Our stay at Hotel Atrium was largely very positive. Upon arrival, one staff member informed us that early check-in wouldn’t be available until 3:00 PM. However, another staff member later went out of their way to kindly allow us to check in at 1:30 PM, especially since we were staying for five nights. After a long, jet-lagged journey, this flexibility was truly appreciated. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with super fast Wi-Fi that worked perfectly throughout our stay. One small downside was that the hot water took a while to heat up, but it wasn’t a major issue. The standout feature, however, is the excellent location. The hotel is by a lively market area with many traditional Korean eateries nearby, making it ideal for experiencing authentic local food. Despite construction taking place next door, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, and we had no trouble resting well. Overall, despite some minor inconveniences and a bit of inconsistency with early check-in, the friendly service, great location, quiet atmosphere, excellent Wi-Fi, and good value for money made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice place to return to and relax after a long day out - Room is a good size, with enough space to lay out luggages and sufficient closet space, and I appreciated the table for getting ready - Room isn’t the newest (some signs of aging), but it was clean, well kept, and comfortable - The bed was VERY comfortable - Staff was helpful and did their best to assist with any concerns - Getting breakfast wasn’t a need, but it was a convenient add-on to my booking - Luggage storage was definitely a plus I do suggest bringing an extension cord if you need one, since the only outlet (other than in the bathroom) is on the table, which is behind the bed. All in all, I had a good stay!
Stayed at Hotel Atrium Jongno Seoul and we had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful and the area is very quiet — you can really sleep well at night. What I love the most is that they clean the room every day. After a long day of exploring, it feels so good to come back to a fresh and tidy room and just rest. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the station, and there aren’t many restaurants nearby. But there are some cozy cafés perfect for breakfast, plus there’s a Starbucks right beside the hotel which is very convenient. Overall, highly recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Seoul.
Our 5-night family stay at hotel atria was unfortunately quite uncomfortable. The only positives were the hotel’s location and the relatively spacious quadruple room. What made the experience uncomfortable was that none of the reception staff could communicate in english, which made things very challenging for us as tourists. We constantly had to rely on translation apps to communicate. When we first entered the room, there was a strong cigarette smell that disappeared on the second day. The bathroom floor was also extremely cold and uncomfortable. On our last day, we were even reprimanded during breakfast for wearing room slippers, despite the fact that it had not been an issue on the previous days. This felt unreasonable, as we were there on vacation, not in a office Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations for a family holiday.
I enjoyed my time here overall. The hotel is in a great location, which makes getting around and exploring very convenient. The rooms are spacious enough and have consistently hot water. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff were kind and accommodating throughout my stay. On the other hand, the room view was not very impressive, and the bathroom could benefit from a bit of renovation or improvement. Despite these small drawbacks, it’s still a comfortable and convenient place to stay, suitable for travelers who don’t mind a couple of minor areas that could be improved.

Book this hotel at your risk if you wish for your souvenirs to be stolen. The only outsider that came into our room was the cleaner and some of our souvenirs went missing during one of our night stays. Not only that, the beds were not 100% clean as I found a few strands of hair on the bed sheet when I first entered the room. The hair does not belong to me as they were too short to be mine. Also, the bed sheet had a few black spots on it. The bathroom also had a weird smell coming from it from time to time. I will never book this hotel during my stay in Seoul again.
the staff is the first five-star! super foreigner-friendly and always willing to help, u only need to clarify ur needs to them. the location is def great for someone who'd love to explore a more traditional side of korea (gyeongbokgung, gwangjang market, hanok village, etc.), but not really the one for those who want to go shopping and following the trends (seongsu, apgujeong, department/duty free malls, etc.); although it's ~1-2km away from myeongdong. the facilities are okay. 12 floors so the elevator's speed is def better than other high-storey building, and there's a garden on the 12 floor too! i've booked a double superior and got a room with sufficient space for 2 people unpackaging. the bathroom is like half of the room but no prob for me, although there's no toothbrush/toothpaste (gg reviews are a must-read before arriving, i brought mine thanks to them) and u must bring an adapter if u wanna use a hair tool inside. the best thing abt this hotel is its superior buffet, perfectly matched my taste 😋 even if u don't request room makeup, they'll still do it for u (and the quality is top notch) so if u don't want that, i think u must tell them beforehand. thats all i think. enjoy ur trip with atrium!

Booked a Superior Double room for a VERY LOW last minute deal! Couldn't believe how cheap it was, probably was the last room available in the hotel. Very nice hotel that was at one time one of the best hotels in the area. It's looking a little tired, including the rooms. Very clean and the location was convenient. Walk to Gwangjang Market, subway, Seewon Square Jewelry/Watch center and a large intersection to catch a cab. Plenty of places to eat and shop in the area. Compared to the Mayplace Hotel, which is in the same area, this is WAY BETTER! FREE parking!! I would stay again!

