Ceiling fan was operational but loose as heck almost to the point of falling off the ceiling. A/C blew nothing but warm air around the room. It was 84 degrees plus in the room all night plus the furniture is old, loose and semi broken. Consider unsafe for use. Stay away from room 107 if possible.

Pros: Location. Very close to shopping, Amusement parks, and restaurants. Area feels safe and is well lighted and in a spot that is not secluded. Cons: Had to go to the front desk at least once a day to have them remagnetize my key. I made sure it was separate from things that would demagnetize the card and still issues. I actually had issues with the cards immediately after they issued them with my check in. It was a pain to have a handful of things, lunch,dinner, bags from shopping and not be able to get into my room. Staff didnt really seem phased by it. The table in my room was all scratched up and peeling. Used bar of soap was in the shower when I arrived. Toilet always came close to overflowing anytime it was flushed. I left the tag on the first two days and took it off when the room needed to be refreshed while I was out for the day. Room was not cleaned and towels not refeshed. Had to go to front desk and ask for towels.

The people running this Wyndham property certainly figured out how to spend as little as possible while getting others to spend more than this place is worth. Breakfast is laughable. Bread, oatmeal packets, coffee, hot water, cereal and some cheap palm oil based 'pastries'. The front desk staff is apathetic and they have a moldy old couch in their so-called lobby. This place is in dire need of a makeover. The owners must be raking it in with all the nearby Six Flags, Gurnee Mills, corporate and I-94 traffic but they've managed to pocket the profits and invest next to nothing in the upkeep. Room was decent and comfortable. C minus.
