates in the bathrooms will make it look nicer. The rooms are not cleaned w
