Okay”
Our visit was fine. The staff was friendly. The place looks good and the ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. The swimming pool needs a lot of cleaning and better maintenance.

Rather disappointing stay.”
A couple of things that disappoint me 1. it is not a beach resort. The wooden stairs to the pebble beach is unsafe. I suggest the owner make do some renovations. 2. Not enough space for everyone to spread out. 3. Wifi in the public area - that's misleading, it is only available at the lobby and no where else on the property. So it cannot be stated as public wifii is avialble since it is only available at the lobby. 4. Reviews raved about the breakfast - its so so. nothing to write about. 5. Toilet / bathrooms are not cleaned. the metal soap dish is rusty. I see hair from the previous guest. The bathmat is disgusting, i won't even't want to put my foot on it. Sink is sooo small. Water pressure from the shower is no more than a dribble. 6. the lamp next to my bed is uselss because there is no power socket to plug in the lamp. 7. why put 2 bottles of wine in the room? it does not help to make me feel that the room is nice.

Exceptional”
The place is very instagrammable and cozy. however, we experienced an electrical power problem on our 2nd night and 3rd day stay there. We slept near the beach because there was no way we can stay in our room. But, food taste so good and happy hour is the best. Mindoro sling cocktail is the bomb. :)

Very nice place. If you want a peaceful place, Sunny Beach is good to choose.

Relaxation at its finest!”
Arrived earlier than expected at 11:00am on which we thought we won't be able to check in upon arrival but to our surprise, they allowed 'early check-in'. Maybe it's because we booked months before and/or someone's already checked out on our room of choice. The receptionist looks and sounds nice, accomodating and also full of smiles, which is very relaxing to look at. Rooms are clean. They also provide clean towels (they smell clean and satisfying). Nothing special but it's good. Pool's chlorin's too concentrated. No one watches over, like a lifeguard, specially there are kids who swims all the time. You can always ask the reception for everything, a ride going to White Beach (or anywhere, they'll call you a tricycle), massage and scuba diving. They also have two available Kayak that is always free. the bar and restaurant is super relaxing. The view is fantastic. The bartender's nice and accomodating and served the best mindoro sling I've tasted my whole life. They're easy to talk to! Happy hour starts from 4pm to 6pm; you get to buy two for a price of one. The drinks are well served. Free breakfast didn't feel like it's free because it's delicious and will make you feel full throughout lunch. Excelent view with a fantastic plate! Will be coming back again sooner later because there's so much more to try out.

Good but could be better”
The place is nice and the view is beautiful. Staffs are friendly and accomodating. However, food serving time is slow, we need to wait like 30 minutes after ordering everyday. swimming pool is small and not that clean. the beach is dirty and only like 5-10m sand..we need to go to a different beach to enjoy the sand. and no white beach

Excellent”
It was our 2nd stay in this resort. Overall we liked the place. Just be patient when ordering your free breakfast. It was the Holy Week when we stayed there so naturally they had a lot of guests and it would take around 30mins before your free breakfast is served. We just noticed that the shoreline became smaller after the Dec 2016 typhoon which hit Mindoro. We hope they can fix/clean their beachfront coz it's full of debris which is not appealing to the guests. We would usually walk towards Luca since the beachfront there is cleaner and wider. We liked the location coz it was far from the crowd of White Beach and Sabang. If you want a lot of nightlife, stay in White Beach not in Talipanan Beach.
