Cheap, not cheerful”
The location was good and you'd wake up every day to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. We paid 200idr to go on the organised boat snorkel trip which was a highlight as we saw manta rays, however the equipment was leaking. It is very noisy at night from a nearby bar. The outsidetoilet and shower were tatty and you'd share the shower with the local wildlife - mosquitos, geckos and even a cockroach! Overall it was cheap and budget. The rooms were very dark, as the beach hut was made from dark wood and there was inadequate lighting. I wouldn't recommend, unless you're on a tight budget and don't mind a basic set up.

we extended our stay twice!”
Suka is family run and this makes it a really friendly environment to stay. We are backpackers and this provided a really great, spacious, comfy place to stay- so much so that we changed from 2 nights to 5 nights stay. Suka suits all types of travellers as we were surrounded by couples and families. There is no pool but this isnt a problem as the sea is gorgeous and there are lots of restaurants with pools nearby. Suka and his family were very friendly sorting us out with scooters and boat trips etc. we loved chilling in our hammocks

Exceptional”
Suka Beach Bungalows are a quiet paradise. Set right on the beach, a number of bungalows are cleverly facing the water and not directly looking at each other. Clean, airy, beautiful Balinese style but with modern luxuries like aircon & fridge. No pool means this is a peaceful haven and not a party joint. Why have a pool when the place faces "the biggest pool in the world" - the gentle lagoon fringed with coral reefs, right out the front?! I didn't want to leave and the staff are lovely.

Simple but genuine ”
Loving staff with cosy bungalows with space for reflection in the genuine surroundings. The bungalows were located pretty much on the beach with restaurants and boat rides just around the corner.

Very good”
The location is brilliant. We had a seaview Bungalow. However, inside the Bungalow it was very dark and during the day the aircon did not work, so no Siesta possible. The staff is very friendly and helps where they can.

good location, nice friendly place”
We stayed at suka for 6 nights which was more then enough, the family and suka the owner were very friendly and helpful. Rented a scooter from them which was around 70000 a day. Breakfast was great. Restaurants close by were amazing. Would recommend it.

Great place to stay but the overbook.”
The location and facilities were great. The upstairs of the beach view rice barn style rooms can be a little stuffy and the out door showers mean you need to be careful where you stand so as not to flash your neighbors but the hammocks and beach views easily offset this. Our only real complaint is we had to move around because they apparently double booked our room. Looks like this happens fairly often here.

Very disappointing”
Although we were only two people, we had booked a big family bungalow (the most expensive room category) since for our travel data it was the only available accomodation type with aircon and seaview. We had decided on Suka Beach Bungalow because we wanted a nice accomodation with seaview for the last few days of our trip to Indonesia. What we got was the bungalow with the biggest distance to the beach and it also had no sea- but garden view. Although there were several other bungalows available, which had a much better view, the manager could not provide any satisfying solution. We then stayed one night in a smaller bungalow with at least a bit of a sea view, but moved to a different hotel resort the next day, since the bungalow was very dirty and we felt not very comfortable there. For the three nights we had paid in advance, we were not offered any refund. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Great stay! ”
My mom and I stayed here for three nights and had a great time. The bungalows are right on the beach, we could see the ocean from our balcony. The bungalows are nice (make sure to check if you opt for fan or AC) - we went for the fan and while it would get a little stuffy in the heat of the day inside the bungalow, we were always nice and cool at night. We also did a morning snorkeling trip and the boat picked us up right on the beach which was awesome. Definitely recommend it and for a whole bungalow to yourself- the price just can't be beat!
