The Park Nine Hotel Suvarnabhumi
Suvarnabhumi Airport,Suvarnabhumi Airport - View on map
"We reserved an overnight at the Park 9 in transit from Koh Samui to Bali. The Park 9 is just minutes from Suvarnabhumi airport. The facility is only 2 years old and in fabulous condition. We stayed in an Executive room with living area, balcony, refrigerator, stove top and washer/dryer, although we did not use the kitchen facilities. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious and at good prices. The free breakfast was very nice. Easy trip the the airport the following morning. We took a taxi due to our departure time, but there is a shuttle serve at certain times. Our only critique is that some of the restaurant staff had limited English, which is odd considering the hotel is near an international airport. Otherwise, fantastic and we would stay here again!"

"We chose this resort for a one night layover in BKK, transiting through Suvarnabhumi Airport. It was a 15-20 minute drive away. The staff were excellent and leapt into action when I thought I lost my passport. Our two bedroom suite was perfect for our family of five and very clean and well appointed. They packed us with a very full takeaway breakfast box for our early flight. The pool and playground were a big hit with our young kids. "

"Safe, easy to locate their airport pick-up service at Suvarnabhumi airport, secure for single female traveler arriving late at night. I thought breakfast and airport transfers were included in hotel price but they are not. Still very affordable for a transit passenger, there is a 7-Eleven and a bank a stone's throw from the hotel entrance so you can change currency and pick up supplies or even breakfast. I recommended it to another female traveller who will be going the same route in April. Thanks for a safe, clean, comfortable stay! "

"Good location, near 7-11 and main road. The room is clean and bed is comfort. Staff is nice. However, no hair dryer and limited amenities. Hotel charge 3% for paying by credit card without prior notice at booking so make sure you have cash or pay online at reservation."

"as I was an ASQ quarantine visitor , I can only comment on behalf of what I can say about my stay in quarantine, I had a room on the 6th floor with a view on Suvarnabhumi airport, with a nice bed and great bathroom; for AsQ people were provided with a lot of waterbottles, coffee ,tea ,shampoo ,showergel and even toothbrushes and toothpaste, There was a waterboiler and a fridge . There is a main road in front of the hotel but I always have earplugs with me , so I did not hear the traffic outside, Every day they ask you in Line app what you prefer for breakfast , lunch or dinner the next day ( always 3 choices available) They knock on the door when your food is delivered, Food is ok even in this circumstances, Staff is very friendly and heplfull, In case you want some more food or drinks (no alcohol inASQ) there is plenty of choice with reasonable prices, It was a pity I could not use accomodations such as swimmingpool and fitness but nevertheless , I would surely recommend this hotel to other people"

The Cottage Suvarnabhumi Hotel
Suvarnabhumi Airport,Suvarnabhumi Airport - View on map
"Our stay at The Cottage Suvarnabhumi Hotel was rather short, but indeed memorable to say the least. We arrived at the Suvarnabhumi Airport at almost 2 in the morning, and even if our hotel pickup was scheduled at 11:30 in the evening the previous day, someone from the hotel was able to pick us up at Gate 4. He was very courteous, helpful even with the exception of the language barrier. We had to move to a new room to accommodate my party of 3 the following day (I travelled with 2 friends), and the room that we had then was very spacious. The bathroom was okay, though I think the corners of the shower need some extra brushing, but nevertheless the towels, the complimentary shampoo and body soap were all superb. There were complimentary water too which came in handy during our sightseeing at the city. Our room had the view of the swimming pool too, and it was a lovely sight to wake up to for the 3 days we stayed. Overall, the staff was very nice. Whenever we call the front desk for help (to call a taxi for us or to pick our luggages on our last day), we only waited a few minutes before someone's knocking on our door for the assistance we need. The Cottage is quite far away from the city, but still commutable since it is near the airport, where the train station is situated. Instead of taking the taxi to go to different places in Bangkok, what we did was to get a cab to bring us to the airport (10 minutes away and even less from The Cottage), and from the airport, we boarded the train link to the city. The rates at The Cottage were rather cheap, but the quality isn't."

Novotel Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport
Suvarnabhumi Airport,Suvarnabhumi Airport - View on map
"Outstanding comfort and convenience. I could not recommend this hotel more highly. Every detail to ensure comfort is provided, from the spacious rooms, wonderfully comfortable beds, pool and beautifully vegetated pool deck, fitness facilities with a wide variety of well-functioning equipment, steam and dry saunas, Thai massage (extra charge), outstanding menu and restaurant, frequent shuttles to flights, knowledgeable and helpful staff, etc., etc. It is even quiet, although less than 5 minutes from the airport. This is without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Coming from the US, I assumed the hotel would be like US airport hotels I have stayed in, a convenient place to crash and to grimly tolerate. The Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel was so much more than that. Bangkok was a connecting airport for flight to Bhutan. We stayed on our way to Bhutan and couldn’t wait to come back to treat ourselves to a Thai massage, which I recommend highly. This hotel makes it possible to quickly recover from an unendurable, wretchedly uncomfortable, and sleepless flight. "

"Stayed in this hotel on May 4, 2020. It is a only a few years old so it is not "run-down" like many others in the area. Room was nice. Room was clean and everything worked. Tesco Express and market nearby. Used their airport shuttle van to get to the airport in the morning. If I am travelling in or out of Suvarnabhumi Airport, this is the hotel I will use. "

Canalis Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel

"This hotel was newly built in 2019 and it is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in here in Suvarnabhumi airport area, it is located approximately2KM from the airport and the taxi fare from the airport is 150 Thai bah. It has four wings to it ABCD the first {A) were the reception and front desk are and the later (D) were the fitness and swimming pool is located, it is in nice surroundings with large parking facilities. The rooms are spacious with TV internet and tea / coffee facilities and are very clean. The staff at the hotel are most polite, efficient and friendly. After my many years of experience with hotel stays inn this area I strongly recommend the "CALAIS""

More about Suvarnabhumi Airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport changed the atmosphere of Bang Na and surrounding neighborhoods when it started operated flights in 2006. Before that, Don Muang Airport handled all of Bangkok’s international traffic. Today, airport hotels near Suvarnabhumi are among the newest and busiest in Bangkok.

The international airport lies off of Highway 7 and has facilities enough to accommodate 45 million passengers. It became the biggest airport in Southeast Asia and continues to challenge other regional gateways like Singapore's Changi and Hong Kong International Airport.

There are airport hotels on Suvarnabhumi Airport grounds, along with plenty of accommodation in the extensive Bang Na area. Several country clubs and golf courses are here as well, for those with time between flights. As the airport is removed from Bangkok’s sightseeing districts, this area mainly appeals to passers-through and business travelers.

Bang Na is west of the airport, and it has the best commercial offerings in the area. Central Plaza Bang Na is the best and biggest mall in the area – extremely popular with locals, with seven floors of shops and a swimming park on the roof. Another area institution is Assumption University, a prominent Thai university with a student-fueled entertainment district.

For business travelers, an important area of Bangkok within the Bang Na area is BITEC – Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center. Host to exhibitions, concerts, large-scale music events, trade fairs, expos and the hugely popular Motor Show, BITEC is a brief cab ride from On Nut BTS station, or 15 minutes by car from the airport.

The transportation infrastructure in Bangkok is still under development. The BTS to the airport is in its final stages of completion, meanwhile taxis – the metered taxis at the front of the airport – are the best way to get to hotels in Bangkok metro. Limousines are another reliable, if somewhat more expensive, option and airport buses serve different routes throughout Bangkok around the clock.
