Family Time Well Spent!”
This is my first family trip to Jambi in a year, we are visiting our toddler niece and we brought our elder parents to stay here in Swiss-Belhotel Jambi. We stay for 3 nights and it was one of the most comfortable stay for us. The hotel was both child-friendly and elder-friendly, the food is delicious we really have a blast being served with the breakfast buffet menu within 3 days of our stay. The staffs are all helpful too. Thank you, Swiss-Belhotel Jambi. We really enjoy our stay. See you again in 6 months!

Stayed only one night”
There was a renovation going on so it was not that pleasant. The room was ok, but it smelled like a smoking room. I can not remember if I have asked specifically for a non-smoking room or not. Usually I would do that, but I am surprised that I was given a smoking room. So either I may have made the mistake, or the reception did. It was just an ok stay there. I thought the name "Swiss-Belhotel" would bring in so much more quality as I have received.

Best in Jambi but not perfect”
It's the best hotel in Jambi but still room for improvement. For instance, the bathroom sink was provided a bar soap but no soap dish. So having stayed 2 nights, the next day the bar soap was cleared by housekeeping since the way the sink was designed, you'd need to put the wet soap on the vanity top. Really strange, since the next day they did not change my towels (left on rack) in line with their "green" practice... so how about soaps that are used once and thrown away? And another incident... the next day on the morning of 23Aug, the breakfast area was full of guests attending a ballroom event. As I was dining alone, I left my table to get some food for a moment. When I returned, some guests on the next table had put their bags on my seat. I told the waiter and he asked me to move to another table! It was terrible. In such cases, there should have been more communication between banquet department and the rest of the hotel to inform that the hotel is full and to expect crowds, and the breakfast staff should usher the guests to seats instead of the usual free entry, in order to prevent misunderstandings. Very poor management in my view and not exactly world class...
