Find hotels near Sudirman in Jakarta, Indonesia

This grand old lady is an old favourite- having gone through some difficult and neglected times in the period 1999 to 2012. We spent a very pleasant week in this "home away from home" last month. The staff were fabulous - warm and friendly and at the same time totally professional. Breakfast was outstanding. If you are up on a Sunday morning, make sure you join the vehicle free walk on Sudirman - a fantastic community event. The MRT stop couldn't be closer making the Sahid one of the most accessible hotels in Jakarta! (Hasn't Jakarta changed for the better in the last 5 years - cleaner and less traffic problems!)

Stayed for 1 night with my family. Booked 2 rooms. At first they put us in a non connecting room, but then we requested for a connecting room, and they provided quickly. Great location, near sudirman street, so you can walk to the car free day if you're staying on sunday. The room is ok, fast wifi connection, great pool and gym. For accommodating family with young children they should provide a kids club. Breakfast needs a little more variety, but overall it's great. Happy to stay there again.

Benhil is a very central location for Jakarta and is convenient to get to other areas of the city like Senayan, Slipi, Sudirman etc. Batavia Apartments are great value for around a night, you get a fully equipped apartment with kitchen, lounge room and separate bedroom. the pool area that links the two towers is very nice, and there is an adequate gym. Pretty good service and breakfast make it overall great value.

Located just behind Palza Semanggi Mall, the hotel/serviced apartment is strategically located along JL Sudirman, the main business road, thus near business establishments. For cheap food and basic necessity (groceries), Plaza Semanggi has it. It also has a fitness first. Beside the hotel also is Siloam Hospital. It is easy to get a taxi as the hotel will help call for one. The rooms need to be refurbished but it is spacious. It has a living room, a kitchen, a laundry room and a veranda. Security is tight also as there are a lot of foreign natioals staying there also. Room came with buffet breakfast so definitely worth it.

Before booking this hotel I had read few reviews from Agoda clients stayed before. So I had a pretty good idea what to expect. It turned out to be better than what i was expecting. 1st, the offer which we got from Agoda for getting best rate for the club floor with Breakfast etc. 2nd, separate checking in and out for us on club floor.Free snacks, drinks and discounts on laundry. Would definately use Agoda for future visits.

It was my first time staying at this place and surely it wouldn't be the last. This 5-star property was situated in a very prime location (Sudirman Road) yet it was one of the lowest 5-star hotels in the city. The winning factor was the size - it was a very spacious one bedroom apartment space (not a typical hotel room). Imagine having all the 5-star facilities with a space. The only drawback was the breakfast place - it was small and there was just basic varieties offered. I guess it was not a major issue since you have have the freedom to have your own breakfast inside the unit, utilising the full set kitchen.

The hotel is located in small street with various names (perhaps either the map or the hotel uses older name), so it is very difficult to find. Even taxi driver had trouble finding it. However, once you knew where it is, it is actually very conveniently located, as it is only a few minutes walk to one of the most famous street in Jakarta, i.e., the Sudirman street. The room is standard, though felt a bit old.

The best 5 star hotel in jakarta, as expected the hotel service was superb, all the hotel employees was nice and accomodative, the service is excellent. I stayed at the grand deluxe room, the room is big and the best hotel bathroom in jakarta, the bathroom is big, and nice. The food is high quality and enough selection. I think that the hotel is live up to expectation.

shangri la delivered its standard 5-star service. the lobby is beautfiul with amazingly intricate flower arrangements, multiple restaurants to satisfy every mood, etc. we stayed on new year's eve (2011) and the place was fully booked. despite being full, the place was not crowded. we did not want to join the new year's eve party (1.7 million ruphias) because we felt it would be crowded and loud (and it was). but we were able to have a lovely, romantic dinner in our room courtesy of room service. there is very little one can find wrong with shangri la. perhaps what stood out the most for us was that since it has very high security, the staff in charge of monitoring the entrance of guests are impersonal and it can get old (and annoying) when one steps for one second outside and then is forced to go through the x-ray machine and put one's bags and handbag through the x-ray machine even though all the staff saw us stepping outside to say goodbye to a friend. the breakfast buffet was impressive but very impersonal. because the hotel was fully booked, they set up the largest ballroom as the venue for breakfast on new year's morning. it was so big one had difficulty finding things, but there were plenty of staff to direct us to what we needed. in short, if you want perfect 5-star service delivered professionally (read that impersonally), this is the right place for you. but if you enjoy things a bit more laid back and interacting with friendly and warm staff, you won't find that there. btw, we have stayed in many 5-star hotels. but this one felt "stiffer" than most. it may be the security issue, but somehow the place lacked "soul."

I think I'll stay here again. There is a lift (so if you bring heavy luggage like mine you don't need to dragged it. The sink tap is broken, so the water drop below (not much, but made the floor flood). I don't really care about it. The soap was like hand soap. My concern is the receptionist almost like a ghost 😂 mostly i couldn't find her. even in my last day, though i told her that i am going to check out early in the morning. Then no one there. need to call the phone number on desk, it turns out the receptionist was still sleeping. addition, you can just walk to lotte shopping avenue. the traffic in front of this hotel is so bad
