Lives up to its name”
I arrived late, almost 11 pm, delayed along my 1500 km ride to the resort, just for a stopover. Office was closed. Called the number in the booking and within minutes the owners came and made me feel so welcomed. Room was more like a little suite - with a bedroom, a living room, a dining corner and a large personal porch - though a little bit dated. Breakfast was nothing to shout about, but sufficient. Swimming pool will excite the kids. The beach will excite the lovebirds, day or night. And see the sunrise yourself! Warning - come with your own transport or you will feel stranded.

Perfect for escape”
Very good impression with the location and the style of the resort even though the place quiet isolate but once you there it very peaceful as you have the privet beach just in front of the resort. The room furniture some need to be change as it quite old & it just spoil the rest of the furniture. However overall it very comfortable room quite spacious as we were in superior sea view & the pool just infront of us. The staffs are very friendly very welcoming & helpful. Their restaurant got variety of sea food which very fresh. The breakfast was not much choice but it's enough for the size of people who stay here, plus you can ask for English cook breakfast if it not on the buffet. Overall me & my family really enjoy the stay plus my little one 3 months old baby felt so comfortable here. Definitely we will go back there when we come back again to visit Thailand ;))

a place to be away from the crowds”
had a great time at the resort. it was worth every dime i spent there . food was amazing and not expensive at all . rooms were neat and well kept. staff was friendly and helpful.location is right on the beach. so quite and peacefull. will stay there again if i ever go down there. just one thing though u need to have your personal transportation if your planning to go down to that location.

Lovely little gem”
What a lovely little gem of a hotel. I would return in a heartbeat. The rooms are basic but comfortable, I had a room which had been recently renovated, my mom had a room which hadn't. Hers was fine also but needed a touch up. Comfortable nights sleep, good food and right on the beach front, it was so peaceful. The staff here were absolutely fabulous. So friendly, welcoming and they took really great care of us. I will return for sure.

Rooms were OK, basic but everything worked. Need a vehicle if you want to stay here, I chose it because it was out of the way. If you are looking for a party place this is not it. Great for families that want peace and quiet. Restaurant had good selection of quality Thai and some Western food plus drinks at very reasonable prices. Beach could have been cleaned but that's uncommon here in any event. I was the only one in the water with quiet a good beach for the mainland. Some islands to visit nearby, I didn't go, just relaxed as the only person on the beach. Didn't have breakfast, not my thing so can't comment.

Staff is beyond expectation. They were very attentive and friendly. I booked for the snorkel from the resort which is cheaper than book at the pier. This is unbelievable. Food was okay comparing to what we paid for. We can walk direct to the beach which is very private and convenient.

Good”
There are just three units around the pool - this are the pictures everybody can see - which seem to be nice. I had one of the rest and paid € 40.-- and that is defenitly to much even when it is executive suite namend . Since the resort was pretty empty I do no think I get the worst! The owner likes phantasy names and fantasy prices and this is not clever if he look around and see nearly empty resorts with far cheaper prices and newer facilities.

Ralaxing at the beach”
We had a great stay. The cabins are simple, but we really enjoyed them. The place is really remote so it is nice that they have a restaurant on site that is pretty good. There is a small pool that the kids enjoyed, but by the end of the week it was looking a little green. It is great being right on the beach, but it was too windy to really enjoy it the week we were there. Overall, we really enjoyed our time.

Great spot”
Lovely family bungalow with a double and 2 single beds. Friendly staff. Super breakfast worth paying extra for. Just across the road from a clean plastic free deserted stretches for miles beach. It is quite and calm and a 6 minute drive from a wood fired pizza place. We would recommend it here. Clean sea too.

Great place - OK service”
We arrived by train (which was late) and sent an email the day before asking to be picked up. Unfortunately they did not get the message so we called them from a local restaurant and they picked us up. The hotel is about 7km from the town and train station. We hired a motorbike which was needed. The service at Sunrise was OK but not amazing. The breakfast is not good and as a result we did not eat at the restaurant again. The room was big and very nice. There is a pool but it is not too inviting, so we did not use it but other people did. After 2 nights we moved to another place in Further up the beach.

Aircons in bedroom only and a fan in TV area !!”
We booked 2 family bungalows with aircon and found that 1-2 beds in each bungalow is in the living area with only a fan. The manager let us have 3 delux bungalows instead. Breakfast is limited. Staff cooked us fresh local seafood we ordered the day before.

Nice beach , so so hotel”
It was okay. The rooms were a nice size and had potential but the rooms were run down and had that, "okay I guess I can get used to this" feel rather than relaxing. The shower curtain had mold on it and one of the ceiling panels was removed exposing tons of wires. The porch was nice and big, and fun to hang out on with the other family we traveled with. It was nicely located right across the street from the beach. There is a pool but it's small and also run down and a bit on the green side. The food was good and not too expensive, but one night our group ordered dinner and my food (which was a very simple Thai soup) came an hour later than everyone else's food! The staff was friendly, and they let us bring our dog overall alright experience, but won't stay there again.
