Although I’ve only stayed in this place for 2 days, this hotel was a wonderful place to stay, with many pros but also some cons. Pros: • The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, as they give in all of their effort to ensure a pleasant stay. The second I entered, the staff approached us and helped us with the check in using a kiosk which made it a fast and smooth check in. To add on, I requested for help regarding some confusion with the buttons in the room, thankfully another staff came to our room and explained in perfect detail about the functions. • Great location of the hotel as it is in Dongdaemun, allowing us to explore nearby attractions such as DDP, and convenient stores such as GS25, CU, and 7 Eleven are all within a 3 minute walk from the hotel. In terms of transportation, The airport limousine bus is just nearby, about 5 minute walk from the Baiton Hotel stop. The place is also accessible to nearby public transportation, which is very convenient. • Cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate, the place is spotless, and the vibes feels like a luxurious hotel. • Service: They provide free water on every floor just around the lift, it definitely saves a lot from buying bottled water. If you also have anymore confusion regarding the hotel, they provided us a paper with all of the instructions. • Price is good, especially as someone who is on a budget. • Wi-Fi is strong Cons: • The room is quite small, and with the fact that I carry lots of luggages is a burden to open all of them inside the room. • They don’t provide amenities such as toothbrush and toothpaste so please bring your own. Don’t worry about the rest, they provide towels, face towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. If you didn’t bring any toothbrush or toothpaste you may buy it in their lobby for 3000 won for 1 and 2 for 5000.

We stayed at Hotel Skypark Dongdaemun 1 for a leisure trip and had a very pleasant experience. Our room had three beds and was spacious enough to accommodate us comfortably. The hotel smelled great all the time and was consistently clean throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We were allowed to check in an hour early, and when we requested extra comforters and pillows due to the chilly weather, they were promptly delivered. The staff also showed us how to operate the AC and lighting features in the room, and were always available to assist with anything—from towels to additional amenities—at any time of the day. One thing we appreciated was the use of a security code instead of a key card to access our room, which was convenient and secure. The breakfast buffet was another highlight. It included a good mix of Korean and American dishes, with the menu changing daily. For the price, the breakfast offered excellent variety and value. The location is also fantastic—close to the Dongdaemun markets and several malls, making it very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Skypark Dongdaemun 1 for its comfort, cleanliness, great service, and excellent location. It was a perfect choice for our leisure trip to Seoul.

From the moment we walked into the hotel, it felt like a home away from home. Traveling with family can be stressful, but this place made everything easy and comfortable. The location is fantastic — quiet enough to relax, but with everything you might need just a short walk away, including a neighborhood with familiar shops and food from back home. One thing that really surprised us (in the best way) was the laundry room on the second floor. It might seem like a small detail, but when you’re traveling as a family, having a washer and dryer available is a total lifesaver — and so rare in hotels! The staff? Absolutely wonderful. Kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. We never felt like just another guest — they remembered us, asked how we were doing, and offered help even before we asked. It’s not just a place to sleep — it’s a place where you feel taken care of. We wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else.

My friends and I stayed here for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed our stay. It is close to the Baiton Hotel Airport bus stop so it was super convenient and fairly cheap. Our room was basic but exactly what we needed between the 3 of us. The staff is also lovely plus when we were unfortunately sick and sent to hospital, the staff were very helpful and friendly by calling the ambulance and checking up on us once we arrived back. We were taken care of well and had our room made up well every day. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

The staff are very helpful, warm and friendly. They are always smiling including the house keeping crew. They make me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The room is well kept, clean and not dusty. I was able to rest well and feel comfortable in the cold weather. The location is convenient to get to seongsu, myeongdong and anguk area. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore the area. The airport bus stop for ICH is right next to the hotel. Fantastic for arriving/departing from Korea. The cleanliness of the property is impressive, facilities are well maintained and provide most things needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent service we received even before we arrived. The Reservation specialist (Kate) advised me on the best way to get to the hotel from Incheon Airport, which I appreciate. Upon arrival, the hotel staff greeted us and helped with self-check booth. The fuss-free process was amazing considering that we had traveled a long journey and were very exhausted. The same goes with the Check-out process. Thumbs up. The room was neat, very clean and comfy. The Bathroom & toilet are just nice with toiletries that are infused with hair & body treatment ingredients (the products are sold separately at the lobby) and automatic toilet seat with bidet and dryer. Location location - very strategic and convenient with easy access to/ from Airport Bus stop. Four stops away to Myeongdong for vibrant choices and practically to everywhere around Seoul. Food is easy to find and convenient stores are around the corner, 2-3 mins walking distance. We love our stay there and would stay there again in the future. Highly recommended.

