Lovely stay ruined by poor weather unfortunately. We had the room with private pool and although the persistent rain meant we couldn't use the pool, the room was lovely. Only downside for us was the food offering, it wasn't poor but it wasn't of the standard you'd expect for such prices.
We booked the grand pool villa. For the quality report, I thought the apartment was in a better condition. Everything was clean but we could see that the apartment had lived well because we saw small defects everywhere. Otherwise the room is spacious, very good location. The staff was great, very responsive and very attentive. The breakfast is good. I recommend the hotel

the worst villa in samui that i have ever visited!”
I have stayed many hotel villas in samui in the past and was very disappointed and feel sorry to tell other travellers that don't choose pavillion samui hotel for your stay. The reasons are as below: Overall poor management in reception and operation -The first day i arrive i requested both things: in villa cooking service by hotel chief and inflate swimming wings for us. Being a hotel serviced apartment, rare that did not provide in villa cooking service since other pool villas in phuket and samui always have that service but finally reception offered $ 2000 bahts for 3 hours in villa cooking service for us. Reception sent the chief from patio restaurant and we felt that the chief knew nothing about the details of in villa cooking service and impolite attitude. This issue made us see the weakness of communication on reception and the chief. Reception should provide full instruction to the chief and no need us to explain once again our need. secondly, forget to inflate the swimming wings for us. We have to call again to request our service. 2) We request reception to arrange car pick up service to airport at 4pm on the last day in sammui. We checked out from the hotel around 1:00 pm and paid full amount of the car pick up service. Finally, when we were back to the hotel and waited for the pick up service, they forget to arrange car pick up service for us. The above incidents should not occurred to a four star hotel since we see that very poor hotel management skills and did not put customer needs as priority. If i paid in cheap price for a hotel room, i may have tolerant to accept the below four star hotel service. I went back to my country for a few days and i don't find any email for apologize any inconvenient clause to us. Therefore, i think i should share my opinions with other tavellors. Beautiful pool villa without responsible hotel management service would not make a hotel success.
Bad Service compare with my previous visit ”
I have visited Koh Samui for 4 times within 2 years. This time I was staying in room which are the most expensive room in this hotel. First of all, the impression when I checkin was very bad, one of the front office staff was very rude (she spoke mandarin and wearing a black eye glass). The in room service also very bad, I have spend over 20000 THB for room service in 5 days, every time a guy with black shirt was very rude. Let me give 2 example 1. When he serve me lunch in my private pool side, I ask him to give me 3 more sets of bowl and spoon. He answer me impolitely and said "I already ask you how many persons, why don't you answer me accurately!". This was really bad experience to me. 2. When he serve me dinner at night time, location was also my private pool side. I signed the receipt with my Printed Name and Signature. After that he was very rude and said : "You have to write your room number! I have already said 2 times! Ahh!" The impression of this hotel was really bad compare with my previous visit to this room. Also the English level of all the staff in security, room service and housekeeping was really bad. However, the only value retain in this Hotel was one of the staff that I met twice before, she stationed in Patio during my visit. She is very passionate and nice, and understand what a customer need. She was stationed at front desk when I visit pavilion the first time in 2013. The old team was professional and makes me a return customer. However the staff level becomes very bad now and I think I won't consider this hotel as my first priority next time I visit Koh Samui. I believe for such pricing, I deserve better service. To conclude, bad experience.
此次入住two bedroom pavilion pool villa. 房間很大很舒適, villa內的pool雖然不大但是挺好的. 飯店泳池不大且沒有提供beach towel. beach towel都備在房間內有點不是很方便. 唯一美中不足的地方應該是早餐的選擇不多!
