Very disappointed ”
1st room: Double bed booked, twin beds provided. Requested a change of room to a double. 2nd room: Double bed, room not cleaned, bed not made, previous occupants sheets still on bed. 3rd room: (and having been travelling for 18 hrs and at the hotel nearly 2 hrs) Double bed provided, and room appeared cleaned. Decided the bedroom was ok. However bathroom not clean, hair on walls in shower area, walls also dirty/mouldy, bathroom bin was empty but not clean (not sure what was growing in it), bathroom sink missing plug, mould in fridge, torn pillow case, Went to bed clothed and covered pillows in old T-shirt’s. Awoke in morning to find air conditioner had been leaking all night and flooded the hall/entrance.

big hotel with great swimming pool”
the hotel is very big ,we have to wait for about 15 minutes to get our room ready,the lobby was big but feels like empty/not to much people with activity around the hotel , the swimming pool was great, my kids like our room which is located on 3rd floor and the balcony is facing toward the swimming pool, the kids love it ! the breakfast was average indonesian food (fried rice,fried noodle,2 kinds of chicken entrees, breads,coffee etc).. overall our stay was ok..thanks sutanraja hotel.

Hotel located outskirt of Manado town but you have option to use online transportation to go out or Bluebird taxi always standby in front of hotel gate.Need major maintenance especially rooms and facilities.Breakfast is ok. Hotel smells old and need to clean and make shiny

Disappointing”
I am quite disappointed by the Sutanraja. Maintenance and housekeeping are both terrible. Malfunctioning air conditioning, mold, soap scum, just plain dirt, hard water deposits around the sink and clogging the dodgy shower head, dirty floor and carpets -- the list could go on and on. Bright spots -- genuinely warm and friendly staff, and no bed bugs, cockroaches or other creepy crawlies. It is evident that the owners and management have very little knowledge and experience in running a hotel. There really is no excuse for the overall sad condition of the Sutanraja.

False advertising”
utanraja hotel show photos on there website and agoda that do not NOT look like the rooms at all. * toilet leaking * damaged floor and broken tiles * curtains stained and dirty * bed cover stained * bathroom dirty, mold on floors and door * all furniture is damaged * bathroom towels smelt so bad and looked like rags, they were actually falling apart. * wall paper is all peeling back and dirty * the food was cold and had been sitting around for sometime before it reached us. * balcony door damaged and would not open * floors throughout the hotel were extremely dirty, in general the hotel was dirty once you left the reception area. I have never put a bad review on a hotel before and when i visit hotels i always expect some kind of wear and tear, but this place is beyond that. I asked the staff to upgrade to a better room and was happy to pay however when i saw the other rooms they were just as bad. The manager didnt seem to care about the issue and actually refused to speak with us even though we were being polite. It seems the cleaning and hygine issues have been a ongoing problem that seems to be ignored by management. I did not stay for the night and left without a refund. I booked into the Aston Hotel in Manado a less exspensive, cleaner and beautiful hotel. Do not waste your time here, the hotel needs a complete re furbish.

Enjoyable stay, worse breakfast”
I booked through Agoda for the Superior/Standard room, which I had that type of room 6 month ago as FIT. In my mind, I thought I would get the same type of room which was small (the superior type is so small, so if you wanted to stay there and prefer to have double bed you better get the Deluxe one. For Deluxe the hotel doesnt have the Twin Bed) but the reception told me that my booking was Deluxe. So I was surprised when entering the room, its so 180' different. The room was big and comfy. So for the room, I'm very delighted and also it comes with 1 hour free kaaoke during the stay. For the breakfast, it was so awful. If you had it little bit late 8am above, then for sure the hot food is no longer hot. The staff was so slow in assisting the guest, always late in refilling the empty food. Overall, the breakfast experience was bad.

I would not like tO recomend this hotel. No heater, shower broke, and I forgot about the deposit money, the staff did not remind me about that. So I did not have it, impossible tO take it back when I am not leaving around Manado 👎👎

the booking was there but the lady reception gave me a one bedded room wherelse I booked a twin bedded room..... she insisted that they don't have a more rooms. it was frustrating until another guy showed up and gave me the room that I want... but told me that I could not extend my stay because they are fully booked. the next day when I want to check out they told me I can extend if I want but I have already made arrangements to stay at other Hotel.

Big and new hotel, but poor services”
the room and the bathroom are clean, but starting from the second day onward there was no hot water. one night, when i inquired about the hot water, the reception officer said that there would be someone coming to my room to provide the hot water i needed. no one came. when i checked out, i was over billed for another room i booked for my brother (not via agoda). i don't think i want to come back to that hotel again.

we had spent quite some times upon check in. i made the booking via agoda 3 days before arrival date but the reception staff said that they didnt have the booking and just been notified by agoda by the time we tried to check in. The deluxe room is quite big, my disappointment was i couldnt have hot water at the day time. complained to front office but the response was not satisfying. What was really annoying is the house keeping staff (not all of them). We were fully understood that the check out time is at 12.00 hrs, but the staff knocked our door around 10am and before i even opened the door...tadaaa....the staff open it with his key and asking our check out time... so where is our privacy?

Taking my holiday there, got a great view in front of the mountain. Has a terrace in a room, good place. But not the location, too far from the town. But all is 7 for me.

Uncomfortable, promise not met”
The location is so far from the main town of Manado. Our room was smelly, the pillows have some markings on them, there are webs in the corners of the room, my wife and I are constantly itching (might be from the linens or from the mosquitoes), breakfast is the awful, the smell of chlorine from the pool remained in our swimsuit for at least 2 days, staffs are friendly but can hardly understand English (it can take around 20 minutes just by asking how to get to the town by public transport). In short, our stay in this hotel is very close to disaster.
