Location wise, this was easy to travel to from Incheon Airport via the Limousine Bus. Very near lots of shops, at the heart of Myeongdong food stalls and literal goldmine for shoppers like us. It’s also easy to navigate from here travelling to landmarks and locations, they have several bus stops and subway stations near the hotel. It was a solid 10/10 experience, convenience-wise for us. For the place itself, we expected a bigger room considering the price but guessed that it had more to do with the location than the facilities. The double room is not exactly small, can open and still fit 2 luggages but the space is nothing to write home about either. Like the bathrooms very much though, especially the Japanese-style toilet since most public washrooms don’t have bidets. The room was clean, kept clean everyday, and even if non-smoking, there is a designated smoking area at our floor so good. There’s a bit of noise outside since the hotel is practically center of the Myeongdong hustle, but nothing unbearable. Staffs can speak english and assist you, all are friendly and accommodating. Would 100% recommend this hotel, and definitely book with them again when we come back to South Korea.

Recently stayed at Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong for in a corner suite - made the reservation through Agoda and initially booked for 8 nights, however as we were arriving very early in the morning on our first day I ended up booking an additional night so that we could check in straightaway upon arrival. Even though the booking was through Agoda, the hotel made sure that we had the same room for the extra night so that we wouldn't have to move. The room was spacious and comfortable - hotel design is a little dated but that's more than made up for by the excellent location right in the heart of Myeongdong with things to eat and shop even late at night. The hotel is also close to two train stations if you wish to take the train. The hotel staff were all also friendly and helpful. They were happy to assist when we requested for certain items like luggage racks etc. and granted a late check out upon request. One feedback perhaps would be that the corner suite (we booked a room for 3) should have 3 chairs instead of only 2. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at this hotel, the first being Dec 2023. The hotel had gone through slight renovation and included some new shops such as a 7-11, a Photo Booth and a clinic. Perhaps that is why prices has gone up since our first stay. Nonetheless, stay remains comfortable. Location is good as it is close to the main myeongdong market but far away enough to be spared the crowds and noise. We are able to use the washer and dryer at the sister hotel next door which is really helpful. There is a small lounge area where we can chill at while we wait for our clothes. This area has also been renovated since 2023. There is a water dispenser at every floor which is great. What I dislike is the smoking area on my floor. Although the smoking area/room is confined but the smoke smell still comes out and the area near the lift has the smoke smell. Honestly, the hotel should just get rid of the smoking area and make smokers go downstairs to smoke.

I stayed at Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong for 3 nights and found the location to be its biggest advantage. It's right in the heart of Myeongdong, with shopping, street food, and a subway station all within walking distance. There’s also a convenience store in the basement. Reception staff were fine but not particularly warm. The person at the entrance was excellent — very helpful with directions and subway information. We stayed in a family room, which was clean and reasonably spacious. The bathroom was also well maintained in terms of cleanliness. However, the room felt quite dated — the decor, lighting, and furniture all looked old and in need of an update. The hallway leading to the room also gave off a worn-out appearance. One downside was the lack of basic amenities. Items like toothbrushes and razors weren’t provided — you’re expected to buy them from a vending machine or the convenience store downstairs. The shower head in the bathroom didn’t work properly, splashing water everywhere unless it was held by hand. Overall, this hotel is all about location and cleanliness. But in terms of facilities, comfort, and room condition, it falls short. At best, it’s a 3-star hotel. Suitable for short stays if convenience is your main priority.

First, I must say the location is super amazing. Just walk out the lobby and you’re in the Myeongdong street with lots of shopping and restaurants!! Me and my friends felt tired to go elsewhere so we went down for dinner at 10pm, there were still quite a few restaurants open and food was amazing. There is also a night market in the street, making it more fascinating! The train station is just 30 seconds away, very convenient. There is also a currency store right opposite the hotel. Second, the staffs are very polite. Compared to my last stay in another hotel, these staffs greeted us everyday and opened the door for us, as well as serving us with a pleasant attitude. Big love on that. Last, the triple-bedroom was clean, and wasn’t small, just right for 3 people. I’d recommend this hotel for those who are looking for a place for shopping and food nearby!!!

