I was in Iowa City for “The Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament. Excellent location for all that the Iowa City/Coralville area has to offer. But the Wi-Fi was out for my 2 day stay.

The window in #203 is broken, ceiling in restroom is cracked and falling down due to moisture damage. The halls and stairwells are dirty. This Motel has Illegals living full time, and smoke in the building. They are noisy and Hangout in the parking lot.

It was a clean facility., and they were cautious in the way they are handling the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff was very friendly, and accommodating. I had a couple of minor issues with my online biking but Misty helped me get those resolved and I was able to get the get the room I needed on the first floor due to my disability.will stay there again on future trips through the area, and would recommend if on a tight budget like I was on this trip.

Unusual Architecture but comfortable stay”
I got a smoking room which smelled bad even for a smoker like me. Housekeeping kinda dropped the ball on that one, but the room was nice otherwise, the staff was nice & quick to assist, and the free breakfast options were filling and tasty.

Room had peeling ceiling and felt cramped. The room was on the 1st floor. The second floor room I had was better.
