A Great Value In Las Vegas ”
During our annual trip to Las Vegas to cover The Consumer Electronics Show; we stayed at the Suncoast Casino. This was our first time visiting the locale and my Brother in Law who lives in the area had said that it was a good option for us even though it was about 25 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip. We had plenty of parking options in the lot available after we arrived and made our way to the check in desk with our baggage. The staff was very pleasant and prompt and had us checked in quickly and directed us to where we could sign up for a Rewards Card which allowed discounts on the Buffet and other benefits. Our room was very nice as it was spacious and had a large bathroom, couch and lounge area, a desk and work area, and plenty of shelf and drawer space. The room also had a small refrigerator and a safe and a flat screen television. We opted to eat at the St. Tropez Buffet and they had stations of cuisine incorporating Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Seafood, American, and Mongol
Nice stay, no crowds”
Girl doing the late night check in was not very personable, but everyone else were super nice. Room was very clean. Enjoyed the free music. Location was good, we do not care for the strip. Easy trips to Red Rock Canyon and Mt. Charleston from this location. Did not use or plan to use any readout amenities so the resort fee stings. Did not care for having to go through casino to register or to get to our rooms, prefer the setup at Aliante Casino. If we come back to Vegas, Suncoast will be on my list closely behind Aliante.
Smoke Fill Casino, but Rooms are Great”
This hotel is not in the Strip so if you want to be in the middle of the action, this is not it. Our relatives live in the Summerline area so we wanted to be near them. For the price, this hotel is great. Our room was big and clean. The down sides are the smoke filled casino, limited TV channels and slow WiFi. To get to your room, you must walk through a smoke filled casino. That is not something I look forward to everyday. Also, wifi is very slow during peak hours. If you want faster speed, you have the option to pay for an upgrade. We don't know how much faster it is because we stayed with the speed that came with the room. TV Channels are limited. No premium channels like HBO or Showtime. They do offer, for an extra $, to purchase movies. I'm not sure if this is a Suncoast or a LV County thing. We also were told at check-in that a daily fee of $25 per room per night will be charged to you at check-out. You should plan for this if you are on a budget.
My teenaged daughter and I stayed here for a sports tournament last week. The rooms were inexpensive and well-equipped (coffee maker, small fridge, etc.). The hotel wasn't crowded during these days and the parking was plentiful. The rooms were very large (our room had 2 queen beds) and the bathroom was spacious as well. Hotel staff was courteous and they cleaned our rooms without having to ask (rare nowdays). The hotel is across the street from shops and hotels, with the main area of Summerlin about 10 minutes away. We'd definitely stay there again.
Great Value on Agoda!”
We were traveling to have Christmas with our son - so we were just looking for a convenient and economical hotel to sleep in. Additionally, we don't gamble, so the casino that filled the entire first floor of the hotel was annoying to us. That said, the room was spacious, spotless, and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, and there was a coffee maker and refrigerator in our room. We also had a view of the golf course. So even with the casino we had no interest in, this stay was a 5-star. We'd do it again.
Clean, Modern, Upscale”
Stayed here on my way from Southern AZ to Reno. Liked the location for a quick exit north but the property is also an amazing hotel and casino. Friendly staff, nice room, great bartenders and good upscale vibe. Not to mention the Tesla chargers on property which were a nice bonus. I’ll definitely stay here next trip through.
Suncoast Casino - Mediterranean Room”
When we entered this beautiful casino, we found everyone to be friendly, helpful and caring. Anytime we seemed lost, there was security or someone to help us find our way. I enjoyed the little gift shop and I had lots of fun on the machines. The scenery from our room was fantastic. The pools were great and I can say nothing negative about this casino. It was a pleasant experience.
I really enjoyed the numerous amenities that were offered the Suncoast. The hotel is very clean and the staff were all very polite.
Good value ”
The golf course view is nice. We switched because we wanted to see the town, but got a view of the roof instead. Rooms are nice and spacious. Carpets are a little outdated on the floors. Nothing was open due to covid (pool, gym, other amenities.) that was a bummer with kiddos. But that’s most hotels right now. Hotel was cheaper than most hotels in the area. Our family lives on this side of town so location was nice for us. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. Hubby even won some money playing in the casino. Restaurants were Decent prices, kids meals were kind of pricey. Food was good, really good pancakes! And all you can eat from 6am to 9am (?) would recommending staying here for a cheaper hotel that’s still nice.
This hotel is great if you want to spend some time away from all the excitement and noise. There are plenty of shopping choices and natural areas nearby. Plan for at least a half hour drive to the strip area. The positives we experienced: a lovely pool area (though it's not a big or deep pool & not really for lane swimming if that's your thing); room was large and clean with a great view; in-house restaurant called Du-par's had excellent breakfasts; the staff were very friendly; the parking is easy and close. The challenges: you have to walk through the often smoky casino to get to the elevators to get to your room (very unpleasant for non-smokers); no inviting indoor lounging area for simply reading a book or having coffee; there is a minimum $5 fee for printing a simple boarding pass (the front desk team was willing to print however). Because you have no choice but to face smoke every day - cannot recommend staying here. If this does not bother you, then it's a nice choice.
This hotel is in a great, safe location! Staff was very kind. Summerlin is about 15 min from the strip and close to hiking. Views beautiful! Excellent stay! just be warned that there will be resort fees and taxes added at check in.
Very clean room and helpful staff. Hopefully I’ll book this place next time I’m in Las Vegas.
This is a nice place except for the smoke in the casino! ”
Room very nice. Staff great. Smokey smell from casino was sickening!
Serious Concerns About Safety”
Was traveling for business and chose Suncoast because it was the closest hotel to the Red Rock which was sold out for the conference I was attending. I had 3 disturbing things in my guest room that were concerning to me. 1.) If you leave your "Do Not Disturb" door hanger on the door, they will enter your room for a "Safety and Welfare" check. I know suicides are a thing at hotels, but does this policy need to be advertised? 2.) The first page of the guest book has a "Dirty Needle" policy for folks that come stay at Suncoast. I'm not sure heroin addicts are going to read the "Dirty Needle" policy and I feel diabetics don't need to. So why it's there I'm not sure. 3.) The iron is literally locked to the ironing board with a cable. If you need to iron your clothes, plan on spending a few minutes untangling the cord like an old school curly phone cord before you'll be able to iron. Other than that the room was clean and it was easy enough to get an Uber out that far from the strip.
For the price, the facilities met my expectations. Since we did a lot of outside “the strip” traveling, it also afforded easy access in and out of Las Vegas. All amenities are close by.
There for new years day”
You can have a room with a strip view. I was there for NY and we watched the fireworks (albeit from pretty far away since the resort is nowhere close to the strip. Except for the location, v. nice property and my experience with the staff was excellent. Young lady from New york who checked us in was very pleasant to deal with and check-in was as quick as we wanted it to be. Rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. It was very expensive for NY but still good value for money compared to other properties.
Las Vegas Trip”
For being last minute looking for a hotel the price was right and even though it's 30 min from the strip I enjoyed the hotel overall having a bowling alley, movies, and other guest services I enjoyed my stay.
Get through the smoke for a great hotel experience!”
Great value for the money. Huge rooms. Smoke in casino gross, but hotel grounds are fabulous.
Nice place, terrible staff and policies! ”
So the pro is that the room was very nice. The view was nice from our room. However when we checked in there was a room deposit that was unknown to us! The people at the front desk were rude and one of the ladies said there was no manager. Hello in the whole casino! I will not stay there again because of the staff , which is unfortunate because it was an ok place to stay with kids.
This hotel/casino was clean and beautiful. It was the perfect location for what we needed.
