Must Stay if in Pai!”
Beautiful accommodation on the quiet side of Pai. Ice (owner) was very kind and helpful when we needed anything. Simple breakfast/coffee provided and the rooms were incredible with an outdoor bathroom. We were very happy.
Basic but lovely bungalow, comfy bed but totally uncomfortable pillows, half of the bathroom under the sky which means it can be pretty cold taking a shower/sitting at the toilet in the mornings, basic breakfast (eggs, jam), the location's not great as it's 25min walk from the centre
Would definitely come back! ”
Only stayed here for one night, we came for the day from Chiang Mai but loved Pai so much we wanted to stay! Cute little hut, beds were comfy. Nothing to complain about! It is a bit far out if you don’t have a moped though!
Lovely and Simple”
Very grateful for the free pick up after arriving in Pai by van. The owner is a great guy who offered tips and sights to see in and around Pai. Rooms are very simple, but all one needs in Pai as there is plenty else to do. Thank you for a great stay Prilpai!
Simple and nice place. Quiet. Nice staff.”
Only the guy at the reception had good english, but that was enough mostly. Basic conditions, but good value for the price. No safe. Only a simple lock for the door. We thought about renting scooters but eventually we didn't, so got back to place every night by taxi, because it's pretty far from the center and the road is quiet dark
I was in pai for one night, finally stay longer and very happy I did not booked for more then one day over there! Bathroom in kind of out side, crack in the floor so welcome insect and rooster started to get crazy at 6am and never stop! The bed is super hard and I do not think they wash the blanket very often! Also a very cheap breakfast! Fill bad for the guy at the desk because he was very nice! So for the price, its was very bad.
Just book it you won’t regret it
Better than the photos, really awesome place and a breakfast in the sun was included. ”
Would definitely recommend for anyone staying in pai. Perfect for couples :)
The owner is super kind-hearted. ”
The place is located not far from walking street, very convenient though. The owner offered the pick-up service, he's good at cooking and has good suggestion for traveling in the North of Thailand. Should come here once in your life, i stronly recommend this place!
Nice staff, lovely environment”
Nice young owner and his family. Lovely environment, we stayed 1 night in the wooden house no.6 , unforgottable bathroom(open roof). The owner was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the rooms were fully booked on the next day, we just able to spent 1 night there. Ov
Nice place, noisy neighborhood”
The little bungalow was great, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was cute and open air which was fun. Breakfast was simple but good and the owner was friendly. It was a brief walk away from town but not too far at all, my only complaint was the neighborhood was a bit noisy in the early morning. I would absolutely suggest this place though!
Lovely guesthouse ”
Pril Pai is a small guesthouse run by a young couple. I like the environment in the guesthouse, quiet, beautiful with lots of green. It's very much like staying at home. Even siting at the open area doing nothing is a bliss. It's about 10 minutes to the town by motorbike. They also provide free bicycle.
Our host, I forget his name, was so chill and helpful. Gave us a discount on motorcycle and a ride into town to catch a bus to CXM. Bungalows nice and clean.
Quiet and peaceful stay at Pai”
We were doing the Mae Hong Son loop with the scooter and stayed only one night here, which is a pity. it seemed a place where you can come to rest. it is on walking distance of the white Buddha and 5min with scooter from the walking street. the bungalow was cosy but warm, no mosquito net. the family was very nice and helpful.
Quiet surrounding, simple and nice breakfast, clean bed.”
We reach at the town and rent a scooter from town to Prilpai directly. Basic bungalows.6 mins drive from town. We rent an air-con room so we just close the door and toilet door and escape from mosquito.
Incredible stay and nicest host”
This was the best place we stayed on our whole trip to Thailand and Cambodia. The host, Ice, is the nicest person and was the best part of our trip to Pai. We booked the wooden bungalow but after arriving and realizing we preferred the bamboo bungalow, he allowed us to switch immediately. Each day, our room was cleaned by the wonderful staff and our waters were replaced. The bungalow was large and clean and the semi-outdoor bathroom matched the nature-like atmosphere perfectly. The breakfast was basic but tasty and included toast, eggs any style, coffee, tea and fresh fruit. There is a "chilling" are near the kitchen which is really pleasant. Ice keeps a selection of books for guests to read and keeps calming music playing most of the day. It is about 2km away from the center (30 minute walk) but he provides free bikes with locks which we benefited from many times during our stay. We had many great conversations with Ice during our stay and he was truly an amazing host. Highlight of our trip!
We had an amazing stay, with great scenic view and relaxing atmosphere. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Quiet street far from the noise which gives you true out of town living experience. Short bike ride to town and all nature attractions. Amazing common space, chill like a jazz cafe with a good breakfast.
Away from the crowd ”
Pat, the owner, is a very lovely woman and welcomed me warmly. I decided to walk from the airport to the guesthouse, which was a good way to get to know Chiang Mai (I do not recommend this as it took me 90minutes). The room I stayed at was spacious and very clean, room service is available every day. Pan offers breakfast (american style), coffee and tea. I travel with a stainless steel bottle and was happy to find a water jar. Authentic and delicious Thai food can be sourced everywhere around Udee, usually for 30-40THB. The guesthouse is a 20 minute walk away from the old city, which suited me perfectly, and not too far away from the lake =) All in one - I loved my stay and would/will come back. Pat, I wish you all the best!!!!
Nice place, cozy and quiet. Close and convienent”
Staff was friendly, offered free rides to town when needed. Cozy and quiet. Booked a private bungalow for one night. Pretty clean considering your in a tropical environment and in a hut some critters are unavoidable but bed was comfy and down comforter was a plus for sure. Great value for the money. Free coffee, tea and some breakfast items. Would go back or recommend.
Great Stay, but Hard Bed”
Loved the location outside of the city. Its a quiet, peaceful setting. The wooden hut was nice with an outdoor bathroom and mosquito net. Only complaint is that the bed is super hard. It was like sleeping on a wood floor.
