Cozy and friendly guesthouse”
While the guesthouse is a bit out of the way from most things in central Tokyo, its local neighborhood is quiet and charming, and the staff (and fellow guests) were extremely friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back next time I spend a few days in Tokyo.

Fantastic Place to stay”
Ive been going to this place atleast once a year since it has been opened. It is owned and ran by Nana and her family. They are all extremely welcoming. The location is close to Uneo which is useful if you want to can the shinkansen trains or go to Narita airport on the skyliner. Nana-san and her husband are very warm and welcoming. We stayed there last May 2017 and we had a great time. Wished we could've stayed longer! The triple room was small but good enough to accommodate us - we didn't have much luggage so we had no problems. It's close to Minowa station.

For exploring east side of Tokyo (the museums in Ueno, Akihabara, not to mention Minowa itself), Sato San's rest is just perfect. There's good food in the neighborhood of "Joyful Minowa", and all essentials are 2mins away. It's safe, shows another, warmer side of Tokyo. Best of all, Nana the owner genuinely wants guests to feel fine. I will stay in Sato San again even if I had the money to spend on a month in Hyatt.

It's really a cute, nice, quiet and clean place. Nana, the owner, is very friendly and helpful and she speaks English. The room we stayed in was Japanese style, and we were fortunate enough to experience some-kind of Sunday market, in the area. It's really a great place to experience the life in Japan way. My wive even got a calligraphy lesson from Nana. :) When I say he place is quiet, it doesn't mean it's secluded. Very close by there is a tram terminal, and a bus terminal that can get you the to more festive part of Tokyo. With one bus ride you can get to a fabric street, and a halal restaurant. And there are 7-eleven near by and couple of drugstores.

Friendly and clean stay”
This place is a gem! The owner Nana is extremely helpful and welcoming. The place is very clean and quiet. Another big bonus is the price, it's extremely reasonable for Tokyo. Also the location is a couple of stops from Ueno which is convenient for the shinkanen, Narita Airport express or JR Yamanote line. It's basic accommodation but done extremely well. Can't recommend this enough if you are traveling Japan on a budget.

Sato's is a friendly, family-run hostel located in a lively market area where locals gather for daily groceries. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the nearest Tokyo Metro station. Very friendly and approachable people. Through casual conversations with them, I was able to gather a lot of useful information for my travel. Although this place is not huge, it offers a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. I recommend Sato's for solo and couple travellers.

The owners of the hostel were friendly and accommodating. During my trip it was the best place I stayed at. The hostel was clean and maintained well, there were no issues with facilities and the location to transport and food as well as entertainment was very convenient. Definitely a place to return to in Tokyo.

If you want to feel japanese culture, i'd like to recommend this guest house. You can see a traditional market and easy to go ueno or asakusa. They were all very freindly.

This is a hole... There is NO space for standing in the 'hole'”
I, and as I noticed other travelers too, was shocked to see what they call a room, it is a hole, and basically the whole area is covered by the tatamis on the floor, one right next to the other one, without ANY space. There is NO space to put your bag (luggage?? NO WAY) there is Nowhere you can put your clothes, there is nowhere you can sit, nothing... the space is a hole filled with 'tatamis'. It is a shame where the 'cheap' accommodation is getting.... This should not be available for civilized people... Maybe in China ok... Between the 'rooms' there is NO wall at all, so you can hear everybody in the whole place breath, talk, hair drying, or whatever they might do... Def NOT a place to rest!

I had a very nice staying with this guesthouse.It enjoys a good location with bus,subway,train. When you get out,it's a local market and quiet living area.house is new and fully-furnished.best of all,you will get a nice treating from the onwers.Highly recommended!