The room may look a little dated, but it’s impressively clean and well maintained. The toiletries are surprisingly high quality, and the bedding is crisp and comfortable, making for a restful stay. The location is excellent—just a 5‑minute walk to Gwangjang Market and conveniently within the airport limousine bus drop‑off and pick‑up point, which makes arrival and departure very smooth.
Stayed here for the weekend. It was comfortable and had a great view. Location was a bit from the underground, but well within other public transportation systems. Overall not a bad stay!

Breakfast was delightful even though it’s only until 9:30am. Place is a bit outdated but clean. Location is closed to Gwangjang Market, Jongno Church, convenient stores, hanbok rental and next to Starbucks. I just hoped the hotel will also provide toothbrush and toothpaste set… But overall, place is comfy and we are lucky because it comes with great view of Namsan Tower…

For its price ($** AUD PP/night), it had amazing amenities, really consistent room cleaning and relatively large and modern rooms particularly considering its proximity to major tourist attractions. The concierge at the front desk is friendly and professional, and I ask people staying here to ask his recommendations on nearby eats and shopping.
The location of the hotel is superb, near public transportations and restaurants. There are also lots of convenience stores nearby and the Kwangjang Market is just a few steps away. Will definitely book again when we come back to Seoul.
The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk to Jongno5 station, and from there, 3 subway stops to Seoul station. Bus stop is a few mins away. The night street food scene was lively. I only tried 1 place which was ok. Room was very clean. I would stay there again.

It’s really a comfy hotel in a great location. Super near gwanjang market, bus stops are all around you and two subway lines are within walking distance. The area itself Jongno has everything you need. The room is clean and spacious for a solo traveler like me :)

This was a great place to stay if you don’t want to stay in a completely touristy area. The rooms (especially the beds!) were extremely comfortable after spending whole days out. The front desk staff were helpful to arrange taxi for the airport and advise for our family’s early departure. Walking distance to Gwangjang market and blue bus line access was easy to navigate. Breakfast buffet was pretty good too.

The bed was comfortable and the WiFi was really good. The air conditioning keeps the room cool but it's very old and loud. The shower is awful due to the low flow head but it does the job. The room could be cleaner, some stains on the bed clothes and some trash left behind from previous guest. Overall I'd recommend, near to the metro and markets.
Location of the gotel is good, close to main palaces, within reasonabke walking distance -Changdeokgung (창덕궁), Gyeongbokgung Palace 경복궁, Bukchon Hanok Village and other tourist places. Bus stop, metro lines - close, good if want to go to other parts of Seoul. Good breakfast, free parking.
The hotel is at a good location with many cafes and stores nearby. The staff is polite. The rooms are also clean and comfortable. The stay here was worth the price. I would surely recommend here if looking for a luxury stay at affordable price.

I stayed at Hotel Atrium Seoul for one week and absolutely loved it. The breakfast was excellent. After a week it naturally repeats a bit, but the selection and quality were great. The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice view. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The location was perfect, central yet quiet. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Fully recommended.
Good: The location is good, and the hotel itself is clean and there is not anything aesthetically wrong with the rooms. The breakfast was also good overall in the variety and quality of foods they offered. Bad: The door to our room would not shut all the way unless you pressed on it to close it. The door was even left open and unlocked after being cleaned in the morning as a result, leaving our belongings potentially open to theft. The room itself was also difficult to warm up, and didn’t have great insulation. The biggest issue, however, was the toilet not allowing toilet paper to be flushed and the lack of sufficient warning that toilet paper is not meant to be flushed. The toilet got clogged and we had to call them to unclog it. While the price and location were good it’s still not a hotel I would go back to especially given the other options available in Seoul.
Great location n value of money. Walking distance to Gwangjang market selling food. Also closed to bus stop n station. The bed is really good. It would be good if the bathroom has higher washbasin n wider bench to put more stuff. In general we enjoy our stay. Thank u for having us.
Loved the location, there was a lot to do within walking distance. It was a nice room, great view and relatively quiet. Staff was really nice and helpful, although there was a bit of a language barrier. But I truly appreciate the help after checking out to get to the destination I wanted to go to. Translation Apps helped and the two ladies were really trying to help and eventually we did find the answer I was looking for. Breakfast was okay, a few more options would have been nice in terms of fruit or baked goods or oats, but it was okay. The meatballs were really great! The leather or leather optic on the chair in the room showed a lot of usage and needs to be replaced. Other than that it was a nice room, comfy bed, good bathroom a d great size. Would definitely stay here again for a few days on my next trip.

