Perfect living for the family”
Very nice staff and clean rooms. Two very good and nice pools, some geckos and bugs in the bathroom but that comes with the surroundings. The nicest street food restaurant in Ao Nang, jolouise, is close to the hotell, right in front of the Ao Nang thai boxing arena.

They even prepare our breakfast as take away for the last day at 5:30am. Tge service was good and the room are comfortable & clean. But the floor is quite slippery.

Good value accommodation”
Great rooms with aircon and fridge. Free breakfast was good with toast, fruit and some hot food options. The staff are very friendly and help whenever possible. The hotels free shuttle to Ao Nang Beach is great as it’s quite a way off the beach strip - about 15 minute walk. Not far but far enough to feel a long way when it’s hot. The local mosque is close by. The swimming pools are lovely and we’re both available.

We reported to the staff on the first day of our visit that there was water leaking from the sink and the toilet. It was never “fixed” just mopped up and the leaking started all over again

Services”
The services were not met. My towel rack was spoilt when we checked in on the 1st day. Shower pipe was leaking. Maintenance was not done although it was complained for 3 times. The hotel working was out of order but was not replaced. No tissue box was given to every room. The TV channels were limited and the television set was the old set although it was still in working order. The resort needs to upgrade its facilities especially the pool and the garden as it was occupied with insects. However, breakfast was ok although it was not varieties.

Sunda Resort, a beautiful resort where a lots of review says it was like jungle, to me it like garden that makes us felt closer to the nature. I would recommend this resort to the tourist around Ao-nang area base on several reasons. 1. The Services provided. There are bunch of lovely yet super friendly workers. They work happily, helpfully and most importantly peacefully with every visitors. These made us feel comfortable like we are at home. 2. The Language. The worker here are quite fluent with English language. This is very useful when we request for help. 3. Free wifi, free shutter transportation. Nowadays we all get busy with the online life. These happened especially after we had the brilliant tour in the morning. We all like to share our pictures on the social net. So this is a plus point for us during the period we stayed. As for the free shutter, we just need to tell the helpdesk about the time we wan to go to aonang town. Just within 10 to 15 minutes, we will reach the destination. I not sure about other resorts, but this resort's friendly driver will fetch u to any place u want within the aonang area. For example, sometime i asked him to fetch us to Burger king area, sometimes to MCD area, sometimes to the Nopparat Thara Beach, they all say "ok" peacefully. Next time if i got chance to come Krabi again, i will stay here too :)

Lovely hotel & peaceful”
We selected this resort based on the photos we saw on the Sunda website and friend. The photos of rooms and facilities shown on their website was to our liking.The resort is not along the busy main streets of Aonang. It is close to the Boxing Stadium. The location is on the quiet side, which is ideal for relaxation. The resort is surrounded by greens and this makes for a serene atmosphere. Getting around to Aonang and Nopparat Thara beach is no issue at all. The resort provides free transportation to these place and back. The free transport runs from 8am to 9.30pm. There are two swimming pools. The pools go to a max depth of around 5 feet but there are children areas at both pools which are fairly shallow. Resort provides pool/beach towels and guests are allowed to take these to the beach or on day excursions to the islands. You can get these at the reception. Our room rate came with breakfast. There was cut fruits, cereal, salad, fried eggs, sausages, fried rice, fried noodles, porridge, pancakes, french toast, mix vegetables, yoghurt, buns, croissants, sliced bread, milk, coffee, tea, water, and 2 types of fruit juice. The resort restaurant is halal, which will appeal to Muslim guests. Alcohol is not permitted in the restaurant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were equipped with duvets, which added to the comfort level. TV is small, CRT type. Some cable channels are available (example: Star Movies, BBC, sports channel etc). Rooms come with a fridge, kettle and a small safety box. Canal room comes with a fairly generous balcony & facing the canal and surrounded by trees. For the canal room bathroom,it is fully close (on the resort website seems to indicate that it is an open shower). Nice concept. Wifi comes complimentary with the room. Overall this is a pleasant and comfortable resort. Environment is peaceful and there is a "feel good" factor. Staff are friendly.

We had booked Sunda resort for the 11 days we were in Krabi to relax. It exceeded all expectations, and we loved staying at this resort. The staff were absoluetly lovely, and the service was excellent. We had two rooms on the canal side, and the rooms were big, with a big terrace. Everyday when they made up the rooms they made elephants and swans and lotuses etc of the towels, really beautifully done aswell. AC worked really well, the bathroom was very interesting and nice, the breakfast buffet was large and varied, and really good. We ate at the restaurant once because it was raining so bad, and the food was very good and not expensive. The resort is located a bit inland, near the mosque and market, but you could still easily walk to nopparatthara beach. If you don't want to walk, they have free tuktuk to nopparatthara and aonang, which was great. There were also 2 pools, but we didn't use them, as we prefer the lovely andaman ocean. We will recommend Sunda resort to everyone we know, and everyone reading this. To us it was just perfect and made our stay a wonderful experience.

