One of my 'go to' Pattaya hotels”
I've stayed at this property maybe a half-dozen times over the last year, and Summer Spring is now one of my 'go to' Pattaya hotels. A marvel of consistency ... great location, just off the prime pitch and proximate to entertainment, dining, shopping, beach. The property is accurately represented in photos on their web site ... new, contemporary, professionally furnished, clean and well maintained. Roof-top pool has a panoramic view over the gulf, and is a treat for relaxing. Only gulf-facing rooms at level 6 and above have a sea view, and all rooms facing the sides of the hoetl face into adjoining high-rise hotels (a distinctly' urban' feel). Front desk and housekeeping staff are well-trained, queued and responsive on every request I've made. At this price point, Summer Spring is very much a 'good value' hotel, but only because it's location is not prime pitch (a modest inconvenience and reasonable compromise). Not a best place for travellers who stay in their rooms all day, due to a lack of views, and a modest lobby and cafe (fairly standard in most boutiques). I will stay there again, and do recommend it.

A very well-run contemporary 'urban' resort hotel”
A "next generation" relatively new boutique hotel, as opposed to the aging Thai family-built and operated properties, Summer Spring is professionally designed and locally managed by forward-thinking managers with more than a "do just enough" attitude. Rooms are nicely finished and furnished, professionally designed, as opposed to designed by the owner's daughter, or wife, or (worse) the contractor, which is the standard for most all of the "last generation" of legacy Pattaya hotels. Lobby is small, with a modest cafe, nicely finished and furnished, but only a place to wait. The hotel kitchen has limited reach (typical for most boutique hotels). A very nice rooftop pool and sun deck (8/F) has an umimpeded view over the bay ... more of a plunge pool, but a nice place to chill, do e-mail, read. Internet access is reliable, never disconnected, and fast enough for moving non-graphic intense bits and bytes. Core areas are carpeted, clean. The building is well-maintained, an obvious contrast to the older family-owned properties about town. A distinctly urban feel, surrounded by other highrises, only bay-facing rooms above level 6 have sea views. Balconies are not merely notional, but fully usable sizes; stunning sundowns, if you are on the western bayview side. All other rooms face adjoining buildings. The deluxe room, is accurately photographed in the web site ... contemporary design, lamps (instead of ceiling lights), tile floors, granite lavatory top, flat screen TV, couch, desk, fully amenitized. King size comfortable beds and pillows, thick bath towels. The hot water is plentiful, but surges horribly. I would stay here again. A good value buy.

Excellent Facilities In Quiet Location”
Summer Spring is excellent value for money in Thailand's low season when the rates are much cheaper. The hotel has a good pool and is close to Beach Road and other attractions on the North Pattaya end - a short baht bus ride away and South Pattaya attractions are available as well.

Great hotel in a quiet location.”
we stayed at his hotel for 6 nights after reading other reviews. the rooms are a good size and nice and clean. maid service was every day. we only ate in the hotel at breakfast time and the food was good. the beach is only a few minuites away and lots of shops and resaurants close by as well. this hotel is on a quiet street on the quiet side of town and is ideal if you want to escape the husstle and bustle of pattaya.

Pleasant hotel”
Our stay at Summer Spring was excellent. The staff were very helpful and always happy to see us. The only downside was very slow wi fi. This is becoming more important as visitors expect to be able to use their equipment easily. We had to go to other establishments to get connected. When we ate at the hotel the food was good but they are not set up for catering on a big scale. Our room was excellent and we were glad we has paid more for the sea view which was amazing. More comfortable patio chairs would have made it even better. Overall a most enjoyable stay.

Great stay at the Summerspring hotel. Located a few steps from the beach, very large rooms as compared to other hotels, awesome staff and great rooftop pool make this one of my favorites in Pattaya. The only thing that needs mentioning is the rooms are outdated and in need of refurbishment (they still have non flat screen tv's). Otherwise, a great hotel!

very good here i was very happy at the summer spring .nice well furnished good size room ,the bed was large and felt like a new bed ,very comfy.pool was good with spa on the roof with sea view.2 minute stroll to the beach and counless local cheap transport.the staff were quite young but they were just great no complaints .great place to stay

Fantastic roof top pool setting and view”
well appointed hotel with a feeling of friendliness and comfort. the rooms were very nice and clean. the breakfast area was small and intimate with a european feeling about it, the smell of fresh coffee when you cone out of the lift was really inviting. only 1 minute walk to the beach and transport to shops etc the location was quiet but easily accessible to all of pattaya has to offer.