I had a great two-night stay with my family. The staff was incredibly hospitable, and the facility was very clean and pleasant. We loved how close it was to all the famous sites. We'll definitely be back.

I liked the smell when I entered the room. Room is quite big enough and comfortable beds. Good buffet breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of Seoul, so much so that I was able to walk to most of the tourist destinations that are clustered in Jongno/Myeongdong area. The room itself isn’t particularly good or bad. It is just like any other hotel rooms. If you look really closely though, you might be able to spot a couple of signs of aging here and there, but otherwise, it is very well-maintained and overall in great condition. As someone who doesn’t have bath tub at home, I really appreciated its presence. Great breakfast. A wide sumptuous variety of dishes ranging from continental to Korean, all made with quality ingredients.
The room was very spacious and beds were very comfortable. Gwangjang Market is only a few minutes away. It is walkable to Gyeongbok palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong, Iksondong, Cheonggyecheon, Uljiro Nogaro Street, Myeongdong, Dongdaemun Market and so on.
Overall is good place to stay and we book it during sale. Location is super, staff helpful, room clean, breakfast is great. Appreciate ur hospitality and service! Thank u!
The hotel close to the metro station, Starbucks etc, there is a local food market close by and a lot of restaurants. It was clean and spacious, with nice and big shower. The reception staff were amazing and helpful
Hotel Atrium's location is a peaceful area and near gwangjang market. If you like a quieter ambiance to rest after touring Seoul, this is a recommended area. Compared to myeongdong area which is much busier place. Depends on your preference. But my family enjoyed the peaceful ambiance and delicious breakfast buffet. The staff were also helpful and assisted us well with our concerns. Is is accessible to subway just about 5 mins walk away. The rooms are older though, but well kept. No bidet, if it matters to you. Has basic amenities provided.

We were in Hotel Atrium January 2025 and had a deluxe family room with 3 beds. The location is close to a subway station so getting around the Seoul area is easy. The property offered free breakfast which was good and there were enough food choices. The facility was maintained and kept clean fairly well. The room we had was clean but the shower head was a bit old and broken. Overall, the stay for 2 nights was good, although the price could have been a bit lower.

A walking distance to our favourite Gwangjang Market where the food is savoury and affordable. Walkable to other tourist spots. The room is spacious for 4 adults, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. Very much recommended for the location

I would highly recommend the Atrium Hotel for a family of 4. The Deluxe King room was comfortable and sufficient for the 4 of us. The breakfast was basic and didn't change much, but we enjoyed the fact that it was included in our stay. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to Jongo5 Station and Gwangjang Market, and about a 10 minute walk to Euljiro 4 Station. For those more willing to walk, it is about a 30 minute walk to Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and the surrounding shopping Malls (ie Doota Mall, Migliore). For a 4 person room, you can't get much better value then this hotel.

Everything was clean, breakfast was great. Only deducting some points off from the staff who for some reason couldn't help us get a taxi and at the same time despite our request, denied our access to our room AC. I know it's to save electricity and probably a government mandate. I would've understood if that really was the case but we literally stayed in Busan and Jeju as well after here and we didn't have a problem turning on the AC nor did they mention a rule about it.
I stayed here with a family member. The hotel room was clean and not too small. The only issue was not beinf able to flush toilet paper down the toilet as it would easily get clogged. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

The facilities were a bit old, but the heating worked well, so I had a warm and comfortable stay. The location was excellent since it was close to major landmarks. Additionally, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would love to stay here again the next time I visit Korea.

Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Location was convenient with nearby subway station and bus stops. Room was quiet and we could see namsan tower and city street view from our room. We loved it. We had hotel breakfast with various choice and we enjoyed it. Family room with three beds were perfect choice for us. Overall a solid choice for my family trip
This hotel is located in a very convenient place which has lots of tourist attractions around (from 1-5km); and easy to use public transports. The staffs are nice and helpful. Just several minutes, u can get to Gwangjang traditional market and enjoy everything. I’ll be back here next year.

Near the bus stop and train station. 1-3 rides away from most tourist places and shopping districts . Near the market for great food ! Hotel is basic - clean rooms and bathroom. Breakfast to fill your stomach . A very practical choice .

Everything was fair for the category of hotel, should offer complimentary breakfast but that's ok, only reason I deducted one point from cleanliness is cause the bath towels were not off good quality and torn. Other than that all is well.
We had great time time staying in Hotel Atrium for 5nights & 6days. It’s our first time in South Korea and I just booked the hotel based on the location and reviews & it didn’t disappoint me and my family. Good location, clean room & accommodating staff.
