Excellent Hotel”
This is one of the best hotels we stayed in in our 4 weeks in SEA so far. It is so central to everything, the facilities are great including the lovely rooftop pool and bar from which the city looks amazing at night and the bed is super comfortable. We spent 3 nights here and I would highly recommend it. The staff are very nice and helpful and the rooms are so spacious and comfortable. We are in the The Burger Shack, Eleven One m, David’s noodles and Bopha Titanic all of which were close and excellent. The rooftop bar is also lovely for good and a drink. We used Sophoarn’s Tours to get around for 2 days to visit the sites and. I would highly recommend his service also, he speaks great English and is very knowledgeable. He picked us up from the Sun and Moon Urban and dropped us back again in the evening. Overall this hotel experience was 5 star for us.

Best Hotel in Phnom Penh Riverside”
The Sun and Moon is the best hotel I stayed at in Phnom Penh. Location wise it's a short walk to the riverside, with many bars and restaurants. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. The facilities are worth the extra money and the staff and security are friendly and helpful. The air conditioning is very cold and the water pressure in the shower is like a power shower. If this hotel is within your budget, don't even consider another hotel in the area.

Nice hotel in a good location”
The Sun and Moon Hotel is a nice modern facility in a great location close to the river and nestled amongst the small streets. The hotel has some excellent facilities, from the top-notch restaurant to the rooftop swimming pool, everything is well maintained and clean. The rooms are in good shape, with clean crisp linens and great a/a. The showers are one of the best features. They are easily 2x the size of a normal shower, so you do not have to feel like you are inside a telephone booth when washing. The water is super-hot if you want it to be, the room I had was hot enough to feel like a steam bath. Speaking of steam baths, the hotel has both a dry and a wet steam bath and cold and hot pools in addition to the rooftop swimming pool. I enjoyed my stay there and I will definitely go back.

great hotel with a weird design”
not used to hotels having a giant open area to the roof. wish id have had a room that had a window to the outside of the building. my room had a window that looked out to the elevator. room was a very modern style the desk integrated into the wall. the chair provided is very uncomfortable as it is like some plastic modern art piece. Got them to give me one of the restaurant chairs instead. WIFI was pretty good and the ac worked fine. the bed was comfortable. parking is underneath the building and its mainly motorcycles but some cars can fit. food was ok but i found better places to eat close by. its in the heart of the bar district but its close enough to the other things in town to walk to them. there's a pretty good view from the roof bar pool area and the led lights all over the hotel center shaft is pretty and get turned off around 11 or so at night so they don't keep the people with a elevator view awake.

Great Location”
We arranged a ride with them from the airport ( $20 US ) - love getting greeted with my name on a sign. ( I thought the airport would have been more chaotic but it wasn't so maybe you could find a taxi for less? But who needs the stress) Our first stay was 3 nights in April 2022, had a room on the 4th floor ( 410 I think ) with a king bed. Comfy bed, black out curtains, and enough counter space to spread out. The 2nd time we were there May 2022 we had a room on the 2nd floor ( 203) which had all the same great amenities but the WIFI was super weak and you had to stand by the door to use it. The bathroom is painted orange which I loved! The breakfast buffet is robust. Noodles and eggs to order, pastries, juices, coffee, bacon - full spread. The breakfast server (Trey ) was amazing and remembered us which I thought was cool - You can walk all around and the area really comes to life at night.

The place to stay when in Phnom Penh and wanting to be close to the Girly Bars. 7 Eleven only 1 min walk away, all girly bars at your doorstep. Good restaurant, decent gym area and good sauna and steam room. Very clean hotel with a comfortable bed, pillows were just a bit fun size.

Very good hotel with nice and clean rooms a perfect location close to the palace, the Kandal market and the river. Some nice pubs and Restaurant close by too. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sauna and Steambath are great and very clean. Rooftop pool too. And: The gym is the best i have ever seen in a hotel. Will stay there again in May 2022 for sure.

Very nice and modern hotel in the riverside area”
With a rooftop pool, bars and restaurants on the roof and ground floor, and excellent location and modern decor -- this is a great choice. I got my rooms at a reduced rate since Cambodia has only recently opened up, so the value was fantastic. As tourism rebounds, this place will likely move out of the price range of some travelers, but if you can afford it it would be hard to do better -- especially right in the middle of PP's nightlife and tourist sights.

Great find in Phnom Penh ”
I was skeptical at first of this hotel… all the bright lights could either mean their trying to put lipstick on the pig, so to speak, or that it really is a nicer, more hip hotel. It’s a great hotel! Clean, organized, and friendly. The showers in the rooms are wonderful, beds comfortable, pillows perfect. Pool on roof is super nice and relaxing. I would stay here again.

Amazing hotel with cool style and comfortable amenities”
This is one of the nicest hotels I've seen in southeast Asia. Very comfortable, stylish and very secure. The staff here will go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is memorable. I booked the King suite with privet wrap around balcony. Great place to unwind after a day of checking out the city. Located on 136 Rd, There is plenty of nightlife and restaurants to enjoy. Inside you find it to be very quiet and comfortable for recharging your batteries. I would definitely book again!!

Good stay”
The Sun & Moon is centrally located near the riverfront and bar area. It is clean and basically well managed. I especially like that they take customer safety and security seriously. The front side of the building is on a somewhat busy street (though it seems quiet at night). So I chose a backside room on the 6th floor. It only had a small window with the nice river view (and high, so you only see it when standing up). The other window has a "garden view" which is just basically an open walled atrium looking downward. So it was private and very quiet much of the time. The downside is that the backside rooms get all of the loudspeaker music from the rooftop restaurant. This was very loud on weekend nights but only until 11:30. In the morning, you can hear some people yelling in the market, kids from the school behind the hotel, and staff moving tables/chairs on the 8th floor meeting room above. This was all at 6-7/9 am, but I could get back to sleep. The rooftop area is great - very nice rooftop bar/restaurant (though expensive, so I didn't eat there). The rooftop pool is very nice but only gets sunshine until about 12:30 pm. The sundeck is completely covered so no sunshine there. Other reviews have mentioned the doves drinking from the pool and leaving droppings. It is true that they drink from the pool but it is really not a nuisance at all. The droppings are not on the actual pool deck but on a separate lower deck about 5 feet, so you don't notice it at all. It's very good for swimming and relaxing. The room design is a bit odd but mostly in a good way. Very spacious, cllean, and decent mood. Just that the choice of furniture is more for "chic" design than for user friendliness (they should have a 2-seat sofa instead of the long padded bench, which serves little purpose). It is slightly on the expensive side, but I would probably stay there again if I want to checkout the nearby bar scene more in the future. It is a well managed hotel, and the staff were ver

Great boutique hotel”
I stayed here for a week - it was comfortable, and the staff were very attentive. Room service menu is a bit on the expensive side and not really a lot of choice, and the same goes for breakfast - after a week of eating the same breakfast, it got very boring. However, it was fairly tasty, and the food quality in general is good. Room is roomy and comfortable, but not very conducive to working as the lighting can make you very sleepy. Would be good if TV was digital TV as the cable reception was not very good.