The staffs always welcoming us with smile and assistant from checking in to the extra request/questions like where to exchange the money, where to get our clothes ironed etc. Hotel is clean, quite, and has a convenient access from Incheon airport by limousine bus! For the price paid, the room was pretty basic. General outlook was old. The TV was small and it not being a smart TV meant that only Korean channels were available. Floor space kind of small too and I could only open the luggage by placing it on the bed. On a positive note, check-in was seamless. I was impressed by their automated e-kiosks and use of electronic locks with codes instead of cards (although I really wonder how safe it is as you room door only has a single code lock and latches). Breakfast, although not at extensive spread, was great as all the dishes were very delicious (Quality vs Quantity) - the Korean fried chicken was the best 👍🏻 Location wise, it is conveniently located at Dongdaemun History and culture park station and there are 3 metro lines here. However, you have to use exit 6 in and out of the station and this exit has a lot of steps to climb. This train station offers better public transport connectivity than even myeongdong. However, no much food and shopping around this area. Was not too much of a concern though as myeongdong is 2 train stops away. If you do not want to climb up and down the stairs in the metro station, many buses are available right in front of the hotel to myeongdong and the ride is less than 10mins.

We agree with what many people say about Hotel Skypark being a reliable hotel to stay in in Seoul. While this one wasn’t located in Myeongdong, the area also had many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The metro station is also near and you could always take an Uber to wherever you want to go. Also, many day tours also set their pick-up points in Dongdaemun area so overall this is a suitable alternative to the Myeongdong area in case prices go up too high during the holidays. As for the room, it is a bit small, but we were able to manage with our luggage, so it’s okay. Also, the bidet in our room wasn’t working though when we booked — we hope those things could just be checked prior to check in. That said, overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone travelling to Seoul for the first time (it was also our first time).

ダブルベッドで高層階のお部屋でした。 チェックインは機械でしたが、スタッフさんが日本語で説明してくれスムーズでした。狭すぎるお部屋が嫌だったのでこちらのホテルを選びましたが、大きいスーツケース2つも問題なく広げれて良かったです。 東大門の中心地からは少し離れますが、バスを使ったので楽でした。 明洞までもバス１本で行きました。 地下鉄の駅も近いです。ただし帰りのスーツケースが重たかったので、エレベーターのある乗り場までは地上を少し歩きました。 コインランドリーも使えましたし、ウォーターサーバーがあるのも助かりました。WOWPASSのレートも良くチャージが出来て便利でした。歯ブラシとパジャマは持参が必要ですが、他に困ったことはなくとても快適に過ごせました。

Very near DDP and shopping areas (very walkable). A lot of local food places around the area. Was able to rest and sleep very well. Room size was ample enough to open 2 large suitcases at the same time. Bathroom in my room was great. Lay out of the room was great too. Appreciated the cleaning done every day. Available coin laundry. Nice classical music in the common areas. It can get crowded but the hotel didnt make me feel claustrophobic because of the ambiance and well lit areas. One of my best stays in korea!

The rooms are very small, but it is clean. If ur sole purpose is just for rest, then you will be fine. The location, is not bad. There is a subway nearby, maybe a 3-min walk or so, however you will find that in most instances, depending on where you want to get to, you might need to walk to the further located subway, maybe a 12-min walk or so. If you are looking to explore night-life, this is definitely not the area you should be looking at. I personally liked sinchon and hongik university areas. The staff at ground floor, I felt was very unhelpful. We asked for toothpaste as we were running out - we were pointed to the vending machine. I didn't know I had to pay for basic toiletries for a 4 star hotel? We tried booking the DMZ tour, not through the hotel, and we were confused with the pickup location - we went to ask the staff which location would be closest to us for us to get to via subway, he basically said he didn't know where any of these stops are, or that they were very far. I would like to note that one of the pickup location was at lotte hotel seoul, which I am fairly certain is a well known location to plenty of people. Luckily, we worked all this out ourselves in the end. Overall, rooms are cheap and clean, but someone needs to consider providing the staff with more training on customer service perhaps. I am fine if the staff genuinely don't know, or if they sounded more apologetic that basic toiletries were not something that was complimentary, but it is more the way they provide their response that comes off as blunt, and I will even go as far to say that it might even come off to others as rude.

The location is fine, there is an airport bus drop off point opposite the hotel. The bus stop nearby is convenient for some place and only walk for 10 mins to DDP subway, instead of exit 6, I would recommend exit 4, as there are too many ups and downs staircase inside the underground . I have purchased the breakfast buffet, surprisingly, the taste is good. The hotel is clean and the staffs are nice and helpful. Besides, there is a WOWPASS machine in G/F, it is really convenient and the exchange rate is good too compared with the rate in the airport. Nice experience!

The hotel room was kept very clean, had everything I needed in the room. Other items like microwaves were in the second floor but it wasn't too much trouble. The staff were quick to help and advise, great service. They are there to assist you if you need and respect your decision if you choose to refuse their service. Professional and quick in their work. The location has various convenience stores, restaurants, some cafes and is nearby a subway station. The station itself is very difficult to navigate through (especially with heavy luggage because sometimes some areas only have stairs) but once you're out it's easy to locate the hotel. They also have a limousine service which is better for your physical and mental health while traveling.