The hotel is very well located right in the heart of the Myeongdong shopping street, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and provided all the usual amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing, which I think is common in Korea, is that the room air conditioners/heaters cannot be individually controlled. On our first night, the heater had been set to 27.5°C which was uncomfortably warm. However, when we informed the hotel, they helped us turn it off. Later, it was set at 24°C which was comfortable. All in all a good and pleasant stay

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in Myeongdong. The location is outstanding—right in the center of the shopping and night market area, with easy access to the subway and airport transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite and accommodating. Amenities are somewhat limited, and there is no power outlet near the bed, which may be inconvenient for some guests. This was our second stay here at Skypark Central. Perfect location in Myeongdong, just a few of minutes away from the street food, Lotte, shinsegae, subway, airport bus stops. Room was very spacious for 3 people, even has space for extra bed. They even have the LG styler, perfect to get rid of the smoke smell from eating Korean BBQ. Very convenient to travel to different tourist spots as the subway and bus stops are near. Breakfast was also good. You can even make you our bibimpap. Water… no problem, they give you water bottles every day and they even have water stations/dispensers on every floor. They have Wowpass machine in the lobby area to buy cards and reload. A Photoism booth to capture that special moment. We even got to borrow an umbrella when it rained for free. Staff are nice, they greet you when you pass by. Hotel might look dated but very clean. Highly recommend this place if you want a place in Myeongdong.

Very convenient location. 7 eleven right below hotel. Just turn left, walk 3 mins is largest Olive young myeongdong and myeongdong shopping street. Near myeongdong mrt and eujiro mrt stations and bus transfer stations. Hotel Staff is very nice also, help you to put wet umbrella into plastic and recommend better rooms to you. Cleanliness also very good, everyday my room is clean by the staff although I didn't put the make up room sign up. Will stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is at an amazing location if you were to travel around myeongdong. The water pressure is quite strong however the water gets hot and cold , it alternates very quickly. There are shampoo conditioner and body wash provided. Room is clean . There are slippers and robes provided for in room use. There is a 7-eleven right below the hotel. I love how accommodating the staffs are. Each one of them are extremely helpful and kind. I will come back here for sure

We had a lovely 10 days at the hotel. Spacious rooms with big windows, allowing sun and natural air to come in especially during the winter when it can get stuffy. Location is super convenient. Very close to both Lines 2 and 4 subway and key bus stops. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are well cleaned. I also love the water dispense station that gave us access to drinking water anytime. Would definitely book at skypark central Myeongdong again.

My friend recommended this hotel to me so I am assured that Hotel Skypark is a good place to stay in Seoul. It’s best feature is definitely its location which is smack in the middle of Myeongdong. It has a lot of transportation options, a lot of tourist spots are nearby and you’ll never run out of food and shopping options. However, despite the busy location, it’s still very peaceful, quiet and safe and it doesn’t feel as chaotic as its surroundings. (SIDE NOTE: While I (and I’m pretty sure other people too) don’t consider this a deal breaker, I think what other hotels don’t have that Hotel Skypark Central don’t is it’s not exactly the designated meeting area for those 1-day group tours. Many tour companies have a designated Myeongdong meetup points and some are in front of certain hotels. But for Hotel Skypark Central, these meetup places are around 15 minutes by foot which isn’t very bad but it’s a plus for other hotels.) As for cons of HSP Central, they do not give out as many bathroom amenities as in other hotels I’ve stayed in. No free toothbrushes, disposable razors and facial wash were available for guests and you have to buy these if you need them. Only one set of amenity kit was given, too, which has a few cotton pads, cotton buds and shower cap. It never got refilled/replied iirc. However, I think the pros still outweigh the cons and I still highly recommend HSP Central to anyone visiting Seoul.

Room is spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is good as it is near the subway station as well as the bus stop for airport limousine bus. Easy access to all the shops in Myeongdong. There is a 7 eleven downstairs, Mega coffee and Fresh Bread Bakery are just right in front of the hotel. The only problem we had was the temperature in the room. Seems the temperature is centralised and couldn't be controlled individually. Sometimes it gets very warm in the middle of the night. Mini Fridge is very small. Pillows are low, so we requested for extra pillows. Other than that, all good.

Hotel was dated but they provided rental of stroller and comolimentary baby cot. Concerned when the cot set up included a free airline pillow(??) Feels slight insanitary as it was probably left by a fellow travellor and not sure how they clean it cause the casing was not detatchable. The strollers were of different models which makes me wonder if they were also left behind but we enjoyed th convenience of not bringing on from out country. Just had to wipe it down. :) The staff were always friendly, helped to book taxis when uber was not avail (but we did get scammed by our driver) Other than that, the room was nice, cold water pressure was strong. But not much counter space in the toilet for our personal items

The building looks a bit old and dated, but everything is clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, walking distance to bus stations and subway station, right in the shopping district but tucked away from the overly crowded alleys, so it still feels peaceful. The only downside is that the walls are quite thin, and you can hear conversations from the hallway. Still, for the price and location, it’s a solid choice for budget travelers.

