Upscale resort in quiet scenic location outside of Pai”
Pros: Hip modern resort located in tranquil scenic location. Excellent breakfast, friendly/helpful staff Cons: Internet slow and unreliable, only one mirror in bathroom, no vanity mirror for ladies, no room safe. Over priced compared to other similar resorts in Thailand.
Dear Mr. John, Thank you for your recent review of your stay here at Puripai Villa. I was delighted to read you had such a positive experience. I have taken note of your comment regarding the Internet quality and Room Design. We look forward to welcome you back to Pai in the not too distance future. Best regards, Nunthawat H. Resort Manager
Excellent views. Staff were super nice and accommodating. We stayed in the regular rooms since that was the only room type that had 2 twin beds. We had some issues with the shower drainage where the water didn’t drain as fast. Also, the water coming out of the sink faucet and shower were a little mucky. I informed the hotel staff about this, they said the rain caused their pipe system to go haywire. If they can improve on these issues, I would definitely give them 5 stars. Anyway, hope to be back again in the future.
Staff isn't well trained in hospitality”
Cons: This is supposed to be a 4-5 stars resort but when it comes to service it provides it's quite far away. The staff is friendly but it's not easy to communicate with them. Just a few of them speak acceptable English and most of the others didn't really understand our needs. There is no room service, there is no laundry service and the resort was pretty empty. Pros: The facility is ok and the rooms (we had an entire villa with 3 rooms + private pool) with the whole view is no doubt really beautiful.

Superb view and in the quiet location (away from town)”
I like the view and like its distance away from town. It also offer nice swimming pool where kids and dad and spend all afternoon in and i just sit on the chair enjoy seeing them and reading my book. Not too friendly for the elder though because to have a good view we have to stay in the 2nd floor with no lift.

I am glad that you and your family enjoyed yourselves very much and had a great time during your stay at our resort. Lovely hotel set in beautiful surrounds”
Gorgeous setting with amazing views. Very peaceful and relaxing stay. Friendly staff, and really nice room. Good, spacious bathroom and really nicely done out. The only slight downside is that the hotel is about 10 mins out of town. The hotel runs a shuttle a couple of times a day so just means you have to work around that or get your own taxi which is fine. Quite nice to be out in the countryside
Love it ”
Good view Good time You need car or private vehicle to stay here. They have stunning view from villa. Villa has good space for our family of 6 people. It is time to relax and you can spend days here without going anywhere. Breakfast is so good.
Nice room, superb view”
The location is a bit far from town you may need to have your own vihicle or rent the bike from town also the hotel provide free service to walking street as schedule. We stayed in Deluxe room which has such an amazing mountain view from balcony. Room is clean with new modern decoration. We love this place and will come back for sure!
Stay @ the hotel”
This hotel has really nice design. It's good for person who enjoy nice spot for chilling, slow life without going nowhere just relax @hotel. I enjoyed atmosphere and architecture and also, perfect for photo shoot!
Gem hidden in the valley”
The villa that we stayed was spacious. The view from the room was stunning. We love the hammock in the balcony, it's very fun for the kids. The only drawback was the variety of the breakfast, but we can't complain much as this is the low season.
Melt me Away”
The stay was a pamper-me episode during a weeklong road trip up north through the Mae Hong Son loop. The rest of the hotels were just for a quick stay over where I checked in late into the night and left before the sunrise types. I was so happy I stayed there. The view was beyond awesome overlooking the paddy and into the lush green mountains beyond. And the hotel was such a magnet for relaxation that I skipped some of my travel itineraries exploring Pai and spent a whole afternoon back in my balcony sipping coffee with my notebook on and melted away in bliss. The room was lavishly decked out in tasteful wood and polished concrete. Glass separated the shower and the sleeping space. I could look out beyond into the screensaver like vista beyond my balcony while naked in shower. Their restaurant was really something and should be awarded the most chillax dining experience. Under the stars, the cold heavy air of wintery Pai engulfed the diners sat snugly into warm sofas. In the mornings, breakfast was a limited selection of buffet spread. What burned an impression was the skewered pork, otherwise known as moo-steak, I had on the first day. Thinly sliced, grilled to perfection and full of flavors. I had the Deluxe Room during my stay and I wished I could have afforded the villas that had a front row view of the natural surroundings. Well maybe next time. Pai will always be a winter season type place for Thais to welcome winter, but if you are staying here in the hotter months, they had a pool between the restaurant area and snooker room that shared the same splendid view looking into the mountains beyond. Immediate vicinity, do not expect to find a host of restaurants nor a Seven Eleven. This resort was really worth it, it relaxes your soul, will rest your mind, and you will melt away in paradise.
