Good hotel with the best location in this price range (by the sea, relatively of space, close to the port, close swimming place and sea promenade). Clean and tidy. Next door is a stadium which might be quite noisy, as well the street (like everywhere at Male). Sandy beach and good swimming place is located at the other end of the island (NB No swimming suits allowed on the all island!) Breakfast is OK, not rich. Pictures and description of the booked room on the agoda.com and booking.com webpages does not match with the reality. There were missing sitting area and balcony, as well ironing facilities. Shower did not have a curtain and was not isolated from the rest of the room, so everything got wet and usage of the room was quite unpleasant.

I have stayed in Male many times and have tried many hotels on the island. In this price range there is really no competition. Surf view offers a significant step up from all similar price competitors. The rooms are small, but well appointed, and comfortably serve their purpose. Staff has been amazing, and willing to go out of their way to help with any needs you have. For the price range you will not get better service in Male.

Good hotel in Maldives near artificial beach”
The room does not have a locker. rooms are clean and neat. HD channels are there. walking distance to artificial beach. the breakfast is good. specially the roti served with coconut sambol. however they did not provide water. when we ask, said we have to pay for water (duh?) who pays for water when booked for breakfast??? other than that. good hotel. they even extend our room till 2pm for free. got the free airport transfer as mentioned in agoda too.

The WiFi was very bad every time got to login in and gets disconnected. Room was comfortable but the blanket was small for couples !!!/‘f a lot of TV Chanel’s which was excellent. Location was good as Male is small island

Very convenient ”
I stayed with my fiancé for 2 weeks. And will be staying again next week for another 2 weeks before flying back to london. The hotel is very convenient to go around. The staf are very helpful and very friendly too. The late shift lady in the reception was very welcoming on our arrival and also gave us complimentary late checkout till 17:00 as our flight was late at night. Much appriciated. Thank you very much for you warm hospitality 😊

The good thing they offer pick up /drop off airport... The stuff was very helpful...The hotel is extremely basic, needs a lot of properly clean up... And redecorated (mould is in place around the room). Plus a better clean on the breakfast area... The good point was the stuff very helpful and kin to help.

The hotel was difficult to find for it was quite small and near a curved road. One room in the coner had a surf view, the other room was so small with a road view. Breakfast was toasted and eggs , hotdogs and mango juice. We asked to eat in cafe area in the lobby because our rooms were so small. They forced us to eat in our rooms. If you want easy breakfast and be forced to eat in your room, stay here. If you want a better treatment , stay somewhere else. Male is not a nice city to stay in Maldives. Next time we will avoid this place.

Surf View is a good budget hotel for 1-2 nights. Unfortunately the linings are not clean, no window in the rooms. But the breakfast is very nice! Good location - not far from the pier.

Staffs are nice, bed is comfortable enough. Many choices for tv channels. Suggestion would be provide guest with the wifi password based on their length of stay instead of we need to ask for it everyday as there is an expiry period for the password