Strategic location - Located at MyeongDong street but not at street centre. So, lesser crowd and noise disturbance. We able to shopping and put our stuff back to hotel and continue shopping again. Public transportation accessible - Walking distance to train station and shuttle bus to Incheon Airport. Save your cab expenses. Smooth communication - Receptionist able to communicate well in English. I originally requested for window view, but hotel assign me without window view. But somehow, they manage to rearrange me with new room on the next day. Cleanliness & Space - Not to expect super spacious room after open up your luggage, but we manage to fit a 24 inch & 28 inch luggage in our room. There is also room cleaning services everyday at our room, and they changed your towel daily too. This time I stay for 4 nights. Definitely recommended stay. Will visit again :)

The check-in process was smooth and effecient because it was conducted via machine and room key card will issued by machine.\ The front desk staff were welcoming and provided about the hotel amenities and services. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Our room was spacious and well appointed, featuring a comfortable bed, linens. The bathroom was modern and clean with all essentials provided. Complimentary toiletries and coffee is well provided. The location was perfect was just a walking distance from the street foods.

We went here as a group and we booked 5 rooms. Location is very good. Myeongdong is just a stone throw away and you can shop anytime you want. Hotel is clean and room is not small at all. Staff are very helpful. So many food around the area. 7-11 on the ground floor is a plus! We will book this again when we came back.

It’s perfectly located near tourist spots. Very near to Myeongdong Food Street and night market, Lotte Department Store, Shinsegae Dept, Namsan Elevator/Cable Car, Palaces and Markets. Convenient access to subways and airport bus (6015), so it’s easy to go around to other tourist spots. Surrounded by restaurants and convenience store (namely 7-11 in the same building). You can never go hungry. The room is a bit dated but relatively clean. We actually got the Princess Room (very cute for girls). Bottled water replenished daily. Hot water in shower was kind of very hard to control. It can get very hot. Sockets are type C/F but they have 1 universal socket and located just near the desk. Bed was comfy but very soft pillows. Enjoyed our stay here and will choose this hotel again when we come back.

This hotel is in a very convenient location in the Myeongdong area, within a few walks away the bustling main shopping street. It's near everything, with a 7-11 down the hotel and a photobooth studio. Moneybox is also directly in front and there are everal restaurants within walking distance. The subway's Line 2 and various bus stops, including the airport limousine bus stop, are also very close. The room comfortably accommodated us, three adults, and our three large suitcases, leaving ample space to move around. The availability of water dispensers on each floor was a great convenience. We didn't use the breakfast service, so I can't comment on it. The only drawback was the lack of a laundry area; the cold weather and our laundry needs prevented us from going to the nearby Skypark hotel II to have them washed. Overall, it was a great stay.

Booked this hotel upon recommendation from my friend. It was the first time my mum and sister went to Korea and the location was perfect. Close to Euljiro 1 station, the Myeongdong shopping streets, the night market/food stalls and within walking distance of all the big malls. We got the triple room, which came with 3 hand serums and a ticket to the photoism booth as part of the promotion package at the time. The room was spacious enough for the 3 of us our large luggages. The staff were friendly and placed us on a floor which seemed to be for ladies only (every door had a "princess house" sticker on them). Didn't really use any of the facilities so can't comment on those. The only negative issue we had was static electricity when we were in the room and lots of it, particularly after going to the bathroom. Although, we weren't sure if this was due to going in winter and the clothes we were wearing. Regardless, planning to stay here again on the next trip to Seoul!

The hotel has an excellent location in Myeongdong—just a short walk and you’re right in the middle of shopping areas. However, the rooms are quite small, and some do not have windows. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. However, when I booked a taxi from the hotel to the airport due to having several pieces of luggage, I was unable to pay by credit card. The driver requested cash, and the hotel did not inform me of this in advance. This almost became an issue as I didn’t have much cash left, but fortunately, I had just enough to pay.