PuriPai is my new favourite hotel in Pai. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful views over the valley. The pool area is great. I sat by the pool for a day sampling cocktails - amongst the nicest I've tasted in Thailand. The staff were exceptional. Very welcoming and friendly. Wifi worked well in my room and outside by the pool. The one downside to PuriPai is that it is located outside of town - however, this is also one of its plus points so I'm not letting it dampen my opinion. The hotel runs a regular shuttle bus into town. Usually it goes to the 7/11 and back, though when I caught a ride it was raining so the driver took me directly to the restaurant I was eating at! All round great hotel! I can't wait to go back. I was upset when I returned to Pai and PuriPai was booked out ;)
by far the best hotel I have stayed in at Pai ”
By far the todate the best hotel that I have stayed in Pai in the 7years I have been coming to this town and I've been to most , staff where excellent , location great view , hotel room very good , swimming pool area good , short distance from the town of Pai but easy to reach . Will be returning to this hotel again in the near future
Best experience in Thailand”
everything was perfect. I will visit Chiang Mai and Pai due to Puripai villa. This wonderful villa is an enough reason to take holiday to Pai again.
Dear Mikyung, Your appreciation of our hotel facilities and of our team is truly heartwarming and we are all truly inspired by your comments to continue to strive to offer even better service to our guests in the future. Thanks for choosing to stay at our hotel and we hope to be able to create a memorable experience for you again when you next return to stay with us. Kind regards, Nunthawat H. Resort Manager
Good view but have to stay only room at the in front of building.”
Need to fix water system at the behind building(stay at room 305)The water smell like waste water. At first we think smell from pipe so we used water for showing that make us icy. Very disappointed from our expectation. I assume that because I book room through Agoda that why we got room at the behind building which is not the good view as advertised in the website. Although I’m booking 4months before date and I also made conversation directly to their staff to request good view room (they confirm with me by verbal that make me expectation) but when we arrived the answer is I got this room since the booking! I feel bad to book room from Agoda and got seconds priority. Need to improve about room management and customer expectation is priority. Overall staffs have service mind.
Puripai villa was a great choice.”
For those who really wants to go to pai to relax and chill, this is the villa just for you. It is like a private place for you to have some quiet time alone, or with your loved ones. The staff was really polite and professional. Friendly too. Facilities was great, they have a great pool, with a restaurant with a great view just around the pool. Room was nice too. Highly recommended, and will definitely come back again. You pay for what you get ;)
Fairly new & modern hotel with stunning views about 10mins drive from Pai town. Mystic Room was spacious with beautiful views, pool was nice as was the barn. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. Only negative was the shuttle bus, I've never stayed at a hotel where guests have had to pay for the shuttle bus, a little disappointing considering it was only a 10min drive.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my stay here. I LOVE PAI AND PURIPAI VILLA! Pai was magical.. and our villa was so amazing! I kept thinking to myself, is this real life?! We got the 3 bedroom villa with garden. I seriously love love loved our stay here. Coming back here asap!! Also recommending to my friends! Ps. They have really good free breakfast!
Great grounds, average room”
My husband and I frequent Pai and this was our first time staying at Puripai. We got a deal on agoda and that was the only reason we booked with them. The grounds and surroundings are wonderful. It is peaceful, great views, and the facilities are great for relaxing. However, the rooms are not worth the price. Although the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean it was quite small. We have stayed at places much cheaper in Pai with much bigger rooms. Overall it was a nice stay but I would never pay full price for a room.
Beautiful hotel, but could be managed a bit better”
We loved the design of this hotel and it's location- it has absolutely spectacular views and is away from the motorcycles and hustle of town. For the area, we thought it was a nice hotel and good price. The ladies who work at the spa gave really excellent Thai massages and the driver was absolutely a great guy. But we also didn't think it would be considered a 4-star hotel elsewhere in Thailand. Some things could be improved on easily: the staff were really difficult to communicate with due to language barriers, so on multiple occasions we got (or understood) information from them that was just not true; it says they offer shuttle service into town but this is not free and not that often; missing some basic amenities and oversight (no hair conditioner, drains clogged, balcony not cleaned and sheets a bit stained, no information at hotel about local tours or activities...)
Dream come true”
The amazing Puripai Villa hotel was the best! Everthing was wonderful, including the staff, hotel manager, the amazing room, the hotel facilities, and of course the breathtaking view from the balcony! Recommended! Recommended! Recommended! I truly belive this hotel is a 5 star plus hotel