Nice and Green Hotel at Ao Nang Krabi”
Actually I and my wife really impressed with my stay at Sunda Resort. At first, I came to the hotel at 9.00 a.m in the morning and check in time at 2 p.m. Actually, We've just wanna to drop off my luggage and go to the beach, but Sunda give us early check in because the room is ready. So we can have a rest for a bit before go to the Beach. The hotel is not too close from the beach, but they provided shuttle car that will drop off and pick up us from Ao Nang Beach. Situation at Sunda Resort quiet so we can relax after did many activities on the beach. And the last, Sunda Resort provide halal food, so as a muslim, I do not need worry about the food. Love Sunda, hope we can go to the Krabi soon

Our stay in Sunda Resort was so great. ”
We are really happy on our stay at Sunda Resort. The resort is located quite far from the beach but there is free shuttle that can bring us to the beach or city center from 8am to 9pm. The garden view is really destressing and at night, we can hear the animal sounds like we were really in a jungle. All the staff in Sunda Resort were very friendly and they recommended us on the places to visit in krabi or where to get nice food.

Sunda resort is not in the heart area of Ao Nang, however, they have free tuk tuk transfer from/to Ao Nang, you just need to make a phone call, they will pick you up from Ao Nang! Overall the resort is great, specially the swimming pool just outside my room! I am sure I will visit Sunda Resort again next time when I visit Krabi!!

Sunda resort is very neat and everything looks as nice as shown on the photos - very green gardens and tasteful bungalows. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet has good choice and quality. Resort is aside from crowded Aonang and in walking distance from Noparat Thara, but resort offerd shuttle service.

Sunda - the family away from home!!”
Sunda Resort is perfectly-located in Au Nang, a gorgeous town with plenty to do, from tours to beaching, to shopping, to sight-seeing and nightlife. This resort was the best accommodation we stayed in in Thailand - and it was because we came home each day to friendly staff and an immaculate room. The free tuk tuk to Au Nang town saved us a lot of money, as did the free internet. The most memorable part though was the true feeling of 'home' during our stay there. An extremely friendly staff member called Don was the highlight of our stay here - he made us feel so welcome and his smile made our stay memorable! We look forward to coming back to Sunda next year definitely!!

I really enjoy my stay at Sunda Resort and Krabi. It was so good that I even planning for my next trip while I was still at Krabi. The hotel staff are extremely helpful, the shuttle service was so convenient and this offset the slightly off center location of the hotel. I am glad I traveled during low season, not so crowded and things are a lot cheaper.

My girlfriend, and I, originally booked Sunda Resort for 4 nights. We liked it there so much that we extended for 6 more nights. We had a wonderful time there. Wonderful resort”
I’d booked Sunda Resort due to the many good reviews of the hotel I found online already. The hotel didn’t disappoint and is great value for the money – we completely felt at home. The staff is super friendly, rooms are large & clean, the swimming pool felt very relaxing. Even though the hotel is not in walking distance to the beach or Ao Nang, the hotel’s tuc tuc is always available for the quick ride. The hotel is a tropical oasis and we’ll definitely return.

The price is too cheap to for this perfect hotel”
We were totally surprised with our chose. When we booked the hotel we knew that it's a little bit far from the center. But as soon we arrived there we understood that it was our best chose in all travel and it's the best hotel of Krabi when you compare price and quality. I am even afraid to recommend it as it is real too much good. It is a new hotel and in a nearest future it will be difficult to find a place there or they will incise the price. All is perfect there. We would recommend to book pool side room and from the terrace it will be possible to swim. They have 2 nice small pools with perfect clean water which does not have even smell of choral. The pools are open from 8:00 till 22:00 which is great to have romantic time at night and to have a nice swim at the morning before breakfast. The hotel is better then on the pictures. They made bathroom in a Maldivian style with stones at the floor and plants at the shower. Even hair-drier at the room they put a professional one (3000 w). Internet is very speedy and was real nice to check mails at the pool aria as well. Breakfast is amassing with all your needs, very fresh and serves at the open aria with the view to the river. This is an only hotel who also provides the guest with free tuk-tuk to the center of Krabi or to the beach (till 22:00), it is in 5-10 min away only from the center. Special comments about expellant work of reception: they always very busy with many guests at the small and nice reception but nobody was left without quick attention, this is the most professional reception I was, all our needs such as tuk-tuk, reservation for transfers and excursions, massage in the room etc. was done in a second and what was important – they did not look in a hurry, all was done in a quiet way with a real present smile. We will differently recommend to anybody visit Krabi to stay only there.

Beautiful resort”
it was a very pleasant stay! I stayed in a roon facing the swimming pool, so i really , really love it. Feels like being home staying here. The staff would accomodate u best as they can . Though the resort was quite further from the town than other resort it is very accesible since the resort provides shuttle to the town fr 8am- 9pm daily. If u stayed in town longer there's always is tuk-tuk which cost 50baht per pax to the resort. Overall, if im about to b in krabi again, i will choose Sunda resort as a place to stay.
