Paradise for those looking for peace and tranquility ”
Viva vacation is a gorgeous family run resort offering excellent value for money. The spacious villas are set in the most beautiful well maintained gardens and the property had a stunning beach front location. The food and service was excellent throughout our 7 day stay. Honestly one of the best places we have stayed in south east Asia.
The staff was wonderful, the villa was large and clean. The food was delicious and it was wonderful to have dinner on the beach. The location is quiet and away from the major tourist areas. The only thing we didn’t like, the water on the beach was murky and brown. We did not want to swim in it. The beaches in Lamai and Chaweng were crystal clear. Fortunately the property has a very nice pool. There was a wedding one night while we were there and the staff made sure all hotel guests were taken well taken care of during the event.
I booked for my childrens honeymoon and this was a very good choice as the resort did everything to make them comfortable and they are very happy good service good protection good reception all s very good, Thank you so much to service them so well, you will be blessed. Regards
Great and spacious room, friendly staff”
The staff were very friendly and helpful, we have a great time at here as a honeymoon. The bicycle at here is free to ride and we can just ride to the nearby market. The location is suitable to relax as it is outside of the town.
Awesome place, feel like home!Must visit place!”
At first ,I thought it was just a normal poor small house when I arrived.. I change my mind after the welcome drink that made by a special leaves that can change the color from green to purple ,it was amazing yet tasty! After that I was guided by the staff to my villa, people here are friendly and helpful! It is a beautiful garden with nice decoration for the path to my villa.Once I've reached my villa,I have the feeling feel like home, something called my own! There's great view, green garden in front my house,a bench outside, and I started entered my house,it's very spacious house, for me,I'm solo travel, and I love my villa! The bedroom is with nice deco ,and connecting to a huge bathroom! It's really big, have a bathtub, independent toilet and independent shower room inside, yet still very spacious with big mirror..It may good and romantic for couple :) after that ,open the door out,it's a changing room . The resort is so sweet, they have a nice bamboo bag with spare towel provided for those who plan to go swimming or beach use!I did bring the beach bag out at evening, sitting at the swing / bench ..enjoy the nice landscape, wave, and great sunset that I've in Koh Samui! The price is very reasonable, and you will enjoy a 5 star resort! I love everything in the resort! Highly recommend!
very comfortable bungalows and a beautiful garden ”
we enjoyed our stay in the very comfortable bungalows. the garden was lush, green and clean. very friedly service and a good restaurant. the beach was looking nice, only the sea is shallow and not good for swimming.
Very nice staff
Great stay, large rooms. Not for swimming in the sea, but they have a swimming pool. They have scooters to hire, which is in good condition.
Excellent place, probably the best in that area. I do disagree with having to pay 300 baht per day to use their kayak it wouldn’t hurt from them to provide free of charge
Huge multi-room bungalows, 11 total. Ours had two toilets, shower and large separate tub, sitting room, walk-in closet and large bedroom. Staff is excellent. Nice and well kept beach, huge pool. Free bicycles and market price on motor scooters. Excellent restaurant - we gave up on trying others in town and ate all meals there. Breakfast is a ‘mark what you want ‘ and is good. The cheerful staff made thos an exceptional vacation for us.
very good deal !”
Large space in the villa, especially the bathroom. The staff is nice and ready to satisfy any demand. Restaurant is also very good, but not cheap. Swimming pool open until 8pm is definitely a plus. I recommand for sure.
Fantastic break with stunning views”
Fantastic place to stay with great friendly staff who can’t do enough for you. The food is fantastic and the rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommended!! My children aged 6 and 11 had a fantastic time....
Excellent place to stay”
An excellent place to stay if you have a rental car because it is a little far way from the touristy place. Very quiet resort with spacious accommodation. It has a very beautiful tropical Thai style garden which my family enjoyed so much during our stay. The restaurant by the beach has great food. The staff are very welcome and friendly. The general manager Chris is super helpful. It feels like a family. I will be back if I come back to Samui in the future.
The staff made it perfect couldn't of been more helpful and polite ”
We had a great time here. The two ladies at reception greeted us and were very welcoming and happy to help us. The villa was amazing, huge bathroom including a big bath, room nice with air con. Pool was lovely very quiet, has a few hammocks and swing too. There are bicycles which can be hired for free which is great. Food was very nice some of the nicest we've had in thailand, a little more expensive but worth it and their cocktails were delicious - again bit more expensive than some places but worth it. Will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family :)
Very quiet, very nice”
Huge garden view villa was great. The staff was excellent, we rented car from them. Cool DVD library with tons of movies, DVD player in room. We used free bikes to ride to 7/11 and get snacks. Kind of expensive for what you get, but overall great experience. The pool was awesome too.
the hotel is good, clean and environment is good.”
the hotel is good, clean and the environment is well.but it is really to bored to stay at there, the place is quite quite, dont have any activities, even thought wanna go to nathon street also quite far from the hotel. the hotel is really good, the staff attitude well, and we also took a massge on the beach, good experience.
Relaxing Anniversary Get-Away”
We had an awesome stay at Viva! The location is remote and the beach is lovely. The staff raked the beach every morning to keep it free from debris and that is just one example of their attention to detail. The breakfast had many choices and everything that we tried was very good. My wife and I live in Thailand ad have vacationed in many different cities and the service at Viva was well above average. The one downside was that there were not many local restaurants close by and when we travel we like to eat some meals a little Thai places (it tastes authentic and helps the budget!) But overall a very relaxing vacation for our 5 year anniversary.
Four days stop in Viva Vacation”
We were on short stop in Viva Vacation Resort. It is very nice small resort for people, which do not find night live. Staff is very friendly, bungalows are after reconstruction. Pool is nice, long and deep (max 190cm). Sea is very shallow, 150m from beach is depth ~1m. Internet is not so fast, but running well. Generally - connectivity of Koh Samui to EU is not good.
Perfect in every respect”
We love this place. 3 generations of our family met, and every one of it got the best: - Our youngsters could not get enough of the pool, the beach and the shallow sea, - The parents got some timeouts of the kids cause the staff is so wonderfully friendly that they do not hesitate to take care of them so you can enjoy your meals, there's so much space to let them run, from the generously sized houses to the beautifully crafted gardens to the beach, that extends at low tide to a big playground, with shallow pools and streams, ankle-deep, and sometimes bathtub warm, so even the toddlers can safely play. - The grandparents (and parents) can enjoy the genuine friendliness of the owners & staff, away from the buzz of the touristy part, with tasteful food and drinks, perfect to wind down and relax, and even after 2 weeks nothing to get bored of, as anything that Samui has to offer can easily be arranged. BTW the cooking course is highly recommended.
