Väldigt förvånad för hög review på detta hotell.”
Helt dålig, med enkla ord: jag tyckte inte om Bangkok på grund av detta hotell.
This is my 4th time in Bkk and this is by far the best hostel I rented. You may need to walk a bit 4-5 from the bts station or pay 10 baht for the taxi. I like to walk so, for me is okay. The room was quite clean, the staff is very helpful, there is a bar right next to it, a 7-11 just 1 min away. There is no fridge in the room, so if you want to bring anything cold to your room you must leave it at the lounge. I would give a 9.8/10 so 5 stars are perfect.
Value for money”
Nice and clean. Staff are accommodating.
I stayed here for like almost a week. I stayed in a private standard room. Though the toilet is common, the place is clean, near ON NUT BTS Station. The staff was nice, they also allow you to leave your bags for a week after your check out date.
My decision to book this hotel was purely based on their rating score and review comments. This is obviously overrated and comments were not accurate. Staff was rude. Shower room not clean. Bad smell from toilet during night time due to bad piping design. They even did not change bedsheet which was used by the last person who moved out the room. TERRIBLE.
It's not far from BTS stayin (On Nut), just about 5 minutes walk. They prepare small pieces of paper (the name of tourism attractions, airport...) in Thai. The location is far from the city center. The room is small for 20 beds in a room. With this location and the number of bed, it's expensive more the one which I stay near Chinatown. The water closet is not very clean.
Customer satisfaction not guaranteed”
To its merit, the common area is quite well maintained and contrary to some comments here, the location isn't too bad. There's a tesco nearby, as well as a few massage and food places. Reception was actually also quite nice to me. What made me really unsatisfied is how they don't seem to really care about their guests. Its purely a money making business for them. For one, the aircon in the room was SUPER WEAK. I was sweating on all nights....kinda what you wanna get away from in humid Bangkok. It seemed they weren't willing to adjust it to save costs. My main gripe was the awful WiFi. They "tried" to fix it bit it was constantly on and off. The last blow was the disgusting washroom and toilets that are in bad need of a renovation. Do yourself a favor and book a nice hotel instead.
Staff are not welcoming”
The staff are so serious and not hospitable. Very far from bts. If you have a trolley, the road goin there is the worst, not traveller-friendly location and service. There are lots of cheap hostels but they are friendly and accommodating. I regret to have booked here.
VERY BAD, DIRTY”
Lady at front desk wasn't helpful at all, didn't even show me the room, just pointed me where to go. No towels, no lockers only if you have your own padlock. The double bed was okay actually. Bathrooms and toilets are very filthy and smelly. I couldn't get a good sleep, as some people came in a room at 3am and making a lot of noise..They were some friends of the owner. No coffee, not even cold water to drink. only good thing is the laundry. overall I wouldn't recommend the place.
1- I was not given enough attention during check-in as the woman at reception was doing two tasks at the same time: talking loudly with her friend over the telephone with the speakers on and asking me questions about my reservation. The conversation was so loud that I felt uncomfortable. 2- The number of beds in the dorm was hidden from the customer, the price misleading and the offer of 65% discount not geneuine. The dormitory turned out to be a 20-bed dorm. I do not beleive the offer was genuine. I stayed in an 8 bed dorm in a much better hostel, much closer to On Nut station for £4. 3- The woman at reception was not helpful at all when I sought help with the WIFI. I remember her saying to me after insisting to get help "you are the only one who has this issue. If you are not happy with MY HOTEL, go to another hotel. However, the night receptionnist (a young man) resolved the WIFi issue 4- There were a few long hairs on the bed. The man at reception changed the sheet
Ok for the money, wouldn't return.”
This hostel is ok for what you pay. The laundry facilities are very handy, only 20 baht for washing. This hostel is a 10-minute walk from On Nut BTS, not the most convenient place. Staff seemed helpful at check-in but at check-out, you are greeted with your deposit back, with no eye contact or communication. Overall it's ok for the money but would not return.
Good beds, a lot of space to relax, next to big supermarket and train station, we loved
Really worth the money!”
Great place any time I stay here. This was one of the best hostels in Bkk I ever stay. It’s not newly built but it’s full with generosity of the owners and their staffs. Compare to the money that we had to pay for. I think this was the most flexible hostel I ever stay. In single room, there is a table that I can work there as well. I think this hostel had more to offer (compare to the price) than any other hostels.
Reasonable price for the amenities and services. Plus, the hostel is secure and the rooms are clean. The washroom however could be improved. The location is a bit far from the main attractions in Bangkok but it is a 10 min walk to BTS On Nut which is convenient enough. Overall, this hostel is recommended
My favourite bkk hostel ”
Was a pleasure to stay here. The staff are helpful, its quiet. Close to tesco, BTS and 711. Free coffee tea & drinking water. The wifi has good connection. There is a lounge area, kitchen and rooftop to sit. The rooms are small but the space is used very well! Comfy bed & nice bedding. I'll be staying here on my future visits to bangkok.
Good place. Near to everything”
It situated on Sukhumvit 50 rd. where you can easily go to the express way. The soi nearby, there are plenty of car parks (public). Then if we have to do some business in Bkk in a short term, it's quite good to be here. When the trucks pass by, the building is not that shake as some comments said. I think it's acceptable. Thick wall, where you can really have privacy. I had a double room on the forth floor. I think it's quite private. Not so crowded which I think good for resting!
Good, vx hotel. The mosquito net should have more support frame. ”
Good. You also share free fruits. The location is good. You may need to take care about the hotel foundation, because whenever the trucks or heavy vehicle passing by, the room shakes a lot. Just be careful about the earthquake or house foundation issue. In general, the reception have good service. Thanks.
Great budget option for Sukhimvit”
Friendly staff, comfortable AC room with private bath. Located near On Nut BTS stop and many buses so getting around wasn't too bad. We found we left the neighborhood a lot as there wasn't a ton to do around there. But the hotel was comfortable and clean and the wifi worked well. We enjoyed our stay.
Best hostel in thailand ”
I make it short. I stAyed one week. Cleanest hostel in 20 years. Owners involved every day, always give good advice and very nice. Small lobby area but dont need more in bangkok. Lots of return clients. I will be back if i need a place. Location perfect, no clubs around but easy access by train or bus, two major grocery stores within 1 km. No traffic noise inside double windows. Rooftop clothes hanging great, and pergola rotunda great on first floor. One nasty old woman the only problem guest i saw, she would not like a million dollars if you gave it to her, always one complaining buffalo. Breakfast was fruit and toast and jam. More than enough since lunch across the street is only 40 baht ($1.15 US) for huge plate of fried rice, fried noodles or pad thai. Lots of street food nearby and two 24 hr 7-11s within 1000 ft. Stay here, you will love it. Only reason not to stay here is if you need the prostitues and noise and bedbugs from the redlight downtown, haahaha.
Great Place! ”
I was only staying for one night and had to leave early in the morning, but the staff was so sweet and helpful and the facilities so nice that this place will be on the top of my list when i need to stay in BKK again!
