5mins to JR/metro ikebukuro station and convenient for having a rest after back from other location. Although not a new hotel, it's still nice to have my night here with the clean room and it's my 2nd time to stay here. Will choose this hotel again.

Excellent for solo travelers”
This hotel was value for money, it was a good one night stay since i landed earlier than my husband. Location was good since there's food everywhere, just a bit further away from the main strip for shopping. The building itself is relatively old, there are cracks along the wall and stains. This didn't really bother me as i knew what i was paying for. The room was just big enough to fit myself and the luggage, maybe a bit more space for a second person. The shower was hilarious, the shower curtain would only cover 1/3 of the bathing area. It didn't anger me, i wouldn't give it a low rating just because their curtains didn't cover all the way. Aside from that, they still offer decent toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, shavers, towels, hand towels and hair dryer. Overall i was satisfied that i was comfortable enough, the ramen downstairs on the corner is a MUST. The line is ridiculously long but it is so worth the wait, queue with the locals since they know what is delicious.

Brilliant location”
Super close to Ikebukuro JR. The whole building needs a good revamp, but the room is decently clean. Own bathroom is definitely a plus.

Good Location but without some facility”
The hotel looks scary from the outside, as well as the hallway, but don't look fool you. The room is quite big and the bed is decent. The toilet is clean with basic amenities. The only bad thing is no WiFi, and path to the hotel from Ikebukuro station surface is quite rough for heavy luggage.

A practical place to stay”
The room had three very comfortable beds. There were no chairs in the room. The bathroom was practical but cramped. The room was generally very clean. It had a refrigerator but no microwave. Also, no word-fi. Overall- a good value for the money.

I'm used to higher standards of cleanliness in Japan. The location was good, a bit behind main station, many places to eat and combinis around and staff was good. However, the installation did not convinced me. Still can give it a try but not a great option though.

After booking, i arrived at Japan, had a very hard time finding the hotel because there was no english signage. After asking at the police station, i finally see the the hotel. Looking at the hotel room, it was very old,. It was not meant for family. I booked another hotel. My ¥12,000 was goodbye. Very worthless hotel. It was a hotel meant for "short time" not for family travel. Very dissapointing.

Not going back”
I booked for 5 nights for my bro and mom, but stayed for 4nights only. While the location is okay and the price is affordable, room is veeeery small. Just basic room with no drinking water provided. And what made this the worst??? the staff/caretaker is very rude. Very very very ruuudde! So nope. Never ever going back! Not even recommending this to anyone, even to my enemy.

Dirty and impolite ”
The room hadn’t been cleaned prior to my arrival nor any of the 10 days I stayed there. The bathtub and sinks were so dirty I cleaned them myself before using. They also don’t have WiFi, which is quite absurd at this day and age. The receptionist was always very rude and didn’t make any effort to help whatsoever, contrary to most Japanese services. The only good point was the location, but to me it didn’t weight out the bad side. It was overall a bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