Strategically located in the center of Myeongdong. Few steps away from the main actions of Myeongdong shopping. Near train stations, Euljiro and Myeongdong Station. Near pick up areas for group tours. Although the hotel looks outdated, still the hotel is very clean. Room Cleaning services are available every day leaving the room clean, neat and tidy. The triple room is good enough to open 3 large luggage. No airconditioning during winter, only heater is centralized. We had to request for an electric fan as it was hot inside the room. Buffet breakfast is good, with various selections from rice meals, breads, cereals, salads and fruits. Overall I will come back here at Skypark Central and I recommend this hotel.

If you are in Seoul for a short trip, location doesn’t get better than this - in the heart of the Myeongdong shopping area, yet relatively quiet and very clean. Facilities are basic and sufficient. Only downside is no undercover parking / loading area. We had to load up luggage in heavy rain and got completely soaked.

This place is located next to Myeongdong’s main shopping area, with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping options nearby. The subway station is also close, and the housekeeping was done perfectly during our stay, so we had a very comfortable time here.

The prime location Myeongdong Seoul, but not noisy. The staff is friendly. We got new renovated room, clean, with good facilites and spacious. The exhaust sound in our room is disturbing and we cant turn it of,. guess because the room doesnt have facing outdoor window so that is the only ventilation.

Unbeatable location, convenient for exploring Myeongdong market and food stalls. Rooms are decent and clean, aircon/heater is centralized though so we had to open the windows to somehow get some cold air. Breakfast is almost the same daily, nicer if there are more variations.

It was located at the end of the Myeongdong shopping street, which was very convenient. Also close to the shuttle bus from the airport and train station. The bath tub really helps after a long day of walking. It was also very clean even the kettle is clean on the inside.

I had an excellent experience staying at Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong for 2nd time in 2024. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Myeongdong, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. It was incredibly convenient to explore the area and return to the hotel to rest before heading out again. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with sufficient amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The room size is really spacious & cozy. Overall, Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Seoul. It offers great value for its location and service, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

This was our second stay at this hotel (first in 2023). The hotel is just as good as our previous stay and were very happy with the service and amenities provided. The hotel is clean, comfortable, quiet and centrally located to an endless variety of shops, restaurants and public transport with the closest station being Myeongdong Station which is about a 6 - 7 minute walk away. Myeongdong Station is a common pick up/drop off location for day tours which is very convenient as you would leave early morning and by the time returned the Myeongdong Night Markets were in full swing. The Night Markets are really close to the hotel and every evening from about 4-5pm onwards the food stalls start setting up and the area becomes abuzz with tourists and locals alike until late. Even with all of this activity we never had any issues with noise in our room. The hotel will also allow you drop off your luggage if you arrive earlier than your check-in time. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious room with comfortable beds after a long day of shopping and exploring.

Would recommend this hotel simply because the location is very good, just a short walk to the main myeongdong street which has everything. Attractions and good restaurants nearby too. However, for the 6 nights when I was there, I only managed to have the staff make-up my room once, on the day when I was out for a full day tour. On other days, when I return to the hotel for a break at 2-3pm, the room is not cleaned yet and since we needed to occupy the room, we asked to skip the housekeeping. For other travels that I went, housekeeping is usually completed in the morning so I’m not sure if this is considered slow. Also, we booked two twin rooms, which was stated to be 25sqm, slightly bigger than a double bed room. However, one room was obviously bigger than the other. No space to open luggage in the smaller one.

“Centrally located hotel”
We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. The location is right at the heart of Myeongdong shopping district. We chose it to be able to go out by walking at night and enjoy the place. The corner room suite is spacious and the room has big windows to view but just buildings to see. The bathroom with bath tub is a plus after long walks and tiring day is good for soaking. Toiletries is good just bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste you have to buy in the vendo machine downstairs. Not a big problem since we always bring our own. The pillows have soft and hard ones both available. Towels are clean. The housekeeping changes linens daily and replenish the water. Having water dispenser in our floor is a plus. There’s 7/11 convenience store right down the hotel. Money changer kiosk inside the hotel. There’s a lot of restaurants around the area and just a walk a way if you want to eat street foods. Korea Mart and Lucky Store walking distance. There’s subway near the hotel. Centrally located if you want to explore Korea. Myeongdong Cathedral just walking distance. We had the breakfast buffet and it was always the same daily but still a good one. Not so much of a choice but still okay. The service and front desk staff are very helpful and accommodating. Overall nice hotel to stay if you want to be in the area.
