Tria Hotel, i could say people are very nice, very accommodating, good services. First thing when we check in Mr. Arhan was in the reservation that time, He give the best service. On our arrival he offer something to drink while re-confirming our booking, after he arranged, he asked if its our first time then we said yes. He offer us the best tour that tourist dont missed it and that was fantastic. 2nd we we enter the room its not according to my booking wich is sea view so he moved us the room where we will enjoy our stay. Thank you tria for having a very good staff, even the bill boy, the waiter, specially in the restaurant, they even provide people who can translate english. Most of thier staff understand english. Place is not in the center but if you are looking for full assistant, they will do it for you. Highly recommended and we gonna stay again with my children.

Location of this hotel is superb! Only 2-3 minutes walking away from Sultanahmet gardens, where you will directly access to Hagia Sophia and The Blue Mosque. I was traveling with my 79 yo Mother, using a wheelchair occasionally. We booked triple room type to get extra space for our luggages and her wheelchair. Room has window but the view was in fact decorated wall. Bedroom was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom with shower cubicle was clean. Our toilet bowl was a bit of a problem as the water kept running after we flushed but technician managed to fix it. Breakfast variety was great for us! They alternate eggs menu every other day, which was good for us. Staffs were helpful and friendly, as they were trying their best for us to check in, especially by look at my old mother who needed to rest and refresh upon our arrival at the hotel. Overall our experience was great! We liked the hotel, we recommend it to friends and family. Thank you!

This hotel is centrally located if visiting the Old City sights is your main aim. The breakfast terrace - with views of the Sultanahment mosque and the sea - is a pleasant place to start the day, or to lounge at any time. Our room was neat and impeccably clean, with a great view of the Sultanahmet mosque. The neighbourhood is quiet (except for the calls to prayer) as it's at the quieter end of the Hippodrome, but within easy reach of all other areas of the city.

I have stayed at this hotel perhaps ten times or more in the last 2 years when i am passing through Istanbul. The hotel has excellent facilities including a gym, and the rooms are very clean, well decorated and have a luxurious feel. The staff speak English fluently, and are very helpful. Breakfast is on the top floor, and this offers good views of the sea of marmara. It offers both Turkish breakfast and continental breakfast options. There is a lift to every floor. The location is pretty good - the Sultanahmet mosque is 5 minutes walk away, but i would caution that it is down a fairly steep hill from the mosque, and it would be not ideal for the over 75s. If you want to shop or visit a restaurant, there are literally a hundred restaurants and plenty of tourist shops within a few minutes walk. It is convenient to get to, being just off Kennedy Street, which follows the coast from Attaturk airport to the Galata Bridge.

It's my first time in istanbul and but the last time in my next visit for Bon hotel. My booked room was superior double room but they gave us a standard double room and said that's the big room in the hotel and they will changed it after two days but not happened and i asked two times later for my problem and they said that tomorrow manager will solve it but no one helped me so never trust the pictures of the site. But it's a good choice for its location in the middle of old city beside hagia sofia, sultanahmet, gulhane park, top kapi palace and grand bazar. Five minutes walking you will be in gulhane tram station. Cleaning is not good its about changing bed sheets only. Breakfast is standard and basic but fresh and delicious. It's suitable for who is coming to explore the city and the hotel for just sleeping zone.

Aprilis hotel is near to sultanahmet destination tourist location such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc. The staff is very helpful and generous. We are family with kids. We book double economy room but they upgrade the room to standard room without any charge. We extended our stay in this hotel until 3 days more because we like staying here and satisfied with the hotel.

Had a great experience staying for 3 nights at Megara Palace. The hotel is perfectly located at the best place in Sultanahmet. Since it is an old house converted to a boutique hotel, the rooms are small but they were nicely decorated... Housekeeping was very good... The hospitality was simply amazing and won our hearts... The roof top cafe had a beautiful view overlooking panoramic Bosphorus....the breakfast was just perfect.... Only there was no choice of eggs and you have to eat only boild eggs (a feedback for the management) Special mention to the manager John, who takes personal initiative to be a tour guide for the guest for free and extremely helpful... The simles of the people will really make you feel at home... A very positive recommendation to stay at Megara in Sultanahmet, Istanbul...

