Pleasant stay with very friendly staff”
We enjoyed our stay at Suncity Guesthouse. It is relatively cheap compared to the other accommodations in Jeju. The staff are very friendly and can speak fluent English. For those who drive, there is a sufficient lots out front for at least 6 cars so there's no worries. A convenience store is located just across the road. The room is big with a queen size bed and a single bed. There are toiletries provided in the bathroom and necessities like hair dryers are also available. The beds are in good condition and the room is clean and neat. There is washing machine available in the corridor. Overall we will recommend this guesthouse for its quality and price.

Simple guesthouse with everything you need”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in suncity. Guesthouse is within walking distance to Seongsan and Seongsan Harbor. The staff was helpful and helped us with our itinerary and arrangement of taxi. Room was clean and very well equipped. A few good restaurants nearby and a convenience store across the street was definitely a bonus. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone, especially those who wish to explore the seongsan area.

Owner and a staff are very good in English and that makes it easy for us to ask anything. The place is very clean and we love the design! Its a very nice and cozy place to stay. Its very near to Sunrise peak, and Woodo. The owner gave me a ride to Seopjikoji. Next time if we're going to Jeju, we'll definitely will stay at SUNCITY guesthouse again.

This is the best stay for my whole Korea trip”
This is the place that you will start missing after you back home. Imagine a place that is relaxing & quite with perfect scenery around the guest house. The whole surrounding of this area is just simple and nice with beautiful scenery. The windy area of Seongsan makes it even more wonderful with the guest house own party area built from container with glass door front and back. Breakfast is served from the same area too! We are invited for the in house party at night and we truly enjoyed our time at the guest house. It was my most memorable moment in Jeju island. Met some of their staffs during party and found out most of them are temporary staff with own highly professional job that was hiding away from city hassle for a few months there. I would definitely go back to this place again if I have the chance!

It was definitely one of the best places I've been to during my Korea trip. Although I was travelling alone I had an awesome time.. I met many new people and the staff was doing their best to make my stay as good as can be. They dropped me off at some places when I had to go there or took me to Bisarim Forest - thank you! :) The parties were fun too.. Generally, there were more Koreans than foreigners in this guesthouse but that was just what I was looking for so I loved it. The location is good.. close to Sunrise Peak, Udo Island and Sopjikoji. Definitely loved my stay.

A very pleasant stay for family of four. The staff were also very friendly. Owner can speak decent English and helped us to find a very good seafood restaurant for dinner. Very strategic location near Seongsan Ilchubong and port to Udo. Recommended for anyone visiting the area.

A base of operation for eastern Jeju Island”
I had an enjoyable stay here, it was within walking distance of one of the World Heritage sites (Sunrise Peak Tuff Cone), near the bus stop to get to another one (the lava tube cave), and they helped me organize a taxi for the day to visit other sites. My dorm room held 6 in bunk beds and although a little tight, it was clean and acceptable. Breakfast is a basic coffee/tea/toast with spreads, and a convenience store is across the street, several restaurants nearby, and 1km to town for more food options. From the airport, 100 bus to Jeju Terminal, then 700 bus to the stop before the bridge to Seongsan. Walk back ~100m.

We stayed here at Suncity Guesthouse for 2 nights and booked a room (for 2) because it says that it's a 10-15 minutes walk to Seongsan Ilchulbong. But it's not. You still need to take bus to get there. Although the bus stop is near the guest house you still need to wait for at least 30 mins for the bus to arrive. Some of the staff also didn't know how to get to other tourist spots which is kinda off bec they live in the island. Also some of the staff don't speak english. We also requested for a balcony room with a view of seongsan ilchulbong (btw, we're honeymooners) but instead they gave us a room facing the road. The breakfast is basic and it's alright (eggs, bread, cheese, jams, rameon and coffee). They serve it 8am til 9:30a only. We went to the kitchen area around 8:15a and there's no coffee and rameon. We asked the staff to refill the coffee (or at least tell us where the filters and coffee grinds are) but it seems that the male staff didn't know how and where to get it. We ended up buying our own coffee at the nearest convenience store. The next day, we asked them if we can have our breakfast a bit early since our flight is at 9am and we need to travel at least 2hrs to get to Jeju Intl Airport. The female staff said we can't. Anyway, the room is big enough for 2 people but the T&B is not that clean. Used bath soaps are still there and there are stains on the sink. Overall, Suncity Guest house is okay for an overnight or 2 night stay in Jeju Island. Still it's better to get accommodation near the bus terminal in the city bec it's more accessible if you want to get to other places.

Easily located along the road to Seongsan Ilchulbong with free car park. Situated 5 minutes by car to Seongsan Ilchulbong. No lift provided, so you will need to carry your luggage up using the stairs. Bathroom a bit old and you will need to wait for a while before there is hot water.

I only stay there for a night. Booked a double room. Room standard is really high,enough space,nice view. Party zone is nice. Staff is very friendy. But it is quite sad that I have sent special requests for 2 times and get no reply. Then I have to find their contact by myself.

Bad Stay”
Booking a room at Sun city Guesthouse was my worst nightmare. if you tried searching online, there will be no telephone no provided. using an GPS to go to the guesthouse cam be quite an bad experience. the guesthouse is located around the sea side. some restaurant are located there selling only seafood and black pork. the room is small,after rolling out the futon, it's impossible to walk about. the bathroom is really bad, the sink is detach from the drain hole, you can smell the sewage from the toliet, the hotwater control for the shower can be a horrible experience. there will not be any place to hang your towel or clothes in the shower, so jus get and changes your clothes outside. the towel provided is like an gym towel or an face towel. can't call it an bath towel. there is no soap provided, just an soap bar. very bad. the futon provide was bad, you can get a bad backache if u are used to sleeping on soft bed. The internet connection in the room is quite useless. signal is weak, keep disconnecting. And did i mention that they kept a dog. the dog is cute, but it liek to bark alot at night. you can actually hear your neighbours from the thin wall, so it was an horrible experience. not recommended for anyone to stay. not worth spending you hard earned money at this place

On the whole I think my stay was pretty okay. I checked in close to 8pm, and had to call and wait for about 20mins for the personnel to come and give me the keys. The guy showed us to our room on the second floor, which was slightly creepy, with unlit corridors at some ends. It didn't help that the hostel was pretty empty. But otherwise the room was comfortable and pleasant.

Our booking had been mixed up, but they made arrangements for us to stay at a place up the street & made sure that they upgraded us. The new place didn't offer breakfast, so we went back to Sun city in the morning for a good breakfast.

Convenient place for self drive”
Room was small with a private old bathroom. No lift so have to carry your own luggage to upper level by staircases. DIY breakfast. Short distance drive to Sunrise Peak.