Good Value in a New 3+ Star Boutique Property”
A good compromise in value and proximity ... you needn't stay in a remote location to find this sort of value ... at the North end of Pattaya Beach, just 1 minute walk up from Beach Road. New property (occupied maybe 2010-2011) ... standard rooms are sizeable (maybe 42-45m2), nicely finished and furnished in a clean, contemporary style. Fully concealed and recessed lighting create a nice ambiance. Very comfortable beds and linens (thick towels, high thread count bed linens, all 100% cotton), full in-room amenities. Rooftop pool perfect for lounging. Reliable in-room, poolside wifi. The front desk and maid service is notably good. They missed nothing ... responsive, and on top of everything. The disadvantages are not unrealistic compromises at this price point: restaurant service is nominal (typical for boutique properties) and the balconies (while large enough to be useable) face into adjoining buildings. The only balconies with sea views are in the west-facing rooms above about level 6. I will (and have) stay here again when seeking a good value buy.

A very comfortable stay”
I found Summer Spring location to be very satisfying when it comes to noise level. It's located in soi 1 where its away from all the bar activity, even pool side you have a fantastic view of the whole Pattaya bay with minimal noise level. The rooms are large (42sq ft) with cable tv & free wireless internet. The staff were excellent & attended to all of my request's & would definitely return on my next trip. Can highly recommend to the solo & couple travelers.

I really enjoyed Summee Spring hotel the location is about 100m from the beach with lots of places to eat and drink. Mini mart across the street and a great roof top pool. I would stay again without hesitation.

Warm and friendly”
a boutique style hotel with a very warm and friendly feeling throughout. the rooms are a good size and well appointed except for an iron to iron my shirt out of the suitcase. one minute walk to beach road where there are many good food outlets and the songtaew taxi buses to take you to more exciting options if you prefer.

Beachfront small but great hotel”
Although it is only a small hotel, it is located at beachfront. Its roof offers a swimming pool with significant view just like other fancy hotels. Food is good. Staff are also OK. They might not look so professional but they are quick to act when asked to so something. Rooms are well-kept. Seaview penthouse is spacious, although with not much design, it is comfortable. I would recommend to anyone who looks for a good located hotel, close to the beach, shopping malls and night life. This is a peaceful one.

Nice hotel with large rooms and great location..”
i've stayed here before many times, i think it is one of the best bargains in pattaya since it is located on soy 1 and a few meters from the beach. the rooms are showing their age and probably need to be redesigned as the furniture shows a lot of wear. however, the staff is very helpful and the pool is located on top of the hotel with a spectacular view of the whole of pattaya-which more than makes up for the hotels shortcomings.

Hotel is easy to find with many landmarks around it. location is very close to beach, abt 100m. Rooms r clean and bed comfortable. Providing in-room kettle and tea/coffee sachets, even if chargeable, would have been a big big plus. We upgraded our room category so we can get a room on higher floor which r supposed to have a good view according to some other reviews but the 1 we got, even though on 7th floor, had only the view of another tall building across it, and a partial side view of the sea only if u leaned out a bit from balcony. Roof top pool had a very good view especially the sunset over the horizon. The pool itself was ordinary. All the staff we met were friendly and courteous which is really good to see in a budget hotel and its the only thing that will make me choose this hotel again if I had to.

Big rooms, swanky interior, worth the price”
I spent one night here upon my late arrival in Thailand, before heading off for the closeby Holiday Inn for a week. In other works, since we arrived so late, this was just a clean place to crash. I was impressed with the interior, and Internet is available in all rooms (although the password system in excessively complicated). The staff is good, but they could brush up on the English. No viable food options in the hotel, just some set up in the lobby. I would have liked to stay here rather that the three-times-the-price Holiday inn. My wife disagreed, of course. I would certainly recommend this hotel as a swanky little-known hotel.
