Samui Baan Sukreep Resort
väldigt fint och frächt med trevlig personal som v”
ligger en bit från strand och shoppinggator, ca 10 min med moppe eller tuk tuk. ett tips är att hyra en moppe på hotellet, kostar bath per dygn och man blir väldigt flexibel
Really relaxed location and very friendly staff. Plan to return soon ”
I really enjoyed my stay at Baan Sukreep. It's a really short walk to the beach and not too far from the main area in Chaweng or Lamai. My room was kept clean and the staff were extremely friendly. The restaurant on-site is a must. I only tried the thai and malay cusine and was impressed with it every time - I ate the restaurant almost everyday at some point! Breakfast was simple but nice. The resort is very small and intimate and the owners very helpful. I'd definitely stay again.
Samui Baan Sukreep Resort”
Very average the staff didn't even know how to check us in when we arrived at 1:30 pm and told us to come back in two hours. The hotel is quite far from anything so a scooter is a must. We didn't actually eat anything from there kitchen because of concerns that food would be outdated as not many people rate there. I would highly recommend people avoid this place
Too noisy ”
When I checked in at this hotel, the hotel staff told me that I haven't finished the payment. I was very surprise. Then the next day, the staff told me that it was her fault about it. I was very disappointed about this issue. I've travelled to different countries and I've been in many hotels but this is the 1st time that the hotel told me that I haven't finished the payment upon the time of my check-in.
Hotel has about 5 suites and this is a big advantage for a relaxing holiday Hotel provides motorbikes for a reasonable price Located 5 minutes walk to a nice beach Good swimming pool with jakuzzi. Clean and not crowded. There were no more then 2-3 people there Reastaurants and shops about 10-15 minutes walk on the north of island Air conditioner was old and it took long time to cool the air in the room For short term stay only because of the price
Inconvenient. Doesn't accept Visa. Low value for $”
Not good. I chose the place from Tripadvisor. I find that it's highly overrated. It is very far from the Chaweng city center, with no view of the beach. From the main road, the traveller needs to walk 300 meters into quiet wooded areas before reaching Baan Sukreep. At night, there are NO LIGHTS leading to Baan Sukreep, which is unsafe, especially for women travelers. You can get much better value for money in the Chaweng city center. I paid 1400 baht, a room in the city center near the beach could be booked for 1000 baht. Also, Baan Sukreep doesn't accept Visa payment, and insisted that guests pay in cash because their machine broke down. Hugely inconvenient.
Great staff and the resort is beautiful.”
We loved staying at this resort. The staff was really helpful and have us a real insight on the real koh samui. Breakfast which was included was delicious and the resort itself was beautiful....you really felt like you were in Thailand.
Friendly staff, outside the city, quiet and nice”
Pleasant stay, great service from the staff, we only stayed for a night but definitely a good one
Stay away....is overated and it is not a resort”
They sell the place as a "resort", but it is far away from being one. The bungalows are very small, not very clean, it is a very basic construction, they don´t smell too nice either. In my bathroom the hot shower didn´t work, 99% of the TV channels were in thailand or japanesse, they didn´t have food in the restaurant the night I ask for.... The problem is the relationship between quality and price, it is not a cheap place but every service is from a cheap place. It is very annoying to pay for something that it is not what you expect. They should be clear and not call this place a resort. It was the only hotel in one month holiday (traveling around Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia) that I felt I made a very bad decision.
Lovely garden and swimming pool but dirty room”
The room was dirty. Pillows and blanket smell, bathroom smells too. It seems like they don't change the sheet-cover everyday. I would not recommend this hotel. It's too far from hotel to beach, so you must borrow autobike or take taxi but taxi is stressful to negotiate the price. It takes about 1 & half hour to get the beach by walk. It located in the middle of the jungle. there is nothing near hotel. They don't let guest eat their own food, and sell food at ridiculously high price.
Nice swimming pool and a short 10min walk to the beach. Once you pick up scooters, the resort is located close to some of the best beaches on the island. Silver Beach was my personal favourite.
A wonderful resort with a friendly atmosphere”
This resort is perfect for those looking to stay in a quiet, peaceful place whilst still be only a short drive away from the bustling action of such areas as chaweng and lamai. The bungalows are clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The beach is about five minutes walk a dis lovely for swimming and relaxing. Everything considered, it is good value for money and a wonderful choice of stay in koh samui
nice bungalows, friendly owner ”
bungalows are quite small, price is not cheap (not directly at the beach)
Your family away home”
My girlfriend and I stayed in Samui for 4 nights and the hotel was really nice. It is located in a good location and the stuff is really friendly. It is run by a belgian family, that is lovely. The were extremely friendly to us, and were always aware of our duties. I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will be back again.
“perfect piece of paradise””
originally booked for 3 nights, ended up staying for 2 weeks. very quiet small resort, 7 bungalows and 2 villas. Simple but excellent breakfast. An honestly type fridge system.About 300 metres to Chaweng Noi Beach [very clean and quiet beach with a few restaurants and bars] about 5 minute by motor bike from Chaweng central (the resort hires motor bikes for 200 baht a day) We would like to thank Alain, Pascale & Mrs A (thai lady) for a extremely pleasant stay where we were spoilt & treated like family We will be back again as soon as possible Stayed October 2012
Calm, relax and simple”
We stayed there for 4 nights, it was amazing, we loved the place, its very simple, very calm, relaxing, away from any noise, it is 3min walk towards the main street and 5min to the beach, the room was very small, but was enough, the pool is amazing, but make sure to rent a car, you will need a taxi to go to anywhere,I recommend it big time. the Owner took care of us and was very friendly and helpful, he always check on us if we need any thing :) .. we liked him very much..
Great location, clean rooms, pool”
spent 1 night here as stopover from koh tao before getting a flight from samui and very glad that we chose this hotel! 10 mins walk from the beach with bars and restaurants which is handy as the resort does not serve food other than breakfast (although they said could get pizza delivered!). breakfast very good. main selling point that resort small and very peaceful up the hill from the beach. relaxing to lounge around the pool and didn't feel busy despite other guests in small resort. would definitely go back!
Excellent, excellent, excellent!”
a great stay! very highly recommended. alan and his team ("a") are, put simply, exactly what we hope for when staying in any boutique hotel/resort. they are kind and warm and helpful, making all efforts to make our stay comfortable. the hospitality alone would get them a 5 rating, but it didn't stop there. the grounds (landscapes by alan himself!) are tropical and lovely. beautiful greens and colors, a sparkling pool, nice wood decking... we could have spent all day there everyday of our trip. the rooms are clean and comfortable with good air conditioners. each has it's own balcony/deck with a couple of chairs and refrigerator. we were able to rent a motorbike/scooter for the very reasonable price of 180 baht/day (in town they range from 150-200, but we were happy for tw convenience of having the bike right there for us, and knowing we wouldn't have to deal with someone trying to rip us off with stories of how we cause non-existing damage).
