Agoda mislead me. They pretended I was renting an apartment. My receipt says I booked an apartment. Nope. Bait and switch. I was actually renting a bedroom. Imagine my surprise when I came back from being outside for 10 minutes and found people in my apartment. The Agoda ad is intentionally misleading and avoids pointing out that you ARE SHARING AN APARTMENT WITH PEOPLE!! There were two girls opening my bedroom while I was gone because I accidentally took someone else's set of key cards also. There is no checkin. No reception. I walked around for 20 min, in and out of the building looking for reception. I phoned the hotel to ask for help and a boy answered.. with no introduction.. like I was phoning a private person who was surprise to be called.. anyways there is no checkin and to get in I need instructions but he couldn't give them to me without WhatsApp.. it took me 10 minutes to find internet (had to pay 6 MYR to use a business') and then he sent instructions via what's app. So for the review. Location: +2 star for being 5 minutes walk from a mall. Other than that you're in the middle of nowhere. Loses 4 stars for difficulty in checking in and having to go through a gross under-building parking instead of a nice normal entrance lot to gain access to the apartment. Cleanliness: +2 stars for the bedroom, was quite clean, clean pillows, mattress and sheets. +2 stars for being new and I damaged. Loses 2 stars for one dead cockroach in the shower plus mold and the two live cockroaches running around the bedroom. Loses 2 stars for the kitchen, it was new but unfortunately gross. It obviously had not been cleaned in a long long time. The floor, counters, top of fridge, drawers, cupboards... filthy. Facilities: the apartment is big however empty. There is a big table with 6 chairs around it and there is a small couch but the couch is rather useless as there is no table for it to make it functional. There is a nice big balcony but there are no tables or chairs on

The unit that I stayed do not have the right key to the main door therefore we cannot lock the main door., We can only closed the grilled door which has the padlocked. Rooms are alright.

Free carpark adjacent to summerton. The apartment is shared eventhough you may get 1 bedroom with bathroom. Gym is only for residents.

Lousy soundproofing”
We booked this accommodation for the Penang Bridge night run, turns out to be extremely pricey due to the popularity of the run and all the other hotel was fully taken up. Its near to the run site and that's the only good about this place. The soundproofing is bad, what people talk in the next room can be heard, the upstair people walking also can heard, the worst is the people are not considered and we cannot sleep and prepared well for our marathon run.

everything ok...it is just a homestay style, not recommend to solo female traveller..as you have staying same roof with other male.. depends your luck , either your bathroom is ensuite, or outside your room..
