Nice hotel, great restaurant staff”
The Swan Hotel was very adequate for what we wanted for our stay in Bangkok. Located a little outside of the super fun area, but not so far you need a cab. The rooms were clean, spacious, bathroom a little small. The hotels restaurant was excellent and breakfast buffet wonderful, the staff were very personable and a joy. The front desk staff seemed slightly "bothered" most of the time so not sure what was going on, but we always were able to get what we needed without having to ask repeatedly.

Great location in a safe area ”
This is my second review because I chose to stay at Swan Hotel twice...and I will choose to stay here again if I get back to Bangkok! There is an internet room in the lobby that connects to the restaurant and you can take the food from the restaurant to the pool. Can't think of anything I didn't like at the hotel. Great place

Vacation Traveler”
The Swan Hotel is a small family feel hotel. The rooms are basic but comfortable and fullly equiped with towels, soap and a fridge. The hotel has a great pool in a tropical setting. The restaurant is open until 2pm and has yummy American and Thai food. I enjoyed breakfast everyday. A big plus for the hotel was the staff. They go ove and above to help you. I thank them all. This is a real jewel in Bangkok. I will always stay here

Best hotel yet!!!”
We have travelled all over SE Asia and stayed in a variety of accommodation some hostels and some pricey hotels.. I can say with confidence that this is easily the best place we have stayed!!!! It's in a brilliant location for food/shopping/nightlife/Silom road. It's clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The pool is awesome and the rooms are big. The food in the hotel is well priced and tastes brilliant. We have both enjoyed our stay here and we plan on extending here through songkran. If you are coming to Bangkok please stay here. I don't often put the effort into writing a review unless it's good and this place is awesome!!!

Great little hotel in an excellent location”
This is my fourth stay at the Swan Hotel in 30 years and it remains my favorite hotel in the area. The swimming pool is a real oasis of quiet and relaxation. The location is in an interesting part of town with lots of antique stores, it is close to the BTS stop Sapan Taksin, and a short walk from the Riverferry stop at Oriental Hotel. You will receive a 15% discount if you book directly with the hotel using email. They don't require a credit card. It includes one hour of free Wi-Fi and free breakfast. Otherwise book using Agoda. Preferred rooms are on the second floor at the back. They have chairs to sit outside the room on the balcony facing the pool. Otherwise get pool facing room at the front. Check the room first. They're very accommodating. Have a great time!

Once we checked-in,We were looked-after by the staff and they explained everything and assisted us where required. The location of the Swan Hotel is great. I would certainly recommend it for a short stay in Bangkok.

Great hotel with lovely pool”
As a single female traveling alone, I loved staying at the Swan Hotel. It is a great location...in a very safe area with taxis and tuk tuk's waiting outside to take you where you want to go. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant serves great food and the pool was super clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling alone who wants a safe, nice but budget priced hotel.

Wonderful”
A lifelong friend and I are traveling Thailand. The Swan Hotel is wonderful. It is not a new hotel but deserves 5 stars. The room is very basic but comforatable. The pool is fantastic and beautiful. The staff is the best. Always there to help you. Breakfast and lunch is very good with wonderful quick service. I will always stay here when I return. Thank You---Patricia Smith---Florida USA

Right by the River, Nice and Quiet”
We needed a place to stay near the Sheraton for a conference and were not going to pay $300/night there. Swan is a great hotel with a nice morning breakfast buffet. It is walking distance to good local food and a shopping center within 10 minutes. There are some great jewelry shops around if you are looking for low cost and high quality. I have to say I have met nicer hotel staffs in my life, but would certainly return to Swan in the future. Some of it might have been a bit of a language barrier. I would recommend a stay here if you need to be in that area of Bangkok.

Fine place”
A couple of times I stayed at Swan Hotel and never look for another place! Convenient location, pleasant staff, good food, clean rooms, simple bathrooms but clean!, and a nice pool. The minus: not suiteable for guests with a walking problem because all rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator, and the wifi is not free....

comfortable, relaxing, easy to access”
It was very nice experience staying in Swan. It's easy to find, very close to Oriental Pier, and not far from Saphan Taksin Sky Train station. There is a very pretty little swimming pool, which makes the inner view of the hotel very nice. Breakfast is good, and staff are friendly. The only shortcoming is there is no free wifi. Otherwise this would be a perfect little hotel for me.

nice hotel ina fairly good location and a pool”
The Swan is a good hotel with a great pool. The breakfasts are good and the rooms are clean and adequate. They need to include the internet and wifi rather than charge for it. It is close enough to Taksin station for use of the BTS and also the Chao Phraya tourist boats.

Comfortable hotel at affordable price”
i stayed for three nights at swan with my wife and children aged 15 yrs and 7 yrs. had to pay extra per day for breakfast of my child. room is ok as per price. breakfast is good. my children loved the pool. oriental pier is close by. sathorn is in walkable distance. staffs are good. internet facility is there at 30 bhat per hour. restaurant facility is very good with required menus and drinks. overall impresion is very good.

The Swan Hotel is bit dated in appearance, but staff were friendly and helpful and for the money, this a great little hotel with a nice pool. Located very close to the river and the river transport service making it easy to get to most places fairly quickly

Great location with easy access to the BTS and ferries, friendly staff, nice pool. Rooms are clean if a bit shopworn. You won't get close to this value for this price anywhere else in Bangkok.

The room is too small, the bed and conditions of the room suck. I have to pay for using internet inside my room (100 bath/ 30mins). I guess maybe because I stayed in a single room with such a cheap price . However, the swimming pool inside the hotel looks pretty and cool. And it's not easy to travel from the hotel to any interesting place around this area (Bangkok riverside).

Decent stay in a good location”
Swan Hotel is close to some of the most visited temple and some of the biggest shopping centres in Bangkok. The hotel is a little old. But its good value for what we paid. I would stay there again. Just be careful with the tuk tuk guys outside side. They charge you 10 times more than a taxi meter.

Wenjoyed our stay at the Swan Hotel. The kids especially enjoyed the pool, The location is a bit far from the temple and palace area. Staff was responsive. The hotel could use come updating, but it is clean so fine for us. It is a good value for a major city.