We had a hard time finding this hotel using our map from the airport, but it is within a 15 min walk from the Sultanahmet streetcar station. When we checked in for our double room, they had put us into a family room (two singles + a double bed)in the basement level. It smelled like cigarette smoke so I asked for another room. The staff looked around but the only other option was quite a small room so we decided to stick with the first one they gave us. Nonetheless, they came again a few hours later to offer another alternate room which had opened up as well as offered to move us the next day if we wanted. Very helpful that way! They also helped clear things up when we had a misunderstanding about how we were to pay for our turkish bath experience. The afternoon/evening gentleman in building B is just that, quite a gentleman and so very courteous! There is bottled water available free in the lobby and an excellent breakfast with wonderful choices, though in winter when you aren't using the patio the eating area is quite small. The bedding was very nice and both the bathroom and bedroom quite new and nice.

My wife and our young son were there for only a few days so we wanted to stay somewhere central. Hotel Lady Diana was a 5 - 10 min walk from the main attractions (Blue Mosque / Hagia Sophia / Cistern / Bazaar). Rooms were comfortable, relatively modern and the staff were very friendly. The view from the restaurant at the top is breathtaking, you can literally plan the days tour from there. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel decor is gorgeous everywhere. Family Room is spacious but there was only one bed. Extra mattresses were provided on the floor not sofa beds. Jacuzzi was unfortunately spoilt when we checked in and they didn't compensate. Breakfast was great but they need to keep food warm. Hotel is located about 10 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, 15 minutes walk to the Sultanahmet tram station but if you intend to explore Istanbul till late, the alleyways to the hotel can be quite dark and quiet but then again we were there during off season.

Tha hotel ıs not bıg but convenıetly located close to the beautiful sights like Sultanahmet Mosque and Aya Sofiya museum. Walking distance to the beautiful Gulhane park. If you don't mind the narrow ancient streets its a nice place to stay. Lots of inexpensive places to eat near by. The food is delicious by the way. I reserved one room with balcony and sea view. After having a very bad experience with another hotel in Laleli area for the same price.The hotel is small , no lobby but it was just painted , clean and renovated. Staff was very friendly. There is not elevator or lift but we didn't mind to take stairs. Overall if you are looking to save some money on hotel this is the one. Thank you.

A lovely small hotel. The staff were fantastically helpful with recommendations, even making reservations and calling airlines for us. Even the cleaning staff went over and above expectations. The hotel an easy walk to Sultanahmet and from the terrace you have great views of both the ocean and the Blue Mosque. My only disappointment was that our room (#1) was on the ground floor, so we did not have the view other rooms, higher up, had.

Ideal Location -1 min walk to sultan ahmet square (5-10 mins walk to blue mosque) . ideal for families or small groups as they had 5 beds in the family suite i booked . (double and single bed in main bedroom) and three singles in lounge kitchen area. This was on the ground floor . had a sink, fridge , kettle and a microwave. Kept very clean and room service was good. Beds were comfortable. Any improvements possibly a small single plate cooker and toaster would be ideal and also sufficient cutlery for the number of guests. Also a non-smoking policy would be ideal. Otherwise very happy. This area also has a number of stray dogs and they do bark at night , but this affects the whole area and not just this hotel . Yes i would be happy to return to this hotel as its close to sultanahmet and close to restaurants and shops . Reception staff spoke good english

My husband and I stayed at Ferman Old City Hotel for a whole week. Though we had a basement hotel with window at street level, we didn't mind since we spent our days exploring Istanbul anyway. Ferman is in good location, walking distance from Sultanahmet area, and yet quiet and safe area. Breakfast could be improved though, Ferman should change the variety of breakfast to cater for longer stay guests. Not so fun to eat the same breakfast everyday for a whole week. Several staff do not speak English, but they are hardworking and friendly. Good service staff. A big plus for Ferman Old City Hotel. We will certainly recommend Ferman Old City Hotel for any couple who wants to be in Sultanahmet and yet quiet location.

