Lovely little place”
a tranquil little haven that is very adequate. literally opposite nora beach hotel, which is shite wheras sasitara is such great value for money!
Great value just north of Chaweng beach ”
We booked here for 3 nights and ended up staying 6 more nights paid through the hotel. Small hotel with spacious bungalow style rooms with lots of light and nicely gardened areas around rooms. Rooms sit off the road so nice and quiet at night. Pool was nice with shade and sun options for lounging and a few tabled areas for sitting and eating. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Laundry by the kilo available onsite. Hotel also has some long stay options with microwave and dining area plus 2 awesome villa style rooms with living room areas and small private pools. Onsite parking area also. The only negatives we would say were some areas had spotty or weak Wi-Fi and only limited TV channels but we rarely used anyway. Some areas of the property are in need of updating or repair but this can be expected of almost any smaller hotel in Thailand. None of these things affected our stay and did not include any of the daily use areas of the property. Especially considering this was on the lower end of the prices for hotel with a pool it was a spectacular bargain and we will happily stay again
Unhelpful staff and rude”
The location of this hotel was good. However, the staff were very rude and unhelpful. Our room wasn’t cleaned the whole 4 days we were there. When we asked about this we were rudely and abruptly told you need to put the sign on your day if you want the room cleaned. I’ve never heard of this and only ever heard of a sign for not cleaning. However, when we checked in we were not made aware of this. We then asked reception about booking a taxi to the pier and they were very unhelpful and all sitting on their phones uninterested and told us to walk to the street to get a taxi.
Rodents moving in the walls and cealing at night, very loud from traffic and just thin plywood deviding you from the other apartment. To get to the beach or Chaweng you need to walk 15 min along the busy main road beside heavy traffic. The room and the patio are much smaller as they look in the pictures. We moved out after a week even we had it booked for a longer holiday. The stuff was helpful and friendly. Maybe ok for a short stay.
Wonderful please and clean it's around 2 km from the center city the staff is very friendly
Pros: Large room, two air conditioners, staff helped check ferry times, nice balcony. Easy walk to busy area.
The room smell very bad. Not clean in room.
Our room got flooded from a leak along the window and the staff completely ignored us.
Totally worth it”
We Were 4 backpackers staying here just to wait out the rain. So for us it was perfect, good breakfast and nice people working there. Maybe a little bit long to walk to chaweng so that was the only problem. Close the beach (not chaweng beach) but another. Due to the rain We didnt visit it tho! Nice pool. The only bad experience We had was pretty slow wi-fi, otherwise it was great overall.
NOISY AND BAD SMELL”
It locate next to main road therefore very noisy and in the room, those bed sheet had a bad smell as well and a lots of dust
Good but far and lots of traffic noise”
We stayed in Duluxe family 2 bedrooms. Room was clean and pretty neat with a loft as the "second" bedroom - although loft was always much hotter than the rest of the room. Wifi works well and breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Cons: far from main Chaweng shopping area/restuarants (30 min walk or 50 baht songthaew ride) and lots of traffic noise - hard to sleep unless you have ear plugs
Nice room but really bad service mind night shift staffs ”
I was really impressed the big room and comfortable equipments but my vacation was worse than I thought starting with swimming pool had floor broken,it cut my right foot and bleeding. I tried to ask for first aid kit and any help form the staff at 6pm but he can't speak Thai and help nothing. Then my friends drove to the town and brought the first aid kit for me to clean my wound. At 9pm I talked with night shift security guard and he said like it never had accident happened at pool so didn't have the kits and he said the pool was safe but I complain and he didn't care anything. I wanted to talk with manager but the didn't give me the number. So if you want to spend your vacations here please be careful about the night shift staffs if you have anything happen, I'm sure that they can't help anything like my case. But the lady staff in the day shift she was very helpful and good service mind.
Good services and very convenience.
Nice setting but poorly maintained.
good double rooms”
The double rooms was old and lack of maintenance
We only stayed one night and it was ok.
Good Island ！”
Room is good and its cost is reasonable. The location is also good, i.e., it is near the center of city and the airport.
