In between multiple subway stations, but still a bit distance to walk. I think more suitable to young solo traveler, but really convenience for food and even have vending machine in the building

Youth hostel”

Separate women & men's floor, but the women's floor window has no curtain so is completely visible especially at night. Women should be aware that they can be seen walking around on the floor at night although each bunk is private and curtained. This is definitely a place for YOUTH. Guests were youth in their 20's. If you just want to sleep this is fine, but it's a camp style layout with a floor full of rows of bunk beds.

EZ access to Akiba”

Great location that's not too far from the main street of Akihabara. The staff were accommodating and nice. Spacious bed boxes with two hangers, an electrical outlet, light, and a spot to put your backpack. The cleanliness could be improved on by posting a sign saying whether shoes were OK or not in the bathroom as I saw other guests walk in with their shoes, or providing free slippers. But otherwise, I enjoyed my stay at Hiromas Akiba. Thanks for having me.

Clean and good value for money”

Pros: -situated between Akihabara and Ueno -convenience stores are near -different metro lines are available (nearest is 200m-Suehirocho). But Suehirocho station does not have an escalator or elevator so dragging your luggage is a struggle. Keisei Ueno is ~900m. -staff are helpful -clean -new towels everything -beds are comfortable to sleep in and the bunks are spacious enough. Cons: -no elevator. though I stayed in the Female area which is at the 2nd floor. -almost everything is in wood. so noises can be heard even just walking. (they could soundproof their walls a bit) -bigger lockers would be great. currently, only 1 is provided above the bed enough room for 13" laptop to be stored diagonally. depends on the person, the place does not encourage interactions with fellow guests given the noise would carry out even if you are just talking by the bathroom. (though this would be ideal for some who wants to be left alone).

generally had a good stay. it's a short walk fron Ueno (my preferred area), and has a subway station a few blocks away. no elevator so i was lucky to have just brought a backpack there was an odd occurrence one morning when the staff woke me up to tell me that i had to leave my bunk (i was planning on sleeping in) because they had to renovate the floor i was on. they moved me to another floor so i could go back to sleep (but i had to get up)

Every staff was nice. The fee was also so cheap. You can also use a mini locker at your bunk bed. I have stayed at many kinds of guest house, but for this, I couldnt find out any flaws standing out during 3days.

A great place to stay in Akihabara”

You really can't beat the Hiromas hostel for location and value for money. The location is really excellent and the facilities are comfortable. It's a short walk from lots of fantastic locations with plenty to see and do. I would absolutely recommend this hostel to the budget traveller.

this facility surrounded by 3 station. 1st is JR station Okachimachi (750m- walking 7 minutes), Metro Sta Suehirocho (ginza line) and 1 more is Yushima sta (chiyoda line). The benefit of taking accommodation near JR station is very convenient while you bring your suitcase (elevator available). The facility it self is good enough, clean, no breakfast, new towel every day, but I got room in 4th floor, no elevator so you need to take your belonging into 4th floor. If you dont mind it is good for that kind of prices. Near the facility there is mc d, family mart, sukiya, but the most good one is osaka osho its the best one (eating gyoza and fried rice/ ramen). Many food stalls are centralized in Okachimachi station you can find kfc, tendon, ramen, Chinese food even indian food. Anything can be improved is just installing elevator, then the score may hit perfect.

Nice location, good price, and clean. The bunk bed was okay, looked more like capsule bed than your usual bunk bed. The place also quiet, good for resting after walking around city the whole day. The bedding for the bed was a bit too hard, though. I was staying in the female dormitory. During my stay, mostly it was quiet and everyone was respectful enough not to talk too loud late at night.Too bad during my last night staying there, one of the newer guest bring her boyfriend inside the room and talking in her bed, even though it's FEMALE dormitory. Luckily the man didn't spend the night there, otherwise it would be too uncomfortable for the other women guest who want some privacy from male guests.

The location is very staregist, near from station, near from some restaurant & lawson or seven eleven and They have excelent staff that very helpful. But, if you stay only 7 days they cant clean your bed. Because they have rule, they can clean your bed if you stay more than 7 day. I think this hostel must change the rule, maybe they can clean guest bed every 3 days. And, will better if they have microwave. But, overall it's a good place for stay.

As Close To Geek Heaven As Possible”

HIROMAS HOSTEL in Akiba ticks a few things in my list: - near to public transport - near to Akihabara - cosy - good staff Lawson is just a walk away, and there are many food options nearby. It is also quiet, and in the morning is pretty solid. They have free coffee, and there is also an in-house bike rental service. Don't let the lack of lift turn you off; You get a real futon in your capsule but no tatami for any allergies that may occur. I'd recommend this place to friends who are soloing or even in a group. Just be warned: If you are not into co-ed lodging, this place is not for you. While there is a female-only floor, other floors are mixed. Still going to recommend.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They are enthusiastic to explai everything and they welcome questions. The place is very clean especially the bathroom. You have everything there and there is a locker for valuables. The only problem is when other guests are loud or walk with heavy feet.

Location is good, near the subway station and within walking distance to the Akihabara JR Station. The free espresso coffee is great. Free towel every day. One of the receptionist is extraordinary helpful, she went extra miles to provide me info about attractions in details. There is no elevator here, but I like climbing steps, good for health. No curfew, absolutely free.

Everything is excellent！！ The very cute & nice staffs, the pretty convenient walking distance to metro station and the quiet living environment... I will definately book this hostel next time when I travel to Tokyo.