It's cute little place, tucked between the Hippodrome, the main tourist area of Sultanahmet and it more intimate windy neighbourhoods. I really liked the clean modern aesthetic. The rooms are modest but comfortable. The rooms have large full height windows opening out to a stunning vista of Hagia Sophia and the Sultanahmet Mosque, provided you are staying above the fourth floor. The staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend Hotel Arcadia Blue to anyone wanting good value for money without sacrificing any amenities and being in the historic heart of Istanbul.

Sultanahmet Newport Hotel is located in a perfect spot with just a walking distance from the Blue mosque, Topkapi Palace etc all in the same vicinity. Great food places around for breakfast as I felt the hotel breakfast was lacking as only drawback. The hotel was kind enough to swap our room for a bigger room when we complained about the toilet. So no complaints. Would stay again!

Extremely strategic location to all the tourist spots within sultanahmet. Tram station is just 3-5min walk from the hotel. Very convenient for travelling if you have a kid. Very spacious, modern & big room.. Loved their interior. Ottoman decor. Breakfast was decent, choices were limited. Value for money though purely on location and decor. Highly recommended👍🏼 Cons: no taxi can access the hotel as the area is a car free zone. So if u have a lot of luggage’s, plus with a toddler, it would be quite the trouble getting access to the hotel.

Perfect location. Sultanahmet mosque looms large from your window or the garden. Arasta bazar is right across. Lots of eating joints around and just a walk away is Hagia sophia. Hotel is one of a kind. Open majestic and well kept. Wonderful staff and lovely breakfast though a bit too repetitive at times. When I happen to be in Istanbul next, I know where I’m staying. Highly recommended! Enjoy

We had 3 days of staying in Istanbul. Since I booked the hotel from website we had the address but it was a bit difficult for the taxi driver to find the place. He had to call to find it. But when we arrived there they allowed us to check in earlier and I should say staff were very friendly. The room size was fairly good. Our room's view was not really nice but we were not there to enjoy the view. We wanted a safe and clean room, close to the places that we wanted to visit and we got it.

Nice small hotel with character on the edge of Sultanahmet so close to all the sights. The Ausi owner goes out of her way to be friendly and helpful and we were the only non Ausis staying there. Has a nice rooftop terrace with a great view of the Sea of Marmaris to go and have a cold beer on and the breakfast was very good. Our room was pretty small and dark but was in the back, the rooms in the front looked much better.

I stayed here in late Nov 2015 on a one night layover to Sweden. This hotel is located close to the blue mosque and to other landmarks. If you can get a hotel in the on of the top floors, you will be amazed with the view. The room was very clean. The staff was welcoming and polite. They spoke English well and had recommendations for where to go. They were helpful to us by booking a cab. Free wifi and breakfast. We got lucky on this booking and so will you when you reserve a room.

the hotel is small but seems quite new just off a side street in the old town area of sultanahmet close to the topkapi palace, hagia sophia and blue mosque. the rooms are compact but very clean wth all modern facilties with a great shower and flat screen tv. the staff are very friendly amd professional. the breakfast is good with a selection of cereal, fruit, drinks etc and the spa facilties are also worth a visit. we stayed in a double room on the 5th floor and there was some noise from a construction site just outside the front of the hotel. hotel is in walking distance to the main tourist attractions in sultanahmet and would happily recommend this hotel to any couples or families.

We stayed at Armagrandi Hotel in Dec. Stay was great and suite room was very modernized. Only disappointed that the satelite tv channels do not have any English language channels (but its not the hotel fault though). Staffs were very friendly and indeed the location of the hotel was perfect - its 15 mins walk to Sultanahmet station, Grand bazaar takes around 20 minutes, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia is literally just 5 mins away. Everything about this hotel was great. Nonetheless I do encourage the hotel to look into beefing up its security measures. The back gate leading to hotel restaurant is open till 12 midnight - at times only one staff is stationed at the main lobby reception and no one is situated near to the restaurant or the entrace via back gate. Quite possibly, anyone could enter the hotel via the back gate, access the lift and go up to the rooms. The lift doesnt need an access card to specific floor level - thus anyone literally can access it. It is quite worrying that we witness this and hope hotel can implement some measures to address the potential security gap - to support its 4 star status. Ultimately, hotel stayers would want to feel safe and secure. Security shouldnt be compromised for sake of convenience or accessibility - via the back gate.
