Suites You Zinc
Good location bad everything else”
Location was great once you actually found the apartments which is away from reception. The check in was informative and the receptionist spoke English extremely well. Lift was a little small two person or one person and suite case. The cleanliness of the apartment was questionable certainly not to my standard. Remember to wash the dishes BEFORE you use them as well as before you leave. Side note - maybe ask for a clean dish drying towel and a second bin liner at check in.
Great location average apartment”
If you want a fantastic location but average apartment this is the place for you. We were a little disappointed with the standard of the apartment. No toaster, no broom, no mop & the floors were quite dirty and dusty when we arrived. We arrived at 12 noon and asked to come back at 2pm. The first female staff member that checked us in was good, helpful, friendly and spoke good English. When we went back at 2pm we were told our apartment was in a different area. When I asked the male staff member how to get there he said he did not know. He gave us the keys & said turn left then right & you find it. This obviously was not super helpful after a 14 hour flight. The key did not have very good information on it or any directions. But eventually we found it. There were 5 floors in this building, the lift only stopped on Floors 1,2. & 5. We were staying on floor 3. The cooking facilities were just adequate, however a big fridge. The size of the apartment was ok for 4 adults & 1 child.
Fantastic apartment-hotel in Madrid”
Great location near to almost everything in Madrid by foot or by the Metro. The facility has lift but it doesn’t go to all floors. So, depending on your allocated room, you may need to use the stairs for your luggage. The room is extremely spacious with a kitchenette. The only drawback is the reception desk is not in the same building. You need to walk further about 2-3 minutes to the reception.
good location but bed is not hotel standart”
suprise with good location and spacious room but dissapointed with bed which is like bunk bed and we almost fall down everytime we sleep
The reception is hard to find but once there the staff are great, very friendly and helpful. The apartment had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lounge-dining area with a large flat screen tv. Step out the front door and be surrounded by cafes and shops. A 50 metre walk and be in the middle of Porta Del Sol, one of the mains squares in Madrid. The apartment is easy walking to the major attractions, shops and the old tearooms which I highly recommend. Maybe the only downsides are, no lift which may be a problem for the old or disabled and although the water was very hot it ran out quickly, so timing the showers is important. The price is fantastic, especially for the location. I would definitely stay there again
had a great days”
If there was a lift in that building, it would have been much better. But still i had a great time resting and relaxing lol
Good location but no lift”
Comfortable and good location, but there's no lift
plus: very quiret, located next to plaza del Sol, ”
Cons: Interior was not well organized and it was necessary to re orginize the furniture's to use the TV. There was no hairdryer, but the staff solved the problem the next day. There was no daylight in the Flatt as it was located in the bag of the building. However if you prefer silence in the nighttime, this is a compromise you will have to make, and we where pleased with that choice. Pros: The WiFi was running smooth and the TV was able to connect to the USB we had with us for watching movies. In general a place we would return to if we was to visit Madrid again.
opps, no elevator.”
Location is close the subway. Many resturant and store near the hostel. I used third floor , but no elevator. I was very tired.
Room for improvement”
Location is indeed good as vodafone sol metro station is the main interchange of all connecting lines. The apartments allocated was a street away from the reception, thus we have to lug our luggages all the way back. No lift, it's really no joke to carry heavy luggage up 3rd storey (and 5th for my other couple friend). As our apt was located near the main street, be prepared for rowdy party goers at night. It was also a challenge for 5 of us to share bathroom that comes with a drum heater. It was like a ration supply of only 5mins use of bathroom before the water gets chilled! Not recommended for group travellers.
great location and convenient to move around”
this apartment is strategically located in the downtown of Madrid. most tourist stayed around here. plenty of restaurant for food. near and convenient for train station
centrally located, small with poor venitlation”
This is really an apartment. It has a tiny kitchen and our room included a washer (but no dryer was evident). Very poor ventilation, so difficult to cool the room or get the steam out of the bathroom. Beds and bedding were adequate. No lift means lots of stair climbing, so pack light unless you want some serious exercise. Room was quiet. Air conditioning units were weak and one of them stopped working while we were there.
Very good value apartelle. Located in the centre of Sol. Millions of shops and restaurants around this hotel. There are 2 major shopping malls too. Clean and spacious. Staff are ok but not very helpful and friendly. They assist in check-in but that's the last interaction you will have with them. No elevator in this hotel. The rooms are located on the 4th floor of the building and the climb is exhausting especially if you are carrying luggages. There is no housekeeping service. The beds/pillows are not very comfortable too.
Lots of shops around the area.”
Clean rooms. No elevator so we need to take stairs going to the 4th level.
Great appartment & location”
only thing to consider is to allow enough time between showers to allow water to heat
good self-catering apartment”
room was a bit cramped and bathroom was tiny. however, adequate and comfortable enough for a short stay to tour the city.
Unbeatable location and amenities”
The apt itself was fine and clean, everything I possibly could want in an apartment. The location is especially ideal. Service was very friendly. The only glitch was that the wifi was broken and I had to go back and forth between the apt and the office to resolve, due to lack of a courtesy phone. Also upon departure we reserved a taxi with the help of the apartment managrment staff, who quoted me a price of 35€; upon arrival at the airport, I found the driver asking almost twice the amount. So I'm not sure where the miscommunication was, as I had 35€ written on a piece of paper by the staff.
this is a nice hotel with a medium budget, in right central of madrid with right next to city square and royal palace , but the room seem to be so small
