Value for money”
Located about 15-20min walk from the Shinjuku station. If you are travelling with big luggage, you may need to walk pass a small upslope. Otherwise, the area is happening with lots of eateries and shops. Room wise, it is clean although small. The breakfast is great with enough food variety although it can be busy. The hotel come with a public bath also for those interested. Generally, recommended

Small budget hotel”
The room is really really small. Apart from that, it is a nice budget hotel if you would like to live in Kabukicho. 2 mins walk from Kabukicho, 10 mins from subway station, 15 mins from JR station. Free (and simple) breakfast. Onsen / public path inside the hotel. Rooms are clean. Staff can speak English.

Thank you very much for staying at Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho and for writing this positive review! As you already mentioned our hotel is located near Shinjuku station, which is one of the most important rail traffic hubs in Tokyo. Since there are so many train, subway and bus lines you can go to almost any place in and around Tokyo! We are happy to hear you liked the breakfast, the free artificial gas spring and the pillow corner! The breakfast is not just delicious, but healthy as well, since the provided vegetables are organically grown! The carbonated water from the gas spring does not only have a positive effect on your skin, but it also improves your body’s blood circulation and reduces fatigue! Furthermore, it is a good way to warm up in the cold season, isn’t? We offer many different kinds of pillows, which fits your individual needs, because we want our guest to find a deep and healthy sleep! Which pillow did you choose? We are looking forward to seeing you again!

Great value for money”
The only thing I did NOT like about the hotel is that the breakfast was very limited and I couldn’t really enjoy anything other than the pastries lol. There wasn’t even TEA. Honestly I expected better after staying at a smilar priced hotel with fantastic breakfast. Otherwise a nice little hotel, clean, staff were very accommodating, I liked the pyjamas and pillows in the lobby (you just help yourself if you want anything). Laundry for ¥100, vending machines, and the 7 eleven a few steps away from the hotel are great facilities to have. Although the hotel was right at the periphery of the red light district, you still feel safe and secure.

Good location. Breakfast limited choice. Staff is friendly. Our room was a bit dusty. ”
Again, as someone mentioned, the hotel feels like a hostel as opposed to a hotel. I would stay somewhere else in the future. I prefer I more hotel feel.

Bad experience”
This hotel is good when considering the price, we had bad luck to have bad experience. We reserved a non-smoking room, it's fine when we entered the room, but when we switched on the air-con, the room was full of smoking smell. We requested to change another room because we are allergy, but they refused because of fully booked (May be the vacant room available which noticed on the hotel front door is only for walk in customers). Staff offered to change to another room in another night but need to leave the room before 10. Considering staff provided a heater because we cannot switch on air-con in a cold night. However, it's noisy and we had to switch it off. What we could do is to wear more clothes to sleep. Unfortunately I got sick, I couldn't stay in room to take a rest and get my room back after 3. I think that it's not our fault, it's better to provide another room before asking us to leave our original room.

Inconsistent Information from the staff ”
I booked total 5 days from 1-4 & 6-7 Jan . I checked with the staff if I can keep the luggage at their hotel on 4 Jan night. At the beginning, she said there is extra cost 2,000 yen per luggage. After she discussed with her colleagues, she clarified that they can keep the luggage without charge as long as we back on 6 Jan. ( I have shown my confirmation to ensure we can stay the luggage there) When I check out on 5 Jan, the other staff said we need to pay 2,000 yen per luggage even we back on 6 Jan. I told her what I heard from your colleague last night and tried to ask why the information is not consistent. She said maybe there is misunderstanding amoung us as her colleague is not good at English. She just said sorry and no. I understand the hotel space is limited, but it is unaccpetable to gave me the inconsistent information. I can make the better arrangement if first staff told me the correct information.

Super Hotel is Fantastic”
The location was quiet and yet in the heart of Kabukicho Shinjuku. Super clean. Wonderful staff. Really enjoyed the 2nd floor onsen. Everyone was wearing swimsuits when I visited although traditionally you don't! Time is allocated to women only and men only bathing. Free breakfast was such a bonus. Hot meat dishes, soup, rice, eggs, tofu, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, salad, noodles, beans, pastries, croissants, hot and cold drinks etc. We don't eat meat but there was plenty for us too. Choose your pillow (hard soft medium etc) and a dressing gown before you get in the elevator. 5 free gifts for women only each day (sachets of beauty products). In the room (small but that's Tokyo!) We had slippers, tissues, shampoo, body wash etc, TV, hot water jug, green tea, comfy bed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Small but Good”
I have booked 2 connecting rooms x4N for my family of 4. Beside the room is small till we have difficulty to place 2 big luggage in each room, we were happy with the rest. Good location, convenience, good service, friendly staff, nice Onsen and good breakfast. I will book Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho again if I am to stay in Shinjuku area the next time round.

Proximate location, good breakfast and amenities”
Super Hotel Shinjuku Kabukicho was a superb location, about 10 mins to Nishi-Shinjuku metro station and about 10 mins to Shinjuku metro station. Check-in was relatively easy, room was small but comfy (less the pillows, sorry but we would have preferred cotton pillows), bf was a small spread but an eclectic mix of western and Japanese food. And everyone from the reception staff to the housekeepers were accommodating and friendly.

Worth 3-4 stars to me at least!”
I've been to Japan a few times, especially Tokyo, for leisure and business. My business trip this time clashed with the peak season, with everyone visiting Japan for sakura and Easter holiday, it was a headache for me to find a place to stay. With all my usual choices already fully booked, I searched for alternatives. Super Hotel is around 10 mins walk from the heart of Shinjuku, right in the heart of the Kabokicho. I was afraid the area was bad because it's famous for its nightlife, however, having walked through the place around midnight a few times, I didn't feel dangerous at all, actually, it was rather 'fun'. Anyway, the hotel is great, check-in and check-out is lightning fast, and all rooms have passcode locks, no need to bring more keys. My single room has a rather large bed, around 5ft x 6feet3 in size, for me it was really spacious. Room has air con as well as heat, not like some older hotels where you must suffer from heating even in the warm Spring sometimes. Toilet is not too small either. So yes, there must be something bad about each hotel right? I can point out 2 here. The breakfast area is very small, so you have to go down earlier to find a space or else you might really end up waiting. It has 14 floors, with around 8-10 rooms each floor, you can guess how many people there are to share the around 30 seats in the dining area. Lastly, the hotel only has one elevator, I had to wait 5 mins to get into the lift at night when everyone going back to hotel same time. Overall, I am happy.

Decent value for money”
Conveniently located near the lively center of Shinjuku Kabicho. We stayed for 4 nights. Train stations, convenience stores, restaurants, pubs and entertainment outlets are at a walking distance and the hotel is just outside the crowded center of Kabukicho. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly. The included Western breakfast was not our favorite but with so many places to find great food, that was not a problem. The hotel has a natural spa that can be used free of charge but due to time constraints we did not try that. The beds were big enough for a couple but opening a check-in luggage leaves little space in the room. Overall it was clean, pleasantly quiet and yet nearby entertainment, restaurants, street food, pubs and convenient stores. A place we would recommend if staying in Shinjuku Kabukicho.