I was on holiday in Seoul and booked this hotel in Dongdaemun. The staff were really friendly and helpful even though I arrived late close to midnight. The rooms were very clean and secure using key code to access the lifts and doors. No worries about losing your key card. The location is good as it is only a few minutes walk to the nearest metro station. There are quite a few good restaurants, cafes and convenience stores nearby. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you like a good business hotel at a good location in Dongdaemun.

Generally the room given to us is clean, especially that you can opt to have a cleaning lady do this on a daily basis. Seems weird that they would always miss dusting off the bed side table and TV screen. Maybe just mention next time. For 3 large luggage, it will really be a a little tightight. But if you are out most of the time, you wouldn't mind. Anyway bathtub was very clean, spacious vanity table, and decent cabinet with mirror to hang jackets and pants etc. They even gave us extra pillows when we requested. Location for me is really strategic to go to tourist spots (even near Myeongdong, malls, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, good restos) and accessible for public transits (i.e. metro, bus, airpprt limousine).

It was a pleasant stay. Although the room wasn’t very spacious, everything else was great. We were especially impressed by the quality of the staff. One staff member went above and beyond to help us find a ride to our next hotel. With our large luggage, it wasn’t easy to get a jumbo taxi due to the short distance, but he patiently assisted us until we found taxi that want to accept us. Overall, we’re truly thankful for his kindness and helping hands.

Good location in the Dongdaemun area if you are going there to do a lot of shopping. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Dongdaemun Shopping Plaza. There are airport bus pick ups and drop off locations about 5-10 minute walks away. The subway is also close. Just note that if you use exit 6 it will make you go up and down a lot of stairs with luggage so just use exit 4 and walk your luggage over instead. Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Spacious for two people.

good hotel, nice manager & staffs...i made wrong booking to the same name hotel but different area...& the manager helped me, transfer my booking to this hotel, even still gave me refund coz this hotel is cheaper then the other one... there's a big fight between man & woman at the room behind mine...they screamed, crying...i woke up because of the noise...i was afraid too...then i report it reception & they solve it very fast. big room, enough for 3-4peoples, spacy for big luggages too...very clean, big bathroom...smell good...(my nose is very sensitive) good breakfast...good reasonable price in a good tourist area...

3mins walk from exit 6 of Dongdaemun history and culture park station. But there's no lift for that exit and those other nearer ones. Flight of stairs before exiting the station. Incheon express bus that cost 17000won just nearby and that's a major plus point. Hotel is clean and atas looking, with bath tub. Housekeeping done daily and dutifully. Luggage deposit service available before check in time. Staff is friendly as well. Overall had a gd stay except the. Flight of stairs at station before reaching hotel.

This property has its quirks: no bedside outlets, lights require walking across the room and activating the smart device and no matter how you position the curtain, the shower will find a way to cover the floor in water. That said, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The location doesn't seem great at first, but there is an olive young, market and several restaurants downstairs in the building across the street. Wonderful small local restaurants around the corner, at least 4 convenience stores within a two block radius. You're not far from gwangjang market, you're close to a train station and bus stops, and all the major tourist attractions are accessible from this location. It's a treat. The room was very clean and big for Seoul standards. There's a bathtub in the bathroom, which is practically unheard of here. Having a bidet was a nice bonus. If there had just been a place to plug my phone in by the bed, I would have been happier. The property was great, I wasn't unhappy, there were just a few things that could have taken the stay from good to great.

We stayed at Skypark as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children age 5 e 8). I found the sleeping space to be very limited. And what I was shocked to find out later is that we left our luggages in the hotel because we went traveling to Busan. When I got them back, they had OPENED our luggages!!! We had used zip ties and they were cut open!!! I wish my spouse had told me earlier about this so I could ask them about this. But just be mindful if you happen to leave your baggage with the hotel (which was at least cost free!)

Good value hotel for the Dongdaemun area. Just be careful, there are so many Skypark hotels in the area, I wanted to book a slightly different one but didn't notice when I switched from Agoda on my PC to Agoda on my phone (because I couldn't be bothered trying to look up my login information for Agoda on my PC). In the end this was was just fine, but be careful.

The bathtub is so bad that every time your shower the water spills. There’s literally a wrong design that collects water and then push it to the floor. Plus the ventilation doesn’t work, the hot steam get stuck in the room. Also very bad WiFi, even public street WiFi is faster than the hotel WiFi. It’s just so bad. Also they only have us thin blankets and hoping we would crank up the heating to 25 degrees something.

Not convenient to carry luggages all the way to hotel from train. Go up and down stairs. We didn’t take direct bus from airport. The space is small for 3 persons plus 3 luggages. The room was warm and cannot adjust low temperature so open windows for cool. The staffs are friendly and nice.

pretty good area next to the subway which is super convenient and also you can walk over to the gwangjang market or DDP area! you got your basic amenities: lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper cups for tea and sachet coffees and water kettle + fridge. they also have coin laundry and clothes steam sterilizer on the 2nd floor + microwave there. So actually its pretty good for the price!

I received numerous bed bugs bites. It’s an older hotel with no electrical connections by the bed. I lost my room card and was charged $*** KRW. Almost all other hotels would give you a new room key card. Do not stay here - not recommended. So many other choices.
